We have had a wet basement since we moved into our new built house 12 years ago…read more The last rain storm produced approximately 25 gallons of water sucked up by my wet/dry vac. We called Foundation Recovery and luckily were put in contact with Michael Drebes who took care of us with a complete waterproof System. We had Ricky and crew working on the system install and they did a fantastic job of getting it done. Last night we had our first heavy rain and our basement is dry as a bone for the first time in 12 years. A big THANK YOU to Foundation Recovery for taking such good care of our situation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Never. I paid $30,000 to Foundation Recovery…read moreSystems to fix a flooding basement, and here I am months later; still flooded. Still leaking. Nothing was actually fixed. I trusted them because I saw their commercials everywhere and figured a company that big would know what they were doing. I was wrong. They came in, did their "assessment," and told me exactly what needed to be done. I paid for two walls to be repaired. When it was done, I thought the nightmare was finally over. It wasn't. The water still comes in at every edge; it's the exact same places they told me they were sealing. When I actually looked at what they'd done, it wasn't a real repair at all. It looked like plastic sheeting stapled up behind the wall. For $30,000. I am a senior, and I feel like I was taken advantage of and scammed by this company. Now there's mold growing in my basement because of their failed work. I have a tenant living there, and she is pregnant. Black mold is not something you can ignore; it's a real health risk for her and her baby. This wasn't a minor issue. This should have been fixed correctly the first time for that kind of money. I am so disappointed and honestly disgusted. I trusted a company with a name that sounds official and reliable, "Foundation Recovery Systems," and instead I got a sloppy, careless, incomplete job that left my home in worse shape than before, with a health hazard on top of it. Do not make the same mistake I did. Get someone else. Get a real inspection. Do not trust this company with your home or your money.

Total cost for two chairs is $460. Job took two weeks plus additional three days to correct an error on the material. As I internalize self reprimand for being lazy (I could have done it myself for three weeks and for slightly less considering I have tools), I admire their craftsmanship. Am just a little upset because I had to work on another pick-up week that was inconvenient for my already hectic schedule. Bring your chair and canvas for pricing - you are not obligated if you disagree with cost. I want to emphasize, upholstery was done with care and skill. The crew was helpful and friendly. Another important note, if you have your own fabric or leather to use, this can save you at least $70 per square yard.

We recently had 3 mid-century pieces recovered here. Tim and his team were incredibly easy to work…read morewith. He's friendly, honest and keeps his promises. He kept us in the loop about when he would get started and return our items and was genuinely interested in our satisfaction. Unlike another shop we called that couldn't even get to us for 3-4 months, this shop's lead time was only about a month. We already have our completed pieces back about two months before the other place could have started our project. He does make you buy fabric through him but having worked with an upholsterer before who let me source my own, I actually prefer Tim's method. Unless you're in the trade, you probably don't know how to judge whether you're picking something appropriate for your needs or not. Ordering through the shop, you know you're getting something these craftspeople are willing to stand behind. (Side note: He carries the same fabric line Joybird uses. I was able to match up several of my existing Joybird samples to his books and ended up using one of them on our project.) He will also pick up and deliver your pieces back home. There was one minor snafu when they were bringing one of the pieces into the house that resulted in some minor but very repairable damage. Tim brought his carpenter along with a bunch of tools to our house and fixed it on site. He clearly felt worse about this happening than we did. What matters most is that it was addressed in a timely fashion. It's nice to find someone in any trade who actually cares about doing good quality work. All of our pieces got new (and very needed) fabric, foam and padding. Two of the three got brand new legs and the carpenter had to add supports for them to the frames. The other piece got its original legs re-stained - which was badly needed. The shop retained original details as requested. When I am ready to have other pieces in my home done, I will gladly send them back here. My only "complaint" is that I'm still trying to adjust to my ratty old broken down furniture feeling so new. :)

Forty minutes later I arrive at the place and they were closed, even though their website says they are open on Thursdays. Could hardly see thru the glass with all the dirt. Quite frankly, after seeing where they were located and the condition of their store front, I was kind of glad they were closed. What kind of business says they are open for business but actually they are not.
