Way above and beyond the usual pub fare. The dinner menu is as just incredible & we enjoyed everything we had there. The pub has two bars, one in the main dining room & one in the back with pool tables & darts for the younger crowd. What can I say about the drinks? hey, it's Ireland they do it right. They have concerts & parties out in the parking lot and it can get pretty wild in a good way. The craic (fun) is 90 as they say in Ireland. Navan is about a half hour or so north of Dublin & if you ever get over there don't miss The Round O.

The whiskey sour was tasty & strong and the Guinness was smooth and perfectly chilled. I had been tentative to have lamb but we finally ordered it and wow was it the most tender and flavorful cut of meat. The sides and gravy were grand. I wish I had had my dog with me so I could give him the nice bone afterwards haha. We also ordered hot wings and surprisingly they were much better than what one gets in the states. The dessert was good and the bartenders helped us find a cue ball so we could play pool for a while. The atmosphere was nice because it wasn't a bunch of tourists but felt more like real suburby Dublin. We might go back to Ireland just to eat at this restaurant again :)

After eating an excellent meal, we discovered the other end of the large restaurant had a full service restaurant, so there was more than cafeteria style available. The servers at the cafeteria line were cheery and fun to watch at work as they expertly served the plates to order and sent them down the line. Even with the large crowd, we had no trouble finding seating.

Way to much dressing, No croutons and soft bacon and soggy lettuce. It was terrible nothing as described on the menu. Next I ordered a cajun chicken burger with no tomato. What again was presented was a chargrilled chicken breast with no Cajun, 2 small pieces of lettuce and the bottom bun covered in relish that tasted horiffic. I've been ordering the same meal when I've gone in the last few years and normally the Cajun burger has a fantastic Cajun sauce, lettuce and onion rings on it. I recommended it to a lot of people. Not any more, I'm not sure who made it but it was clearly not what was described on the menu. Service was very slow when normally quite fast. I said it to the waiter and all he said was sorry about that and I still had to pay for that meal. This is the first time I can say I've been unhappy with any meal I've bought here or elsewhere but it was that bad I had to say something. Please do something about this as the quality of the food has just plummeted. I wouldn't recommend this again

The steak sandwich in the other hand was unreal! Chunky chips, thick sliced bread and the most tender cut of steak. Perfect for a sandwich. I engulfed all the food. The chips were a winner.
