Excellent Job Remodeling Our Kitchen!!…read more After receiving several recommendations, we hired JM Kitchen & Bath to completely remodel our kitchen and they did a wonderful job. We had a basic idea of what we wanted when we originally met with owner Jim Merkel and he gave us excellent design suggestions as well. Within a couple of days, Jim provided us with a detailed, itemized contract which was at a better price than a competitor we talked to. Our project leader was Aaron and he and Christopher were here on time every day. They and their team were all extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and constantly strived to ensure we were happy with the results. Jim and Aaron made several important recommendations along the way, which helped to ensure an outstanding result. All communication with Jim and his team was exceptional throughout the process. Our new kitchen turned out better than we expected and everyone that has seen it has loved how it looks. Our huge thanks to Jim, Aaron, Christopher and everyone involved in the project. We will definitely be calling JM Kitchen and Bath for future projects because we were thrilled with their professionalism, courtesy, experience, knowledge, attention to detail, speed of completion and the amazing final result. They deserve our highest recommendation! Rob & Mary R.

After searching for someone that would fix what we had and was not trying to sell us new cabinets, cabinet fronts, or painting etc., we found Furniture Medics in Maplewood, MO. When we called the office, Dinorah, handled and addressed our concerns. She was professional, kind and efficient. She forwarded an estimate via email. The technician they sent to our home was Tyler. He was professional, extremely caring, neat and clean and did an outstanding job. They revived and repaired our existing cabinets. He actually took two cabinet doors back to his shop for total refinishing due to the extensive damage from the previous owner's animals. He brought them back today and they blended in beautifully. We are extremely pleased and would recommend this company to take care of all your wood furniture refinishing/repairs needs. https://www.facebook.com/FurnitureMedicCorporate

Last time, we had our basement updated to a great bar and movie room. This time, we had Dan tackle our outdated fireplace, painting throughout the house, and two bathroom updates. Next time, if we decide to finish out the unfinished side of our basement or update our kitchen, we will definitely call Dan. In short, he can be counted on to do anything. He's responsive, friendly, and well priced. He may not be the least expensive, but he's certainly not the most expensive, and he and his crew do great work. They are respectful of your timelines and your space, and their final outcomes are impressive. I would recommend Dan for anything that needs doing. Dan and his crew are great!

My name is Kate Walter. We hired Dan Weber to finish most of our 2100 square foot basement,…read morestarting in April 2018. I can't recommend him enough and have already sent several of my close friends his way! When we bought our house 5 years ago, we immediately recognized that the untouched basement had unlimited potential, and started dreaming of all of the possibilities. Finally this spring, we got quotes from 3 different contractors. Dan's price was reasonable and definite, and he showed that he wanted the business and could do the job. I was nervous that the basement wouldn't live up to my high expectations, but we took the leap of faith. I am SO GLAD we did. The job proceeded on schedule and on budget (at least on Dan's side - I went a little overboard on some of my choices of materials). Dan's employees and subcontractors are all polite and professional. Especially Pete, who I think is both an incredible carpenter with unmatched workmanship and also just one of the nicest, most caring guys you will ever meet. Dan and Pete brought my vision of a little Mouse House/Harry Potter nook under the stairs to life based on Pinterest photos and our shared drawings. We also did a secret room with a trick bookcase. Everyone who sees these rooms now is beyond impressed and wants to know my contractor's phone number. As a detail-oriented person (and an attorney), I had tons of "punch lists" and questions along the way. Dan received every single one of them with a smile and a positive attitude, which was so reassuring and made the whole experience so pleasant for me. He even welcomed my lists as a good way for us to stay in communication and keep track of all of the details. Ultimately, the job was completed in July of 2018, and I am thrilled to say that my basement dreams came true, exceeding all of my high expectations. All of the workmanship is top quality - the lines are straight, the cabinets are perfectly aligned, the doors are level, the electrical and plumbing and drywalling is all done right. If I find anything that needs to be adjusted, I know Dan will handle it. At this point, the only thing left for me to do is pay off my home equity loan and then hire Dan to update my upstairs kitchen and bathrooms. I can't wait.

They took a lunch break and left each day by 3pm! One day, I saw that they were using my extension cord that they'd taken from my garage without asking! Umm bring your own equipment please or at least ask to borrow. Only one of them could speak broken English. They were scared of my dog so I HAD to be home while they were working. It was ridiculous. Their drywall skills were pathetic and tape and muddying looked like my preschool kids did it. When I would show Rick their shoddy work he would had them correct it but it was over and over and over. Their paint work was poor. Parts of the floor tile had to be removed and replaced. We found The ductwork was left unhooked up and ceiling tiles right over unfinished ductwork. I would not recommend and I will never use again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they hire non English speaking men who do do not know how to do interior construction work. Egress window leaked too

We received quotes from a dozen contractors and none of them could stick to our budget. Rick provided some solutions that would help us stay under budget and still have a really nice space. It is now the BEST space in the house. We will be calling on Rick again for our next renovation. We had a one-year-old at the time of renovation and it was in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Rick and his team were incredible with checking on us and letting us know in advance how our day might be disrupted by the work. They were considerate of sound levels when he was napping and so courteous of our home life, which we were still adjusting to ourselves. This showed us a lot about the character of Premier 1 Properties. They care about the quality of their work, but they also care about their customers and their experiences during renovations.
