What's great about Paulo is if you have a question or want to meet up in person, he is quick to respond. He put me and my wife first and treated us like family instead of a customer. Paulo even sent us a sample timeline with diff. types of music from one of his previous weddings so you can get a better idea of how to get started. He also suggested a few songs for the wedding to make sure everyone was on the dance floor and it worked the day of! Paulo def. knows how to get the party started. He also took requests from the crowd during the night and even announced it before cutting/scratching to that specific song! Our third meeting was at our rehearsal because my then fiancé wanted everything just right. You know how brides get. But it worked smoothly. From the ceremony music, wedding entrance songs, first dance and last dance of the night, I must say the music put everyone on the same vibe that a wedding should have which are: love, joy, and happiness! I know that sounds cheesy but I can honestly say Sept. 21, 2014 was the best day ever and glad that we chose Paulo and Chris. As a host, Chris did an outstanding job. I could hear the energy and enthusiasm in his voice as he announced us newly weds for the first time. He builds up the hype and can control the crowd at the same time so they can focus on certain parts of a wedding such as a slideshow, first dance and cake cutting. As a groom, I was assigned a few tasks and picking a DJ was one. I'm not getting married again but I will def. recommend Paulo and Chris to my friends and family that will soon get married.

Wedding fatigue is a real thing people, but they really know how to keep the energy up. Other bonuses: 1. they come with an MC, Ben who is charming and delightful- knows when to keep things sentimental and when to turn on the humor 2. They dress up! This may seem like a small detail but I hate dj's and photographers who stand out like a sore thumb because their clothing screams "i'm an artist". They put on the button ups and ties which makes you feel like they really care about their image and they respect your event. 3. They come early... like really early with all their equipment and do all their sound testing... i know this cause I like to creep around wedding venues before guests are allowed in :) Finally, they take their task seriously! At one of the weddings I noticed all their equipment was packed up and I asked them when they would start playing. There was a traditional Thai band during dinner and the dj's were supposed to take over for the post-dinner portion but the family was wasted and wanted the band to keep going. The dj's were really concerned that the bride/groom would feel they weren't doing their jobs. I know, sweet right?? Oh, and it goes without saying their music is ReALy good :)

It is a beautiful venue and a convenient location as many of our folks are in the Bay Area. The drive there is also very easy and the venue has a large parking lot for guests. From the moment we booked for a tour to signing contract with The Ranch with Wedgewood, everything ran so smoothly. Communication was easy and efficient with the team here. They responded to all my emails within a day. They also did occasional check in to make sure we were on track of things and see if we needed help with anything. I felt like the team here are passionate with their job as it showed in the care, kindness, responsiveness, and diligence with their time and communication with us. Coming from a couple with full time jobs and other obligations and as someone who hates planning, Wedgewood all-inclusive was absolutely worth it. Planning our wedding was almost stress-free and so easy. And although it is all-inclusive, we were still able to customize our package any ways we wanted. On the day of our wedding, Nicole was our day of coordinator. She was so fun and amazing to work with. I appreciated that she checked in to see how we were doing while making sure that things were moving along as scheduled. After the deposit, they emailed me quick about the details of our wedding. How many guest we expecting and the color theme of our wedding (Hunter green and gold). On the day of our wedding we got 2 photo booths; the outdoor Photo Booth gave our guest a digital copy through text to post on social medial and save on theirs phones. The indoor Photo Booth.... They had sooo many clever and fun props all of our guest were lining up to us it. Old timers uncles and aunts to the young cool kids were lining up to use the 3 picture print out strips. At the end of the wedding, we got a photo album with the print outs that our guest took with short notes and kind messages that they wrote inside.
