La Poblana Mexican Restaurant is one of my favorite places in the City of Industry! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and you can tell they put care into every dish. The tortillas are handmade. The cafe de hoya, molcajete, tacos, sopes, etc. are excellent. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I love exploring good authentic Mexican cuisine. I only came a few times for breakfast/lunch and it never disappointed. They have reallt good Cafe de Olla if you're a fan of that. Perfect sweetness , just need a little bit of creamer. They have complimentary chips and salsa served freshly hot as always. Salsas has a goos spicy kick. They have a good selection of breakfast menu, I ordered the chorizo con huevos because you cannot go wrong with that. It comes woth scrambled egg and beans, I also added a side of avocado. Tortillas are homemade , you can choose between corn and flour. I am a corn tortilla girl. The restaurant has a great ambiance with traditional music playing. always packed with families dining in especially on weekend. I had not been to La poblana in quite some time. The only thing I remembered was that their cafe de olla was delicious. I finally went again on a Saturday morning and parking was terrible. I circled a few times and ended up parking on a residential street. The wait time was about 20 minutes. Once seated we got chips and salsa, the salsa was nice and spicy. The cafe de olla was perfect it didn't need any sugar and I just added a little bit of milk. Although they were busy service was great. I had the huevos divorciados and both the red and green sauce had great flavor. The handmade tortillas were the cherry on top. I will be coming back more often. read more

Decent sized and very popular Mexican restaurant located on an older strip mall. From the outside, you would never know that delicious Mexican food is served at this longtime stabilized community gem. Upon entering the restaurant, you are transported to the type of restaurants you would find in deep Mexico. The paintings on the wall depict old Mexico, the bright colors are reminiscent of the shades you would find common in Mexico. Mexican music playing on the overhead speakers makes this a fun experience. The waitresses here are extremely hard-working going from table to table non stop making sure each guest is doing ok and ready to serve should you need anything whatsoever from the kitchen. My wife order chilaquiles w/green sauce and I had the desayuno macho which consisted of beans, potatoes, scrambled eggs in red sauce, avocado, and a cheese stuffed green chile. Wow!! My breakfast was near perfection! If not for so much sauce on my eggs, this was a 10/10 however, I truly enjoyed my breakfast, the hand-made corn tortillas and the large horchata. We have been coming to this restaurant chain for many years. (30) yrs we love the fresh handmade tortillas and the fresh cheese the salsa is molcajete style and some days its spicer then others. But delicious. The servers all have been here for many years and are very nice . read more

Been coming here for years however I hadn't been here for a few months- this morning my friend and I decided to stop here for breakfast and we immediately noticed the restaurant kinda empty - we ordered breakfast and as always everything was delicious! This time we ordered flour tortillas instead of the handmade corn and to our surprise the flour tortillas are handmade as well! Made our breakfast extra delicious. Waitresses remembered us and were very welcoming as always.. We were told during to the recent ice raids clientele has been less. Stopped in on a Sunday mid morning and place was packed, waited 10-15 minutes, but parking was bad... People doing laundry in the same shopping center so quite a few people double parking going on. My guy wanted queso fresco, so he ordered a half order with corn tortillas. Me.. Not a fan but the corn tortillas were homemade, so they were delicious. Chips and salsa was brought to us.. Salsa had good flavor with a spicy kick. Chipsaaa ahhh kinda stale tho, not gonna ruin my breakfast for stale chips. I ordered cafe de olla which was very, very sweet so had to top off with regular coffee, but it has good flavor. I ordered a chilaquiles plate which came with frijoles and potatoes. It was just warm when it arrived, so against what I normally do, I sent it back to get it hotter. My guy ordered the tamalero plate which came with scrambled eggs at first so that had to go back too cuz he ordered over easy.. NOT going too good at this point. When my guy unwrapped the tamales, it was thick with masa.. My plate came back hot, but this time eggs were runny with butter, not my style, so passed on that. Chilaquilles were good but not a fan of onions, they were in them and in the potatoes too, next time I will ask about onions. Oh, the waitress asked prior if I wanted guac and crema on them, so I said ok for the crema, but that was an added $1.50 on the bill. Hmmm, didn't see that mention on the menu.. Since I sent it back to heat up the plate, it must have melted or something cuz I didn't see it at all... Wasn't a fan, guess I'm still on the hunt for delicious chilaquiles and chips and salsa.. I tried calling the establishment so I don't have to eat into my lunch break. When I arrived I had to just place an order at the counter. Their menu on Yelp is 11 years old so I had to update it to modern prices. I do prefer 11 year old pricing though. The place was booming and only a couple of seats left. Though I was ordering to go. It didn't take long for my order to get out to me which helped a lot. The tacos were crunchy and the shredded beef was good tasting. You get lettuce and tomato and with shredded beef and cheese. My moms brought me here, we were told 20 min, 20 min later we were told 20 more min. Which was fine because we heard this place was amazing. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately they didn't live up to expectations. Heard good things about this restaurant. It's frequently busy and a local hot spot. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Fairly busy but we were seated immediately. Friendly service and vibrant atmosphere. Their menu is unique with items not found elsewhere. For example their gorditas. Those are hard to find so I had to have them. Too much corn and not enough protein. They also lacked flavor. Also tried their huevos rancheros,I've had better. I know they super heated the sauce and molcajete and put the precooked meat in it. I ordered the Chilaquiles (verdes). I would give a 5 of 5 on that dish. The wait staff was excellent. Nothing wrong there. I went to the restroom to wash my hands before I ate. Their soap container was on empty. So I wonder how the staff washed their hands. Restaurant was rather hidden in an old strip mall, had been there for 40 years. Very authentic Mexican food. Those were the best Chile Renellos I've ever had!! Bonus they served aguas fresca. A friend of ours told us we should definitely try this place since I like soup it's an a little shopping center not hard to find, we went in and we had to wait for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledge that we were there they sat us down, and a waitress came over pretty quickly, and took our drink orders. Only bad thing is they only have Pepsi products my Pepsi was a bit flat They brought us a bowl of chips and salsa. Chips were a little over cooked sauce and was pretty good. The place is pretty big clean restrooms are definitely clean. We ordered our meal. It took a little bit to get our food, but during that time the waitress came back a few times, refilled our drinks and refilled our chip bowl very friendly. We finally received our food the wet burrito we got green chili it didn't have a lot of flavor, but the meat was good it wasn't bad. My soup that I got the vegetables were not very soft and they were still kind of hard and there was big chunks of meat. The broth itself didn't have flavor I had to add salt I wish they would've cut them the meat a little bit. It was kind of hard to eat that in a tiny little bowl that it served in , the fresh made tortillas were delicious. I thought everything was good but it was not great. I'm assuming the owner came over to ask us how everything was a very sweet lady told her everything was great thank you and then we proceeded to pay our check and we left. read more
