We were driving through Monroe and thought we'd try this PUB, which is much larger inside than it looks from the outside. There was a motorcycle event going on, and we were really lucky to get a parking spot. We weee also lucky to find a place to sit, there was a live band setting up and people weren't leaving. I finally went to the bar to get a drink, I think JR Phinickeys was very low staffed. We did see some food coming out but we didn't get served. We listened to the band for a while, they were excellent, then we left. We will have to stop in again where there isn't a special event happening. This is a good venue for live music

This is our go to in Monroe for lunch, dinner, casual hangout and drinks. Service is AMAZING. Todd won't leave a drink half empty or a single piece of trash on your table for more than 2.5 seconds and makes the best kamikaze and lemon drop shots you've ever had. Cassie, Darya, and Madison greet you with gorgeous smiles and delicious drinks (Maddie puts the icing on the cake with an amazing voice on karaoke Tuesdays). Buddah (Darren) has a natural warmth to his personality and can muddle a drink like you've never seen. Even though this is technically a bar, they put forward a LOT of effort with the food and have a delicious menu: wings (amazing), hot sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers built every way you can imagine, and even delicious wraps and salads. I almost forgot the STEAKS. The owner cares about his selection of meat and from the steaks to the Tuesday birria tacos, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The cooks care and it shows. The AC cranks, the 9 big screen tvs play every sport you could possibly want to watch and there's plenty of room for large parties.

We were looking for a quick place to run in and have a quick birthday drink but we were craving pickle backs. Oddly not every bar serves them. I tried Yelp, called some friends, and then stumbled into this PUB since it was the closest. We parked, put our masks on and walked in. We felt like we were from outer space or something. Walking in with masks... When no one in the bar was wearing one... And they were all staring at us. We tried to find a table to walk up to, but the tables are huge (seat 8 people) and 1 or 2 people were at each one. We weren't sure what we were supposed to do so we kept waking until we reached the other side and there was a small cocktail table next to the darts. It took a little while to get someone to take out drink order, so we played darts and just hung out. We were able to order Picklebacks which was nice, we played 2 rounds of darts and then headed out. I can see that this would be a nice local dive, great for watching a game, nothing fancy. Has some pool tables and some darts, lots of pull tabs and big TV screens

I love this frikkin place. Spam fries. Wanted some ridiculous Fair food without going to the Fair. So yum. I will not apologize.

WTF IS THIS???? Ordered a large supreme, got a phone call back that they were out of large pizza crusts, they can do smaller "personal" pizzas. We got these, literally burnt trash come on, this isn't food.

Suck it Patty W. Go back to libtardia. We love love love this place and Brit and Cassie are the best. I have never seen one single person like Britt or Cassie run a complete bar as efficiently and with as much excellent service as they do.

How about Breakfasts? And do you still have taco Tuesday

Not sure about breakfast. But I pass on taco Tuesday. Street taco size and they change a buck. There are better deals all around Monroe on Tuesday.

Our destination was the Route 2 Taproom, as it sounded interesting, and we've never been. We arrived, and it was what we were expecting, a very nice indoor seating area with quite a few tables, and a very nice outdoor patio. We chose the patio, which had a self service walk up bar. Just made it convenient and you didn't have to wait for someone to come to your table. My wife chose the fish and chips, which you'll see in the photo were very abundant, and cooked very nicely with a modest amount of fries, in my opinion, I would've liked more. The flavor was really good. I chose the chicken wings, which I was told I could pick multiple flavors, I chose the sweet chili, and the lemon pepper. Really like the sweet chili, the lemon pepper... well, was much too lemony. The beer selection here was quite extensive, we chose one of the lighter session IPAs, which was quite good. Overall, the staff was very friendly, engaging, and did a great job of taking care of everybody while we were there. I will definitely go back when I'm in the neighborhood. Thank you

The small issue I had was having the cheeses in my club not melted while the rest of the sandwich was warm and so tasteful. We will be back here again soon!!

The Fish Po' Boy was perfectly deep-fried--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. The tartar sauce was hands down the best I've ever had! They served it on the side instead of on the sandwich, which turned out to be perfect because we dunked every bite. It was so fresh, full of dill flavor, and absolutely delicious. The Bánh Mì had an amazing smoky flavor, and they even served it with a side of au jus for dipping, which was fantastic. Every dipping sauce we tried deserved five stars--the honey mustard, the burger sauce, and that incredible tartar sauce. What really sets this place apart is the kids' play area. It's huge and thoughtfully designed with video games, Pac-Man, a train table, and plenty of space for kids to play. It kept our kids happily entertained so we could actually relax and enjoy our meal, which is rare! If you're in the Lake Stevens area, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, amazing sauces, and one of the best family-friendly dining experiences we've had. We will absolutely be back!

After a while, someone dropped of menus and after 10 minutes of nothing, I went up to order drinks. I paid and sat back down. After 20 more minutes the server notice we had our drinks and she'd be back to take our order. 15 minutes later I caught her attention and she took our order. No one had shown up at the reserved table and it started to get busy and seating was getting difficult. I checked to see how much longer our order would be and another 20 minutes it came. The stew was tepid and awful and we never got to order another drink in that hour. The food drop was so abrupt and she was gone. Finally I told another person I wasn't going to eat the stew because how badly it tasted (I NEVER send back food and today was my first.)I had it. They took off the stew, we paid the remainder of the bill and have not gone back nor will I. Bad service was primary. Bad food secondary. Had anyone working there gave us the time of day or half, it could have easily been turned around. Not here. Not ever again for us. By the way, that reserved table in the best location for 12 or more??? It stayed empty. Three other parties could have come and went by then.

We only had to wait a few minutes - 5 minutes maybe - before they called us in to be seated. Once seated we were served water and then they began taking drink orders. Since we were there for Sunday Brunch we waited a bit for the stragglers to arrive before ordering our meals. Service in general was excellent. Very timely without hovering. I ordered their Double Bloody Mary, a drink they are well known for around these parts. It's a drink and a meal all in one! The Bloody Mary was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. Included, on skewers were two small biscuit sliders with egg, ham and cheese, three sausage meatballs, two large bacon wrapped potato chunks, a couple of pickled peppers, a chunk of apple, two blue cheese stuffed olives, a chunk of cheese, ham and salami. It also contained a big celery and carrot stick. It was supposed to have a dill pickle spear but I guess they forgot that or ran out. With it you get your choice of vodkas. I chose Tito's. This was all served in a quart size Mason Jar! Everyone else ordered other items and they all seemed to enjoy not only their drinks but their food as well. Salmon Scramble was really enjoyed by the son in law and stuffed French toast was great according to my wife. Several ordered the Breakfast Burrito in a Bowl and enjoyed it. They have an extensive breakfast menu available for brunch so a second visit will be in order. All in all it was a nice way to celebrate a birthday and eat brunch. Well worth a visit.
