Marty used hydraulic-driven tools, including a concrete saw and a core drill, to remove sections of a concrete walkway. I needed access existing water pipes below and also install electrical conduits. He explained the hydraulic tools, which use a separate gas-powered pump, are more stable (safer) than others with a gas engine on the tool. I've seen a gas-powered saw used before and I agree. After cutting the concrete, he used hammer drill and a sledge hammer and other tools to carefully break out and extract the excess pieces while preserving the rest. He loaded the debris on his truck and hauled it away. Marty did an excellent job. He was great to work with. He was also priced very reasonably.

My story is a long one - but I do have an important message to share about our experience... I am…read morevery happy with the outcome of our project, but we did have a few hiccups throughout the process. Read on to prevent yourself from encountering the same issues, namely the paint color... We hired All Seals to sandblast our stamped concrete driveway and stain it because our driveway paint was peeling and looked horrible. We made our first payment to them in early May. Unfortunately, our project did not start until the end of June - initially because the gentleman who sandblasts was out sick - and then because of the relentless rain (lesson 1 - don't do a project like this in the summer if you can avoid it). Sandblasting uncovered an unforeseen issue - the sandblasting did not work on our driveway because it had been painted over so many times with various paint types. At that point, we had to divert from the original plan (lesson 2 - this doesn't happen often, but it's a possibility). The owner called and let me know that we could resolve our issue with Eurotile - laying a thin concrete pour over our existing driveway, putting in a new design and then painting. It would be more costly than the original plan but much less than demolishing our driveway and putting in pavers. So we moved forward with it. I chose a design and color based on a picture I found online and All Seals said it could be done. Bottom line, they did it! At first, the light gray paint I chose looked white and I was disappointed but All Seals sponged in a darker gray to change the color and give our driveway the dimension/ depth it needed. They really pulled through for us and we are extremely grateful and very happy with the outcome! (lesson 3 - the paint color will look much, much lighter than the paint palette appears - choose your paint color wisely).
