He offered to come by on Saturday (1.5 days later!). He showed up early, gave me two quotes and explained the pros and cons of each, and then ensured the paint I had on hand was the right color before I went to get more. He also removed a TV wall mount, patched it perfectly, and taped several cracks in the drywall. And then the job got way more difficult. I went to go get more paint matched, which took awhile, and when I came back he started painting and it was clear it did not match. He then went to a paint specialist, went through 5 rounds of paint matching before he was satisfied, and came back to proceed with not just touching up but essentially repainting the entire house so that it was uniform in color. What he thought was going to only take a couple hours kept him there the entire day. On top of that, after working an entire day, he asked if he could come back the next morning for one more coat because he wasn't satisfied with the job yet! When I came back in the morning he had finished, cleaned up thoroughly, stored my paint, and installed an outlet cover I had bought. The job totally evolved and at no point did he complain, much less ask for more money to complete it. He did an amazing job, very thorough, and our home now looks brand new. I could not be more happy to highly recommend that you hire him for any paint needs! He was courteous, kind, respectful, and did an amazing job. Instead of being upfront about his "one-contractor only" expectation, he chose to waste our time and walk away on the spot. It came across as unprofessional, inflexible, and dismissive of our situation. If you consider hiring Seong, make sure you ask very clearly about his attitude toward competing bids and your time. Based on our experience, I would not rely on him for anything that requires basic respect, communication, or professionalism.

Since we were replacing the carpet, we saved time on prep work and used it as a drop cloth. Sergio did a great job patching holes on wall and repairing popcorn ceiling bubbling up from the paint sprayer. I work all day so I can only check the progress and status after work. The most surprising thing is, the team was able to finish the project in a week, a whole week faster than the original 2 week estimate!
