The recent heavy rain…read morein LA at the beginning of the year revealed a bad leak at an exterior wall corner that led to deterioration of the substrate to the point where water was entering the house. The exterior wall and substrate needed to be rebuilt correctly and sealed properly so the leak wouldn't reoccur. Luis was clear about the scope and communicated well throughout. He handled the prep the right way (paper/lath, corner and bottom section repair, sealing/flashing details, etc.) and then applied the stucco in stages. The finish came out clean and professional. What I appreciated most: Luis is detail-oriented and cared about getting the final look right. He didn't just paint the new wall -- he also painted a pre-existing, adjoining wall so the color match would be seamless. The blend came out excellent and the whole area now looks intentional, not like a patch. Fair pricing, solid workmanship, great attention to detail and follow-through. I'd hire Luis again and highly recommend him for stucco work.

I also heard one guy cursing under his breath in spanish while working. Like they had this unwillingness to work. Very unprofessional. I still have to go back and paint things that were missed after paying over $8,000. Do not recommend!

I reached out in Yelp and spoke directly to Mario and went over the various projects I was looking to commence. One of the top priorities was a staircase. Mario stated stairs were his "forte". He scheduled to come by Monday to measure and give a quote. On Monday he texted after the time he was supposed to come to our home. He stated he left the area without giving a quote. Strike one . He texted he would be in the area the next day to meet with my husband. My husband moved around his schedule to make the appointment happen. Mario arrived, took measurements and left . I followed up for the next 3 days for quotes. He claimed he was waiting to hear back from various people. On Friday I still had not received a quote amd stated that I wanted to make a decision by Monday. Mario replied sorry can't give a quote by Monday everyone is too busy thank you for your time. I inquired regarding what people he was waiting to hear back from since he claimed his company handled all the jobs I was interested in. Mario shockingly replied that he would be subcontracting all the work. Really? That is not what you stated in our initial conversation. In fact, you stated it was your "forte". Why would I give a stranger access to my home and let him in if he could not even provide the services or a quote. The entire debacle wasted my extremely valuable time. Further, my husband missed partial work to let him in to get these useless measurements. The entire thing was a sham. I am not even sure he is a licensed contractor and not someone trying to take inventory to rob homes. Extremely sketchy!!!!!!

It's almost a year from now, however with the continues rain recently there was some leak in the balcony of one of the unit. I called them to come and take a look, they showed up the next day and fixed the crack at no cost. Also in numerous occasions we called them to come back and fix something they are happy to come and fix it with no charges. John wasn't the cheapest but the paint work on my neighbor's house looked pretty good even after a few years so I decided to give John a try. The results were night and day compared to the previous painter I hired - surfaces were properly prepped and touch-ups were no issue during the warranty period. After the warranty expired, John was generous enough to still offer touch ups and only charged me bare minimum labor for 1 worker (I provide the paint). The worker didn't cut any corners as he sanded and prepped all surfaces and now the house looks brand new again. Can't thank John enough for his kind offer.
