Words cannot express how happy I am with JP Seating's service. The price is very reasonable, the job was done quickly, and the quality is amazing. Johnny and his employees are very nice and professional throughout the entire project, and I'm glad I made the right decision to choose their service rather than wait for months for a new couch with the crazy supply chain issues right now. I'll recommend JP Seatings to all my friends and family.
It starts out with an emotional decision to alter the furniture that has been handed down to me after my parents died. Furniture well over 45 years old, wood hand turned in Denmark, with cushions and fabric that have seen much better days. I have never used a furniture reupholsterer, let alone, make a decision to alter furniture that was chosen by my parents. I needed to do right by them, and by us, as well as work within a budget that fits our half-full pockets. I turned to Yelp. I know Yelp gets a bad rap sometimes, people being ridiculous or disgruntled, but I rely on it heavily. I found several places near me, but JP Seating caught my eye. Nothing but great reviews that were honest, right down to the sketchy location. So don't be surprised when you roll up with your cherished items and are ready to hand them over to this establishment with a hopeful lump in your throat. Do it... drop them off and leave with a satisfied feeling, because you will be satisfied. Johnny, the owner, was incredibly responsive to my messages through Yelp. He responded to every question and provided me with a direct texting option to his phone. He quoted me a price after I told him what I wanted, without ever seeing the furniture. The wood for our furniture is timeless... it's beautiful despite being old. I was leery about dropping off the furniture, or him coming to pick it up and drop it off for 75.00 (also a great deal).... my husband recommended just bringing him the cushions. So ... i dropped off cushions for 2 chairs, one high back chair, one couch and 2 ottomans. When I got there, he and the seamstress Lina looked at the material and the design of the cushions. She took the time to listen to what I had hoped for, and said that she could duplicate it. As simple as that. I picked the fabric and it was a done deal. Half deposit is due at time of drop off, cash or check. I forgot my checkbook, so had to stop at the bank and pull out cash.... as I reluctantly handed it to Johnny, he said he would write me a receipt later, but for now.... here's a sticky note with the deposit written on it with his initials to solidify the deal. I drove away knowing that this must be the right decision..... it must, despite a sticky note that I stuck to a business card and stuck it in my wallet. The next morning, he already sent me photos of my ottomans redone and I was relieved, happy. My entire order was ready on FRIDAY.... that was 4 days after I dropped everything off. WHAT? I picked them up today and was so very excited to see the final product. Every piece fits perfectly, cushions cut to angle just like my old ones. The fit is perfect, despite not having the frames. This job was done with great care and concern for detail. Buttons, zippers, and ties were applied and fit exactly to measure. I am more than pleased and the price is unbeatable. He was far less than my other quotes, and it was done in a timely manner. I will refer them over and over again. Do not hesitate as you roll down Chico Avenue and end up in a back property numbered 2626... you will be happy that you did. A special thank you to Lina.... amazing work. You will be rewarded. Many thanks to Johnny for his ability to listen to my wishes and making them come true. sue
Found Johnny after speaking with over 6 other upholstery places. He was quick to answer all my questions and had the most reasonable pricing. My couch and loveseat were due to replace and after searching different furniture stores, I realized that my couch and loveseat wasn't worth replacing. So re-upholstering it was perfect. Luckily for me, Johnny is local so I was able to easily come in, check out fabrics, and get my things picked up and delivered. Johnny originally gave me a turn around time of 2 weeks. He came and picked up my pieces on Monday and by Wednesday sent me progress photos! I was able to get my things delivered this morning, far earlier than I had expected! It's now set up and I absolutely LOVE them. I loved them before and after 5 years, they just needed a little love. Johnny replaces the nail heads with new ones to accompany the new color & per our request packed out original casings for the cushions for me. Johnny was great to work with and worth every penny.
My husband and I have cats that wrecked our couch. We were between buying a new one and having our original couch reupholstered. I reached out to JP Seating first, for a quote. JP responded immediately and asked a few questions and gave us a quote. We had never gotten anything reupholstered, so I didn't know what was average price. Looking at new couches and receiving new quotes, JP Seating was BY FAR, the most reasonable AND he picks up and delivers! Once we told him we were ready, he sent his workers to pick it up THAT day! We just got our couch delivered back to us and it looks like a brand new couch. UNBELIEVABLE! And, it was faster than he quoted us. My husband and I could not be happier with his work, the professionalism by JP and his crew and just how easy he made everything. We are so happy to have OUR couch back in brand new condition!! Thank you JP, for doing such an amazing job!!!
Thank you for the amazing job you guys did on my piece!! Owner and workers suggested what they thought it was best for my sofa, and the greatest thing of all was that they did an affordable price! Great Job! Great price! Will recommend to anyone! Will come back very soon! Thank you!
So I was very skeptical about having my sofas getting reupholstered especially from a place that is given 5 stars and yet no warranty for the job they do. After window shopping for sofas (Ashley's Furniture, Living Spaces, Costco) I realized sofas are WAYYYY to expensive ($1,400+ too expensive), so I took a gamble and called this place up. The person never answered the phone, all my conversation was done through text (raised a red flag). I sent this person a picture of my two sofas (made of pleather that were horribly pealing. I called my sofas "vintage sofas" because they were that BAD!) The person gave me an estimate over the phone consisting of: $800.00 for pick up and delivery, brand new cushion and and color/style of my choosing from the samples the pick up and delivery man has for previews. So I took my chances and made the deal with the person. I have to say, I am glad I took the chance because my sofas look brand new . The downfall was that my family and I were left without sofas for 2 entire WEEKS! I never knew how much of an asset sofas are to a home. But overall they did great work. The couch is pretty firm now which means it should last longer and I rather have them that way then super soft sooner rather than later. I most definitely will recommend this place to anyone looking for "new and improved" sofas! For a fair price.
I'm super satisfied with my sofa chair! Got the quote online by Johnny and he answered almost immediately. He completely redid our vintage chair. Easy and fast to work with! Also friendly and professional.
WoW!! Johnny's work is fabulous! He transformed my huge sectional into new again. I can't speak highly enough of his professionalism and the quality of his work. I am so very pleased with the outcome and would definitely refer him as well as use his services again. Thanks Johnny for being so good at what you do!
Found JP seating on Yelp a few months back and I've been working closely with Johnny on a few cushions for our house. We gave him the measurements and some ideas of what we wanted and picked the fabric with his help. The cushions came out beautifully for our banquette bench and my daughter's dormer seat. She sits on it every day to read. We couldn't be happier. Johnny and JP Seating was super professional, easy to work with, excellent communication, and he goes above and beyond to make sure we're happy with what he delivers. If you need customized furniture or reupholstering JP Seating is the place to go. Thank you Johnny.
Similar to others I looked at a few companies when wanting to get custom cushions made for our kitchen hutch. It was been a full year since Johnny made these cushions for me and they have been used hard in the last year. Everything is still in PERFECT condition even despite the wear and tear from an extremely busy household. He couldn't have made the process easier for me and helped me measure to make sure I got the dimensions tight. I've told my family and friends about Johnny because on top of everything he couldn't be nicer. Stop your search now because you'll be in great hands with Johnny.
I am very happy with my sofas. Johnny, the owner, was extremely professional and helpful and helped me coordinate colors and what would go well with my design. The price is very fair! Before going elsewhere I suggest allowing Johnny to give you a quote. He made it all go smoothly and we got our sofas back in a week!
If you are looking for new seat cushions and upholstry, look no further than Johnny at JP Seating. You can tell that he and his team do excellent work from the big jobs and other satisfied clients in their reviews. However, I also have to note that his customer service is also excellent. He has a great memory, as we had asked for a quote some time back but could not get to his shop for a few months and when I finally did he remembered and had a record of the job I wanted him to do. He also honored the original quote. He made two seat cushions for a banquette seating bench. The seats and fabric were high quality but the cushion size I ordered turned out to be too thick (it was my miscalculation of the seat height). I brought back the cushions, explained the situation, and he resized the cushions to half the original thickness and reupholstered--free of charge! He has hundreds of fabric colors and texture combinations so come prepared with a few color selections in mind based on your home's decor or else you will spend quite a bit of time looking around. His shop may be a bit difficult to find the first time since it's tucked away but let him know you are coming first and he wil help guide you to it. He is responsive by phone call and text. His price is also very reasonable. So if you're looking for new custom seat cushions or wanting to revitalize that old sofa, check out JP Seating. I highly recommend them and I'll certainly be back!

I came across this business looking for a love seat sofa. Nothing from store would fit to match my existing style. Johnny from JP Seating Corp helped me get exactly what I was looking for. He patiently listened to my requests and answered all questions. As an effect I have my dream love-seat just the way I want and in only five days. If I only could, I would give him 6 stars. Thank you Johnny! read more

I had my barstools upholstered. They were quite tricky because the back had an odd shape but Jimmy did an excellent job at the most competitive price. read more

Completely thrilled with the work Johnny & his team did to restore and refresh a beloved family sectional. I left Johnny a message and he responded to me within 30 minutes. He put together a quote based on pictures and measurements I sent to him. Although he asked for two weeks, the sofa was done in 4 days for 1/5th of the price other places quoted! At first I was concerned the price and service were too good to be true, but I am glad to say the finished product is perfect including the pick up and delivery which was coordinated as well as free of charge hook to connect the sectional. I would highly recommend Johnny and his business. read more
