Not bad pizza. Nice salads. Nice people. Fair prices. Their pizzas are ok, however not exceptional. They put plenty of ingredients on their pizzas, almost too much. For me their pizzas just don't have that distinctness ... example is instead of slices of tomato there are chunks of tomato and a lot of stuff is thrown on so that there are no distinct flavors. I'm also not a fan of buy 1 get 1 free. Instead of paying $22 for a small pizza and getting one for "free" I would prefer being able to buy that same pizza for maybe $13 or even as much as $15 and calling it good. Friendly employees and the pizza was ready to go 35 minutes after we called it in and exactly on the time they said they would be ready. read more

Great deals for a good value the pizza is super great the wings are awesome and it's a family business if you're looking for a great quality for a decent price this is definitely the best place to be the key to talk all day its nutritional taste. My wife ordered our pizza with 5 toppings The pizza that was selected was a 1 topping pizza and instead of make the pizza with all the toppings I ordered they chose 1 of the toppings for me made the pizza and wouldn't correct this. I called her back to let her know I was upset and she basically called me a liar and said if I came here all the time I wouldn't have made the mistake. No refund and no correction. She wasn't even friendly about it. Never coming back they were already overpriced and the customer care is lacking. Owners are so cheap they would rather save 3 dollars than a customer. This pizza is adequate. If you're hungry and you're looking for pizza better than a national chain without spending a fortune I'm sure TJ's will suffice. I would have given them 4 stars had I not also ordered the wings... . For the price the toppings were more than plentiful and agreeable. The real fall back for me was the wings. Their wings are tough like wrestling a crack head for the last cigarette in a pack. Instead of baking with sauce, or frying then adding sauce they bake just until cooked enough not to kill you then add sauce just before it leaves the door. Tossed them straight into the garbage. I'll order again when I have the gang over for game night. Sadly the wings are a never, ever though. read more

POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE OLDER MAN. I am sure he's the owner. When I called to order, he couldn't hear me and rudely told me that be can't hear me, at this point I should've just hung up. Idk, how long it will take for the pizza to be done when he asked me so I asked him how long it will take. He gave said about 30 mins, so my husband and I decided to run some errands. However, we didn't realized it was 20 mins past the time that we're expected to pick up the pizza; therefore, I called him to apologize and that we're running late. I know it was our fault but this is the first time someone actually made me feel guilty for not picking up my food one time and called to pick up my food. It's was sorta unnecessary to say, "It's already been done," in an annoyed tone. At this point, I just wanted to not go get it at all. But, my husband said to do it and not go there again and I agreed. After my husband went inside and got the food and he the guy looked at the clock then mumbled something while shrugging his shoulders and laughed then gave my husband the food. I was pissed!!! Yeah, we got the food later but it's not like we freaken did something sooo horrible for him to act like this towards us. I even freaken apologized to him for not being able to pick up the order at the time he said it will be done. Anyways, the wings was good. Pizza was loaded with meats and veggies ingredients. They were generous but it's not like omgsh I got to go back so I won't go back. If this didn't happened, and he just let it go instead of being an ass about us running late I will definitely go back. My husband said the young fella was nice and gave us two extra soda. So, that was something positive but customer service is everything so we still not going back. read more

Ordered two large pizzas for delivery. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes for it to be delivered. I called twice to get an update on my orders status, and was given very little detail either time. When I pointed out to them that nearly two hours for pizza delivery without any update to the customer is unacceptable they offered no meaningful apology or credit towards my order. I will not order from them again, and I'd advise you to avoid them too. read more

The pizza is delicious. The people are the nicest you'll meet. After an hour and 50 minutes of waiting with 3 small children and considering eating my own arm (after I called and offered to pick it up), my pizzas were delivered. No issues with delivery during weekdays. The salads are also delicious. read more

A really nice family run Pizza place, they didn't skimp on the toppings and the pizza crust was crispy while the toppings weren't. The cheesy bread with the white sauce was a huge hit with our Super Bowl party, it was hot, melty and gone in about 60 seconds. The spicy wings were tasty too. We ordered the Family meal #1 and got great value for our money. Will definitely try them again as I want to try their Tandoori pizza. read more

As others have mentioned, the tandoori pizza is absolutely phenomenal. I've tried a couple different specialty pizzas and they've all been super tasty but the tandoori really stands out. Without a doubt though it's the best pizza in Chico to me as every aspect from crust down to sauce is well balanced. And not only is the food great, but the family that owns the place are very kind and make the atmosphere feel like home. Mixed feelings with this place and it's mostly due to their wings. I ordered the garlic lemon wings. One bite of my first wing, it was nearly raw. But even the cooked chicken tasted rubbery and hard to chew. And the sauce had a weird spice to it. The marinate tasted like sink water mixed with vinegar and a hint of lemon. My boyfriend tried some and he didn't like the taste of it as well. I was honestly expecting it to be your traditional dry rub lemon pepper, but it's far from it. Their garlic bread is delicious and they aren't shy with their salads! I ordered a single salad with ranch and it was huge. I'll be coming back to order their pizza and garlic bread, but for the wings...it's gonna be a no for me. read more

Formerly known as Fattes pizza. JTs oven has discarded of their 2 for 1 pizzas and sell them individually for a higher price. I have been eating fattes pizza for about four years now and my boyfriend has their phone number memorized from many enjoyable experiences. we ordered pizzas that we normally get and they took ingredients off of them and in one case just substituted dry salami for pep. this would not be a big deal if the pizzas were good. the salami was the worst thing I had ever tasted and it really brought down the quality of their all meat pizza. when i went on Facebook the person running that site made excuses and said that they order their food from round tables supplier. that is laughable to me because at their best its no where close to that quality. they then deleted my comment by the next day. I will never be eating here again. pizza guys has better ingredients with cheap prices and their crust doesn't taste like cardboard with cornmeal on the bottom of it. This was horrible. If they would have apologized and attempted to correct their mistakes I would have given them another chance. But when they deny what the person eating their food is telling them and rabble on about being like round table, that is not the way to treat the people who keep your business running. I strongly suggest going elswhere. In chico there is celestinos, pizza guys, and left coast pizza in the area. Try one of them before even considering JTs oven. read more

Went there the other day @ 11:00 AM and they open at 11:00 AM. We were the FIRST to arrive and they seemed a little unprepared. It was FREEZING in there and we commented on how cold it was and the cashier claims;" it's always cold in here, as they need to have the restaurant at a certain temp. to keep the dough right " // O' okay, so the patrons can FREEZE ! (I wanted to say that) Our meal order consisted of 1 single small salad,1 small order of BAKED wings and 1 personal pizza & 2 bottled waters (they claim they don't have tap water available on the soda machine??) Our order was for just 2 of us-sharing//Expensive (over $17.00). We were not asked (when being rung up) if it was for "here or to go"; but such a small dining area and with how cold it was, we waited for it "to go"..We were told it would take 15 minutes, which turned into more like 25 minutes and we waited outside. We finally got our order// food was fair: Wings were okay (saucy), Salad has toppings made from the pizza station : chopped up mushrooms, green bell pepper and the tomatoes on it were still frozen! Their Pizza is just okay! Would say Mountain Mike's Woodstock's and Round Table's pizza is much better!! This one just didn't have enough flavor, sauce or cheese and just very plain.. Discovered JT's during the shutdown. The tandoori chicken is amazing. We haven't had a bad one yet. Tips: When ordering online, and you want to pick up later, while you can't change the time, in the notes, put in the time you do want to pick it up. Also, if you want the 2nd pizza of the BOGO to just be a cheese or similar, just put, "make 2nd pizza a cheese". The crust is always delicious, the owners are so friendly and kind, and the pizza ALWAYS piping hot. Really glad we found them! read more
