Returning to this restaurant and being attended to Estephanie is the best, hot food, fresh flavor and she is so friendly and hospitable that she actually came back every time for her. Because it makes the experience something pleasant, I would definitely recommend that you come to eat, I have returned many times with friends, with family, and she is always gentle and smiling. I got the steak bento box and upgraded the white rice to fried rice. It was amazing! Came w veggie tempura, California roll, three pieces of sashimi (tuna, white, salmon), salad, fried rice, steak cubes, miso soup. It was around $20 but it was a lot of food and the sushi tasted fresh. Also, it's nice to have a more buttery based fried rice than soy sauce, it's lighter. Staff was attentive and everything came quickly. Nice chill and quiet vibe. A very solid lunch spot. Parking lot is big so no prob w parking. read more

Came for lunch on a Monday. It's located in a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's clean and spacious inside. I had the sashimi lunch and added sushi rice. The salad was tasty and the miso soup was really comforting. I was surprised by how much fish was in the sashimi lunch and how great the quality is for less than $20! The salmon and white tuna were standouts, but everything was super fresh. The staff were very friendly and really appreciated that I enjoyed my meal. I will definitely be back! read more

Solid choice if you're in the area and craving sushi. Service is always friendly and quick. I've ordered takeout several times and it's always simple and ready when I arrive. I recently dined in and the service was just as fast! It's not huge but there are a few tables and a long bar with seats that wraps around the most of the dining space. I sat at the bar which is my seating preference anyhow. Overall it's not a fancy place but it seems relatively clean. There's plenty of parking spots too. If you're a resident in Alpharetta or a surrounding city like Roswell or Sandy springs we are lucky to have a ton of great sushi restaurants. This is one of my favorites. For the service, convenience, taste and price you really can't go wrong here. read more

Great local place for the mid-week, once-a-week sushi break. Kids bento box is the deal! For my picky little one, he loves the oranges. For my older son who actually eats, shrimp teriyaki is the way to go. And then, I get *all the sushi rolls*. I've had so many and like them all. The food is amazing. Loved the overall vibe and ambiance of the place. It's on an average price range, about $12-$14 per person. So this was my first time at JP Sushi and I can confidently say that this is the best Sushi place I've been to thus far! I found the shop off a quick Yelp search for sushi nearby (Roswell area) and this spot was recommended. First, I like the environment of the restaurant, it's like a combination of a family restaurant and a sports bar, but it's not chaotic. Jean & I decided to sit at the bar and were able to look at the chefs preparing all the different rolls. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, whenever we needed anything they quickly responded and make us feel welcomed. A1 service indeed. Now for the food, the menu was pretty diverse with the kind of sushi rolls they had, so it took me a while to decide what I would get. They also have another options for food (I.e chicken cutlets, rice bowls, noodles, etc) in case you want other things. Either way, I decided on the Long Horn roll and Jean got the Route 66 roll, both deep fried rolls. AMAZING! The quality of the roll was fresh and delicious. They fired them to perfection and gave us more of a portion then we expected. Also, while we were waiting, the waiter brought us some fired fish pieces, kind of like a appetizer, free of charge! Then afterwards, when she was clearing out dishes, she brought us a orange to share, kind like a dessert. I never knew oranges were what I needed after sushi, but now I know it is! We finally ate inside after only getting delivery the past couple years since moving here in 2020 and restricted ourselves because of the pandemic. They are a solid mid-level sushi joint with reasonable prices, and they're great if you want something better than supermarket sushi, but aren't up for a high-end/upscale experience. We were immediately surprised at how busy they were at such an early dinner hour on a Friday night. We arrived around 5 p.m. and were immediately seated, but the place was already filling up, and by the time we left, there were several parties waiting for tables. Seriously the best food from this type of cuisine. The service was impeccable, they take your drink and food order almost as soon as you are seated. If you ever forgot to order something, it's like the staff can sense it and come running to your table to accompany your request. And on top of everything, the meals are SO cheap and for SUCH large portions. I leave with leftovers every single time. Sometimes I forget them in the restaurant, and my waiter ran outside to bring them out to me, TWICE. 10/10! read more

This is our favorite Sushi!! There are 4 well know sushi restaurants near us but we always make the 20 minute drive to come here! The Staff is super friendly & very responsive & professional. The sushi Is ALWAYS fresh & AMAZING!! Our boys have sushi & the Steak Teriyaki Dinner & they rave about it. I highly recommend JP Sushi. From the outside, this place looks sketch as hell seeing as it's located in a run down strip mall. Once I entered, the lack of any other diners did not have me excited for the meal ahead, but I decided to brave it anyway as I was already here and my friend kept telling me how good it was. My friend highly recommended the bento box, but after realizing the dinner menu is more expensive than the lunch menu, we decided to split a few different items instead. We ordered the Sushi Deluxe which included 8 pcs of sashimi and and 8 pc California roll this came with miso soup and salad, but we subbed the miso soup for two salads for a $1 extra. We also got the Phoenix Roll and the JP Roll off the specialty menu. The salads came out first and they were very fresh produce topped with a delicious ginger dressing. I usually avoid ginger dressing like the plague, but this one was SO good. The waitress brought by two samplings of fried snapper, complimentary. One bite and I wish wee would've ordered a whole plate of this just WOW. The sushi came out next and it was all very fresh, very delectable, and good sized pieces. The presentation was a tad lacking, but the taste more than made up for it. The waitress brought out a cut orange with the check for an after meal treat and it was the perfect it to a delicious meal. The service was outstanding and my water cup never dipped below half full. It's true what they say, don't just a book by its cover. read more

Quality and price meet! I just ordered the sashimi lunch. Very generous portions. We have all had the experience of having very good sushi however you walk out of there with your wallet $50 later and barely full. Today I had very excellent miso soup generous portions of sashimi all very fresh for $13.95! This is definitely going to be my new go-to place. Very courteous staff. I will admit the location is a little strange to get in and out, plus maybe not the fanciest on the outside but incredible food and an incredible price. New fave! read more

Cannot say enough amazing things about our experience tonight! It was my dad and I's first daddy daughter date since my mom passed and they couldn't have made it more special. We sat at the bar and it's clear this place is great because it was slammed at 6 on a Wednesday. We sat at the bar and got amazing service everyone worked as a team. We loved watching them make sushi. We had a fried roll, 16 pieces of sashimi (best ever and he has visited Japan), gyoza, edamame, and soup and salad and we were shocked with how great the value was for the exceptional taste. They also gave us a cute little appetizer while we waited. (Although we were in and out in an hour!) I went here to get lunch from work after not being here for month and the waitress instantly called me by name. The quality of their sushi is divine. Their lunch deals are cheap.
