Love Juan Pollo. Great place for a semi healthy lunch. This location doesn't necessarily have slow service but when I call and order ahead, they never have my order ready when I get there. The person who takes my order usually says ten minutes. I might arrive at seven minutes so I thought I was the problem. Today she said five or ten minutes so I gave them 15. When I arrived my order was not ready. The three people ahead of my who I heard place their order all received their food before I did. I'd rather them say that they don't take phone orders because now I've wasted half of my lunch break waiting for my order. I came last night... 6/1/25 - i got food poisoned 6 hours later. The chicken looked pink to me when i received it. I paid no attention because the place was packed and my belief was that the food was really good, maybe it wasn't undercooked chicken i was staring at. Wrong. 6 hours after eating it my stomach started curling/hurting. I had to run to the restroom. All i can say is never again. If it looks like pink chicken (undercooked) it's pink chicken. Dispose of immediately. I'm definitely not coming back to this location. I had to throw the rest away. No one should have to go through that kind of pain. read more

This is my second trip here. I really like how they keep everything clean and the food is absolutely delicious but this time I got a two piece meal with the two sides and it was supposed to have a thigh and leg. I only got one thigh. So it was technically only a one piece with two sides. I was a little disappointed, but I could not go back to get the other piece. Juan Pollo is the chef's kiss of perfection. I love rotisserie chicken and this place makes the best. The skin is crispy and flavorful. In my opinion the best part! The chicken meat is cooked to perfection. I have yet to get a dry chicken from here. It is consistently on point and paired with some amazing sides, salsa, and tortillas you simply can't go wrong. If you are a potato salad connoisseur, definitely order the potato salad. If you hate black olives don't get this side. I personally don't care for black olives, but they chop it up finely it's not as noticeable for me and it's definitely a favorite of mine. If you love rice a roni style rice, then you will love this rice. Not only is it chicken flavor, but it also has chicken in it. The rice is soft and fluffy, making it amazing and a side you need to try. I also like the pinto beans. They are flavorful and go great with everything. I personally prefer the mild salsa. Can't do spicy as much. The salsa is pico de gallo style and compliments the meal. I usually order through DoorDash because the one near my house closed down. I regret not supporting them enough so I'm making sure not to make that mistake again. This is one of my favorite, if you haven't checked them out I highly recommend it. read more

I have catered Juan Pollo for 2 events now & I'd like to say everything was perfect. The first Time I had a $600 order, came with delivery, they were on time, everything was there, and the food was delicious. The second time was a $250 order but we picked it up, I paid in advance, my mom was able to pick it up a little early and everything was great. Their chicken in my opinion is the best in town. The only problem I have with this place is the phone order system. I call ahead of time to place an order to save some time during my lunch break from work. But upon arriving they will still make you wait an extra 15-20mins for your order to be completed. Ordered catering about a week early. Food was ready when I came to pick up. Food was packed up for easy transporting. No mistakes. Party Pak 3 - $399 - For a party of 75, this was way more food then needed. Even after people took food home. Perfect amount of chicken. Sides can be modified to your liking. I wanted more rice and swapped out some of the other sides. Chicken is flavorful and moist. Rice is one of the best side rices. Potato salad is always everyone's favorite. Ordered party package for my daughter's party about 1 week In advance. Lady on the phone was very helpful and explained the price of the packages. I ordered the largest package. It was ready on time and packaged nicely in boxes and bags for easy transport. They even helped me put it in my trunk. I highly recommend this place. I ordered a family pack and jumbo pack for a family party celebrating two milestone birthdays for a kid and adult. I was excited to order from here because I have been to a few other locations around So Cal and it has always been delicious. First off, there were some initial issues with my online order so I spoke to staff a few days before my pick up date, and they were helpful in getting everything sorted so I appreciate that. When I came to pick up the order, the tray of chicken was not hot, well not even warm. I came about 13 minutes after my pick up, but still, I could tell it was cooked and cut up awhile ago. If the chicken tasted good, I would not care, but wow, it is literally the driest chicken I've eaten in my whole life. I can eat a lot of things and have wide food tolerance because I hate wasting food or throwing anything away, but it literally was making people cough and need to down their drinks to get it to go down. People were trying to get dark meat pieces because the white meat was dry as sand, but even the dark meat was stringy and dry. The wings were so dried out they were like jerky. I've never had a family party where everyone was silent eating because it was so bad. I felt horrible hosting this food. I see other reviews and I'm guessing this is more of an isolated incident, but I'm wondering how much earlier did they finish cooking it, cut it and then let it sit out to completely dry out. I've even eaten burned turkey that wasn't as dry as this. The salsas tasted fresh so everyone was trying to drown their chicken in that, but there wasn't enough salsa to go around. The rice was pretty bland but certainly tolerable compared to the chicken. The potato salad wasn't as creamy and flavorful as other locations, but again, that was the least of my worries. This has been our go-to chicken place and now that we've had their food several times, I like this place more and more. If you were to eat this and then try El Pollo Loco, you'll see how much better the chicken and sides are. The chicken is always moist and the sides are always freshly made. Also, service is always good and friendly. I do have to agree with another reviewer in that I always call in my order, but whenever I arrive (despite being well over 10 or 15 minutes), my order is never ready and I have to wait the full time again. First found out about Juan Pollo as one of our meetings was being catered by them. Our admins came into the conference room with 2 large trays of rotisserie chicken, a huge tray of potato salad, salsa and flour tortillas. I was amazed at how juicy and flavorful the chicken was that I didn't even bother with the salsa. The best part of the chicken here was the skin which was still crispy even after having traveled. The potato salad was also tasty but the chicken took the crown. Being so impressed with how good the food was here, I decided to take the parents and wife here for dinner a few days later. Ended up ordering the 2 chicken family meal which came with 3 sides. Ended up doubling up on the potato salad and ordered the green salad. Food came out quickly and the chicken was piping hot. The skin was once again crispy and well seasoned. Once again skipped the salsa and ended up eating 3/4 of the chicken myself along with some potato salad. My family were so impressed that we ended up ordering 4 whole chickens to go. The staff were super friendly as well! COVID 19 Review Been coming here for a few years and surprised I haven't given them a review. The chicken here is nice and juicy unlike that one famous chain that sells chicken. The prices here are good also. I usually order a family pack with the rice and potato salad - normally I ask for no green onions in the rice - the issue with that is they also don't put in shredded chicken in the rice when you do that. I don't know why that is. (Minus one star) You can also call in your order if you prefer not to wait there - so its ready when you arrive. read more
