The food is delicious, and if you want to feel like your palate is going on a tour around the world then this is a great location.
I have noticed that London and possibly England (I have not been able to visit outside of London yet) is obsessed with foreign food, especially Indian & Thai. I love it.
My favorite dish at JRC was their sweet potato fries, Massaman Beef Curry. OMG seriously to die for. I also loved the prawn crackers.
The restaurant has different sections like your typical huge buffet, bit for me it was a pleasant surprise from the customary American buffet.
THAI
MALAYSIAN
SINGAPOREAN
CHINESE
INDIAN
are just a few of some of the flavorful types of foods you can expect to try at this restaurant.
If you are not one for exotic, flavorful food, then there's still sections to indulge in pizza, fries, bread, soups etc.
There's a sushi section, which I did not think had much of a selection.
On a plus side this restaurant is super clean, and the food is great quality.
Soft drinks are included!
So now here's my not so good review.
COME ON!!! 90 minutes to eat, really?
I thought it was ridiculous that I was on a timer, the restaurant wasn't even half full ~ like really did they think we would eat them out of business.
We went on a Saturday Eve, If they just have to put a limit on the time, how about 2.5 hours dude.
I understand its a business, but surely they could find a way to make the customer feel welcome and not so anxious.
I assume if you are a regular, you would know where to run to etc. But for someone like me who was intrigued by food that they were not so familiar with it felt a little pressurizing to say the least.
Maybe its just my personality but I wanted to savor my bites and read the ingredients etc. You know just have an experience where I could also enjoy the food.
You almost feel like you have to be double greedy and chomp down because your on such a tight timeline and I wanted to try the variety of foods.
By the time you get up to have a drink, walk around, talk with your friends , it just feels way to short.
Maybe I am an spoilt American.. Perhaps, not sure it just didnt sit well with me.
The customer service is kind of cold. Although I had a lovely table cleaner. Other than that they came across more like body guards patrolling and making you feel under pressure to be out.
To me dining out is not just about rushing the food it's the ambiance also. read more
