This place is a hometown institution. Our family LOVES pizza. We aren't local, but anytime we make our way to northern California we go out of our way to grab a pie. They have mastered the blend of traditional American satiety (cheesiness and thickness of the crust) with the artisanal qualities of that perfect char on a Sicilian pizza. Today I send my daughter to pick up the pizza I ordered and when she asked for cheese and peppers the employee blew her off. Horrible customer service and I've noticed it was a little lacking the last few times I've been there. We stopped for pizza on our way back to the Bay Area from camping up north. This pizza was the best first meal back in civilization! Pizza was great! Salad veggies were fresh and crisp. Have been to Marcos quite a few times over the last few months during the lunch hours and it was always amazing and super nice service, the teenagers working during lunch time have exceeded all my expectations as a customer! however I visited Marcos pizza during dinner time ( around 6:30 pm, 3/19/25) and the employees working in the front of the kitchen were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. one girl specifically walked up to our table and was blatantly sarcastic with us while we were enjoying our pizza because they presumably messed up their order & expo system. My group of friends were made to feel incredibly uncomfortable and none of us or our friends & family will be back unfortunately. I understand mess ups in the work place, were all human and mistakes happen but being rude to paying consumers for no reason is pretty disappointing and unacceptable. read more

Ordered pickup as we were staying one night at a hotel near by. Food was ready when we got there which is always nice when you do online orders. The hassle was downloading their app which they promote on the website to do in order to save on fees. Going through that whole process just to order a pizza and then we still had to pay a convenience fee! That was annoying. However, the pizza and wings were tasty. My 15 month old loved the plain chicken wings, ate them all! The pepperonis on the pepperoni pizza were delicious, really enjoyed those! My husband was bummed they didn't offer banana peppers or pepperoncini's and opted for the jalapeños. read more

Amazing pizza place! We ordered the garlic bread with mozzarella and the ankle breaker pizza. Both were delicious. The crust on the garlic bread and pizza were crispy as were the pizza toppings and the cheese on the garlic bread was gooey ( add the mozzarella; it's worth it) l. The staff are so kind, friendly and professional; you can tell that they take pride in their business, food, and care for their customers. The inside of the restaurant is large enough to host big groups and events. The space is inviting with televisions playing various shows and arcade games for the kids and kids at heart. I use to LOVE Marcos and recommend them to everyone but since new ownership it is now the worst pizza I have ever had. We have tried it about 10x hoping they would get things figured out! The pizza is rarely cooked all the way, even when I ask to have it cooked extra crispy . I have to put it in my air fryer to make it edible. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza today and it was again an incredibly greasy, soggy, doughy pizza. Don't waste your money!! Honestly, Little Caesars is a better option. If you are heading North go to Firehouse pizza, they always cook their pizza to perfection, the toppings are top quality and it's NEVER soggy!! Maybe Marcos can get some tips from them! read more

Omg, so good! We'd tried to order from Little Caesar's but the website wouldn't bring up a place to put a cc, they hung up on me when I called and when we went to the actual store, there was no one at the counter & 5 people waiting. 3 strikes and we went for a drive to find something to eat as we'd just driven 5-1/2 hours. Corning, California, is one of my regular stops on I-5 in California, it's about 2 hours north of Sacto, and the reason I always stop there is to buy olives. The Olive Pit has a zillion varieties, and I always buy a few giant jugs of them to tide me over until the next time I zip through there. The store is open long hours, but once I arrived in town ten seconds too late, and was so determined to get some olives, I spent the night in a motel there, to wait for them to open. Having stopped there on my southbound leg this trip, I didn't need to stop there going home, but coincidentally, it was time to stop for the night, and Corning was as good a place as any to get a cheap motel. I found it, and it was packed full of coyotes and illegals, coming and going all night in vans, but perusing the restaurant literature in the room (which was astonishingly clean), I saw a flyer for Marco's Pizza, and figured I would get a pie to go, enjoy it in the room, have something to write about. I took the flyer to the car, to get the address into the Tom Tom, started the car, looked up to back out, and saw the Marco's sign right next door to the motel. Duh. That was easy. I ordered an All Meat pie, which at Marco's includes more than your average pic-i-nic basked pizza, with salami, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, ground beef and linguica. For those of you not familiar with the last ingredient, it's also known as "Portuguese Sausage" and is a northern Cali topping of choice, many places. After the requisite 12 minutes, I paid for the pie ($18.15 for a 14) - Marco's also offers a 16 and 18, and hobbled back to the room. The pie was a medium thickness on the crust side, crispy at the rim, and chewy towards the middle. "Hang" was substantial, and toppings did plop in the box, and you know how much I hate that! It's a good slice to do a Manhattan style chew tho, if you're into rolling your slices. I liked the toppings, should have ordered double cheese, but all of the pork products had great flavor and texture. I'll go back, on my journeys. I just tried to see if they had a website, and most links lead to a small chain of the same name, but I don't think they are affiliated. read more

So we looked this place up online, the hours listed said open till ten, walked in and told them we + 7 others would like to order, the staff walked to the back, then came back to the counter and told us, " ooh sorry, but we recently changed our hours, we. ow close at 9. The time we walked in was 8:45, they took my wifes order but told us they couldn't take any others.
