#ThankYouThursday Grateful for JSW's great covid safety practices, all staff are always masked up! Also grateful for Erendida, who gives an amazing cut and works magic with bayalage! Call her now to get in before the holidays! JSW has undergone a beautiful transformation in the last few years, the owner and her team have obviously put in a lot of hard work to make their space feel bright and welcoming for their clients. Thanks JSW! read more

Everyone is professional and efficient. The stylists are all so very talented and artistic.

Jaque is THE BEST stylist I have had in my life! I have curly hair and she has been able to give me cut that does well when I wear it curly or blown out. My color is always fabulous. I've been seeing her for 8 years this year and appreciate the care she puts in to making sure my hair is healthy and looking great! read more

Robert Morales willingly worked with me in my wheelchair. He was sensitive to my sensitive scalp needs. And he gave me an excellent haircut. The shop itself was filled with goodies. It was well-lit and smelled great. People who worked there were friendly, and I was offered water a few times. The price for my thick, curly was surprisingly reasonable. Robert cut this very grown-out mess dry so that he could see how my hair behaved. He shampooed after. All in all, I am returning and referring friends to him. So relieved to finally find someone who knew how to handle my hair. I had given up and had a Mohawk. read more

I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Jackie the very same week I called to schedule one. The overall experience was AMAZING and I definitely felt pampered. The most pampered I ever felt at a salon. Best of all, I love my haircut!! I didn't even have a picture but Jackie understood exactly what I was hoping for, even if I wasn't explaining it in the best way haha I also felt very comfortable and welcome. I have thick, curly hair and always feel bad when I go to a salon because of how much time it can take to cut, style etc. Jackie did all of that with ease and was very generous with the products and massages and was great to talk with. Thanks JSW for an incredible experience and my amazing haircut! read more

Robert is a magician, I kid you not. He did such an amazing job making me feel beautiful the entire time I was there, and is really just a great stylist! I love this place, and can't wait to go back! read more

I see Jacqueline about every six weeks. As a guy normally I'd pay a barber $20 $30 with a tip. After seeing her I realize you certainly get what you pay for. Ill tell you what, for what I pay its worth double. My hair is anchorman amazing all the time. read more

Had the best experience here with Robert. He is an excellent Hair Stylist. My color was Great and I LOVE my haircut. Please follow him on Instagram @mrbobbypins. THANK YOU Robert read more

I wanted an ash bayalage and while I had dyed my hair many times before and my last dye job had been an ombre, I was nervous about getting it done as I have what I like to call "stubborn black asian hair" that can be difficult to dye. I had a hair lady in Seattle that had taken me 10 years to find, but having moved to Tucson two years ago, I still had not found a hair lady that knew how to do hair right. Jacquilin was quick to respond to my inquiry for an appointment, messaging me on a day when the salon was closed. She was able to fit me in the next day. I've a lot of hair ladies who when doing hair, don't really talk to you so you're left to look at your phone or read a magazine. Some people prefer that, but she and I talked for almost the entire time that was doing my hair. When she was halfway done blow drying my hair, I was little unsure about my hair at first, but Jacquilin offered to adjust the tone my hair if I wasn't happy, but as she continued and finished blowdrying, it all came together and I looked at it in different lights the finished product looks amazing. I am super happy with it :) Will definitely be back again as I think I have found my new hair gal. read more

The owner is very passionate about her career and has great customer service. I was fortunate to cross paths with her she really did save the day. read more

I always go to Krystal to get my hair done, though I would completely trust any other stylist here! My favorite thing about Krystal (and the entire salon) is that she has a knowledge of curly hair. As someone who was born with Shirley Temple-like curls, it's impossible for me to get a haircut and come out looking human. It's obvious that these stylists have a great knowledge of how to cut and style curls. Great salon for anyone, but for my fellow curlys -- this place is a MUST! read more

I believe I just got the second worse haircut of my life. The worst was at a barber college when I was about 10. My big mistake when I was in a hurry and needed a cut. Now I have to go face Tami at SHAGGS (she is fabulous) in a couple of weeks to see if she can fix it. I knew within two minutes after this gal started that I was in trouble. Stay away is my recommendation and I would never go back. read more

I went here when i moved to tucson because i needed someone who can cut curly hair. I went and got Sarah, I loved her! She gave me a dry hair cut, a must for curly hair, and talked to me about different things i could to take better care of my hair. The place is really nice, clean, and we'll organized. They do almost everything here. You should def visit them read more

Had my first haircut and style at J Scordato salon. Tahnee did an excellent job on my wavy hair. My shampoo was relaxing. She attentively listen to my wants and expectations and took the time to cut and style my hair. My curls look lovely (finally NOT frizzy!) The cut is versatile as I like to wear my hair wavy and straight. Everyone I encountered was polite, happy and helpful. The salon is elegant and uniquely decorated. I will be returning and recommending other try out this salon! read more

Went in for my first appointment with Jackie, and I will definitely be back! She totally took care of all my hair needs, and gave me a great cut and color I really wanted. I'm a stylist also, and finding someone who can do my hair and wow me is a difficult task, and Jackie did just that. She's so greatly knowledgeable , and full of smiles. I will definitely be back. It's a cute salon. read more

I went in for a cut this weekend with Danielle and absolutely love it. Danielle is super attentive and a perfectionist, exactly what you want in a stylist. She cut my medium length thick, wavy hair into a short angled bob. I've had the cut before, so I knew what I was looking for. Danielle asked me how I liked the progress of the cut as she did it. I really appreciated that she was willing to listen to what I said. She's also very personable and made the cut a very pleasant experience. I definitely plan to go back! read more

Jackie treated me like family and I am from Florida. I called her salon late on Saturday because i was in town due to a death in the family and the mass was Monday. I knew I had neglected my hair and the color was faded and grey roots were showing. The woman on the phone asked me to hold on so she could check. She said they were fully booked and closed on Sunday but Jackie the owner would open up just for me. She was there right on time and was so friendly she took my mind off of a very sad situation for an hour and did a single process color that was exactly what i wanted and my hair had incredible shine and texture. I will tell everyone I know about her. Thanks Jackie!!!! read more

I set up an appointment here with Jackie because I have naturally curly hair and love supporting small local businesses. PROS: - Best hair wash of my life! Thanks to Mamey (unsure on spelling). I felt like I was in heaven. - Everyone was pretty friendly. - Paul Mitchell products smell great. CONS: - Location: this salon shares a parking lot with a Circle K, which doesn't speak to being elegant. The building itself does not have curb appeal. - Cleanliness: Sitting in the chair getting my haircut and the armrests were simultaneously sticky and dusty. The chairs and supply trays were all visibly dirty. While I was getting my hair washed, I noticed the ceiling fan had an ombre look. From not being dusted, ever. I didn't use the restroom. - Attention to detail: When I was describing what I wanted in my cut, I took out my phone to show a few pictures. I very clearly described what I liked as I swiped through 6 pictures. I didn't make it through the photos before the stylists said, "a few inches off, got it." - Cut: The cut was the fastest and most haphazard haircut of my life. I have long, thick hair and she didn't section off to make sure she cut evenly. It was like Edward Scissorhands. She also never checked both sides of my hair to see if it fell evenly. At the time I trusted her process and hoped for the best. - Aftermath: Unfortunately, my hair is frizzier and less defined than before. I asked for my hair to be shaped so it wouldn't fall in a triangle shape and now it does. The two sides of my head are also different lengths now. The way my hair was cut actually GAVE me split ends which is a problem I haven't had before. Summary: I spend $65 dollars getting my naturally hair cut here, so you don't have to. read more

Jacquie has coaxed my naturally curly hair, through the awkward stages of growing it out, over the past year. I am so thankful for her! I've been seeing her for over 6 years now and hope to never have to change stylists. She has also supported my hair color and highlight whims over the years. Another reviewer was right about one thing - Mamie sure rocks the hair wash/head massage station! read more

I chopped off all my hair in May after bleaching it beyond repair. I knew I needed someone really good to take me through the chopping and growing process, and I found Jacquie based on reviews of her experience and expertise with cutting curly hair. Now, I grew out my hair from a pixie cut back in 2012, and it was awkwardly shaped almost the whole time. That's something I just ...expected... when growing out my hair. This time, I don't know what magic Jacquie worked on my hair, but the cut she gave me has been super cute from day one and at every step of the way so far...and I'm really starting to get heavy into the awkward lengths. It was clear in everything from how she talked about my hair in our consultation to the efficiency and precision with which she cut my hair that Jacquie knows what the heck she's doing. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to continue to wear her adorable haircuts in the future (even though I vowed to never mess with my hair again, we all know that's not going to happen, so when it inevitably does, I'm going to Jacquie)! read more

Jackie and her staff are all amazing! Jackie just remodeled her salon so tastefully; resulting in shear beauty and elegance. She is a Paul Mitchell salon and only uses the most advanced and healthy products for your hair. Jackie is truly talented and creative in what she does. She now offers hair tinsel/hair flairs/hair shimmers, as well as hair feathers for the look you want. While moving to Tucson 13 years ago and searching for the best person who knows and understands hair has been most challenging. Luckily and finally I found Jackie 3 years ago. Having high lites has always been challenging for me, since I am a true brunette. To say the least I can be fussy and difficult at times because I have such high expectations for only the best! Jackie is by far the best. Oh, and not to mention for the first time in 50 years I have a new hair style, all because Jackie thought it would do me justice. I allowed her to use her creative mind and she was successful! Jackie is by far the best in Tucson! I love her and her staff........ read more

Jackie and her team are the best. I don't trust anyone to cut my hair. I have long, naturally curly hair and I can't tell you how many times I have asked a stylist not to cut the length, and walked out of salons frustrated. Jackie takes the time to listen, and I walk out with the cut I asked for. She gives the style back without sacrificing my length. The whole salon experience is great. Thank you, and so happy I found this place. read more

I've been going to Jackie for over a decade now. Now only does she give me an exceptional hair cut for my naturally curly hair, but she does a beautiful color. More than that her customer service is excellent and all of her staff are friendly and courteous. One of my favorite parts of going to Jackie's salon is the wash. It's incredibly relaxing and includes a neck message. I can't say enough good things about this salon! read more

Five star! For everytime without fail I get results that are stunning! I modeled for Jacqueline Scordato, Paul Michelle's hairshow, and was completely amazed at the transformation they did to my hair to accent my features. I continue to go back and get my hair done, trusting my stylist in what she envisions for me! It has been an absolute joy, and I really look forward to my visits. Conversations are great! And the mini message, well I really don't have to say much about that. You get your hair rinsed, washed, scalp and neck messaged! Prices are very good for the remarkable service provided! I highly recommend trying Jscordatos Salon out. read more

I have been going to Jackie for years. She's the best hairdresser I've ever been to for color and haircuts and that's saying something because I grew up in NJ and used to go into NYC to have my hair done. My son also goes to Jackie - he loves the way she listens to him and does great "gentlemen" cuts. My daughter goes to Sara. Sara is awesome with edgy teenagers. She listens to them closely - they come out looking exactly like they wanted but polished and not like they did it themselves. I LOVE Sara for that!! read more

Danielle did a fantastic job cutting my very curly and unruly hair. It was my first visit and she took her time with me - everything from a fantastic shampoo/massage, nice chat during the cut, and even a new (temporary) straightening. When it came to the hair products, I especially enjoyed how she gave me options without pushing anything on me. (I absolutely HATE that!!!) I will definitely recommend Danielle to any curly haired girl! She is a total find!!! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this salon. I've been to quite a few others in my life from the beauty shop my grandma went to where everyone knew your name to the over the top salon who charged outrageous prices for a lot of fluff. This salon is the real deal! They do a phenomenal job and are a team of the sweetest most genuine people you will ever meet. They truly listen to what you are looking for and work with you to reach an amazing final product. And all with reasonable pricing! This is a Paul Mitchell Focus salon and that just makes me love it even more. My mom used PM on me as a child and I feel like I've come full circle back to using it again. Amazing team, awesome products, wonderful services!!! read more

I have curly hair and had been cutting my own hair the last year because every time I went in for a haircut somewhere (I've tried several places), I always left disappointed and defeated and felt they didn't listen to me at all. I made a slight mistake cutting my hair this last time and it looked a bit strange and my curls weren't curling the right way. I looked around online for salons that specialize in curly hair and found j.scordato. I made an appointment and was scheduled with Jackie. She listened to everything I asked for in a haircut. I showed her some pictures and she brought the exact vision I had for my hair to life. She is so fun and bubbly and made me feel right at home in her salon. I left with an incredible haircut that lifted my curls, gave it body, no frizz and is so easy to style! I haven't had this good of a haircut in YEARS! Already made my next appointment and am so excited to have found someone who is so great at cutting curly hair :) I highly recommend this salon!! read more

I took my 9 year old daughter into J Scordato Salon seeking help. My daughter was thrilled to be pampered and listened carefully to all the advice she was given. I had my first appointment with Jacquie today, went in a mess, and came out looking fabulous. My curls have not looked this good for at least five years. I have ringlet style curls, and have only had them for ten years, so I really didn't know how to work with them. Jacquie was very thorough and patient and showed me exactly how to style my hair so it will look its best. She really took her time with the cut, too, and in fact told me my type of curl needs to be at least shoulder length to be at its best, saving me from the tragedy of getting a shorter cut that wouldn't look right. I have never had such a thorough, knowledgeable stylist. A good cut really makes a huge difference when you're curly! Everyone at the salon was so friendly and helpful, and I felt totally comfortable there (a rarity for me). I'll be going back for regular cuts with Jacquie, and am going to take my daughter there as well. read more
