My go-to place for "fast" food. Food quality is consistent and what you would expect from any Panera. Love that you can easily customize your order if you don't like an ingredient or want extra of something. I usually order on the app or the in-store kiosk, but any employees I do come in contact with are usually pleasant and helpful if you need something. I'm a Sip Club member so I pop in often just to get a beverage and it's a quick in and out. Other reviews have had issues with cleanliness, but I have never noticed that this store was in need of cleaning, it always appears pretty well put together whenever I've been there. Parking lot is a bit small for when it's busy. Can't wait until they move to the new location currently being built on the old TGI Friday's property, it will have lots more parking and a drive through!

    Wings, leg/spine?

I got a salad at this location during lunch hour and found what looks like giant bug wings and a leg in my salad. Thankfully I didn't swallow them as it tasted weird in my mouth. Definitely won't be going back as this was my first time visiting since my last sub-par visit. The only positive thing that happened during my stay was the manager refunding my order.

Dirty restaurant even off peak, long waits, inconsistent food, usually out of stock the good stuff. Some staff more pleasant than others, cooks don't look happy. I wish you could still get your own cup now I had to wait 15 minutes for my coffee cup with my food. As with all fast food be sure to check the bag before you leave. Panera was the go-to before the pandemic.

Fantastic food, and wonderful service. Quiet expensive but worth the price. Comfortable seating. If you are military (Ft Drum) this is a good break from the military, especially after field exercises. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. Seating is comfortable with cozy lighting.

i know this might be shocking, but this was my first time ever eating at panera bread, so forgive me for stating what many probably already know. i got the bread bowl with broccoli cheddar soup and it was amazing! the bread was perfect. the soup was perfect. the soup in the bread... perfect :D now i know why it's such a staple, and i plan on stopping by to try out more stuff.

It's not exactly clearly written where to pick up Uber Eats orders. I had to guess. I hope the food is good. I don't eat at Panera.

Great tomato soup and bread. Easy to reheat the next day as well. I don't recommend the grilled cheese.

Food is average quality, kinda pricey. Store is old. Ok to eat at once in a while for something different.

We were very pleased with the food, and location near the base. Many people were coming in to take out so you could tell that this is a loved spot. I ordered bibimbap and it was very very good. I typically like the dolsot bibimbap, but it was not an option, so I was surprised how good my dish was. The vegetables were fresh and well cooked, the flavors were excellent. The beef was very tasty. I also enjoyed the banchan - in particular the cucumber kimchee was fantastic. It was probably the best I've had anywhere (at least in recent memory). The regular cabbage kimchee was good too, and the pickled daikon were tangy. They offer small, medium and large sides of the banchan, and I could definitely see ordering extra of those. Our server said she makes the cucumber kimchee fresh every day multiple times a day to keep the cukes from getting soggy. My friend got the Ja Jang Myon which was very good too. The noodles were a great texture, and the portion of meat and sauce was generous. You can also get soju here! The only thing that is keeping my review from being 5 stars is the price. While I understand that these prices are probably necessary given the location, it was much higher than in a larger city such as Rochester. But other than that, I had a great experience and would come back again!

Food was alright, I wouldn't go back with that price & same serving. Crazy pricing! But the new place looks nice & they're friendly. But again, $81, it's a lot.

Before you even open the door, the vintage neon sign proudly advertising "Air Conditioned for Your Comfort" makes you smile and reminds you of an era when air conditioning was a luxury worth bragging about. Inside, the restaurant has done a wonderful job preserving its history. The original pressed tin ceiling, beautiful woodwork, mosaic tile floor, vintage lighting, and classic booths create an atmosphere that is difficult to find anymore. You can tell this isn't a place trying to look old--it is old, and it has been lovingly maintained. If you appreciate historic architecture, take a few minutes to look around. It's worth it. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My daughter enjoyed her eggs, sausage, and toast, while I had a bacon, egg, and bacon sandwich on toast with mayonnaise, along with a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of coffee. Everything was fresh and satisfying. My only minor suggestion would be that I would have liked my toast a little more done, especially since my daughter's was toasted just the way I prefer. It certainly wasn't enough to take away from the experience. The Crystal Restaurant has been serving the Watertown community since 1925, and it's easy to understand why it has become such a local landmark. Places with this much history and character are becoming increasingly rare. If you're looking for a good breakfast served in a restaurant with genuine historic charm, the Crystal Restaurant is well worth a visit.
