    Burrito Indiana Special
    Dena W.

Little restaurants like this are someone's American dream and the true back bone of our country. Food-server was very attentive, knowledgeable and sweet. I went here because it said they had gluten free enchiladas. That means the ranchera or green sauce, not the red. I had a number 1 with ranchera sauce. Taco was a 9/10. Guacamole may have helped. It was a tad plain but lotsa cheese. Cheese enchilada with ranchera sauce hit the spot 10/10! Maybe I'll have 2 enchiladas next time. My partner had the La Indiana Special burrito with chile verde, sauce, sour cream and guacamole. He was definitely pleased. We both decided this place is a redo! We will definitely be going back or getting takeout! Place was decorated cutely and clean. It's homey, quaint, and looks like it's been there forever! Great lunch specials and weekday dinner specials.

All went well The waitress was very helpful and friendly. We will return for another great meal. Thanks

    Shredded Beef Burrito

A La Puente institution that's been around forever doing classic sit-down Mexican food right. My grandparents would tell me about this place when they were younger. The shredded beef is always dynamite. It's my go to with some salsa verde! Even though I got take out this time, I always make sure to dine in and enjoy the vibes. Mexican spots from this generation are dying out. Where the Spanish Revival architecture is prevalent and makes you feel cozy. Now we're inundated with bougie Mexican spots remodeled to look like a hotel lounge (Kalaveras! You will pay for your crimes one day!)

    The pollo tamale

This place is amazing. I head to door dash to order from here every weekend. The pozole is hearty and flavorful. Their chile rellenos are cheesy and covered in an amazing sauce. The tamales have masa which is not dry and full of meat. The handmade tortillas are heavenly. The salsas are full of flavor and just the right amount of spiciness. Thanks for all the good food La Indiana. I look forward to trying your actual restaurant one day.

The place is located on the corner across from the law offices. They don't really have a parking lot, the parking lot next to them has other businesses around it and the Street has limited parking available. Inside is cutely decorated for Christmas. I love the tropical vibe that they're bringing. The restaurant is a little smaller inside but they do have a good amount of tables and chairs. I ordered the Chilaquiles to go and it did not disappoint it was very tasty super happy with my plate, and my decision. It was a spicier plate but I love that she does let you know ahead of time on the phone that the plate you're choosing is very spicy . The lady in the front was so nice I loved her good morning energy. It's my first time trying this place and I'm very happy with my decision . And I love that when I open my food it didn't look perfect me and my coworker both agreed that that's how you know it's gonna come out delicious.

La Puente's hidden gem! Friendly staff, clean space, nice homey feeling. Had the combination plate #1 Enchilada and taco. Crispy taco bursting with cheese lettuce and tomato. Enchilada sauce is sooo good here. Highly recommended!

I love this place. Here I am again posting my yummy finds Today I had the eggs ranchero style with beans and Rice!!! My honey had the menudo and we shared it. Their menudo is so delicious. You can tell the menudo is freshly made because it's not salty. The flavor is rich and makes your belly happy. We ordered the fresh cheese with house made flour tortillas. So happy and full. Not blotted just satisfied!! Yum!!!

    Watered down pozole
    Rosie D.

Will never go back again!! We ordered take out. I ordered pozole. It hardly had hominy with only 3 small pieces of meat!! Once I tasted the flavor it was watered down!! So disgusting barely any flavor to it plus they are very stingy with the cabbage and radishes! I read reviews I see it's important read them!

Great food, good prices! If they only had a liquor license lol! Those excellent chips and salsa would go great with the Margarita!

We ordered the American breakfast, which is supposed to come with: eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Instead we got eggs, bacon, potatoes, beans and a pancake that was a mix between a cookie and dry corn bread. The orange juice is freshly squeezed with fresh SEEDS included. The over easy eggs were swimming in oil as well as the potatoes. Everything was just oily. They advertise their daily agua frescas on a hand written menu but when we ask for horchata they said "not today". Should've gone to the burger joint down the block instead. Waste of time and money. I'm giving it 2 stars because of good coffee and friendly servers.

It's the type of place that I would be stoked finding it, if I was on a road trip driving from California through Texas (and through New Mexico). It just has that certain quality of authenticity or how you would imagine a Mexican spot like you see in the movies or something. I came in for a late lunch so I was the only one in the restaurant so the service was pretty quick. The menu is full of those combination classics that you would see at certain Mexican restaurants. I ended up ordering the three tacos dorados combo. I thought the food was great. Because it wasn't busy at the time parking was easy to find on the street. I parked right out front.
