As a main course, we shared the house-made mushroom burger, savory and flavorful. Everything was fantastic, with many earthy, fresh and delicious flavors and a variety of textures. We clearly ordered too much food, since the small plates were actually full portion-size. Skipped dessert, although the special was tiramisu. They're under a lot of pressure to compete in Potsdam, but they're doing something that shows classical training and a commitment to quality. Several Finger Lakes wines on the list. Bill came and was charged $18.95. I understand that but one should be told that the price you see on the menu is not the actual price of the meal. What made it worse was the tone in her voice as she was saying it-very degrading. Last year when we visited they were adding a service charge to the bill which turned out to be a server gratuity but if you didn't check your bill and seen it you would have still left a tip on top of that.
