Oscar responded with clear and reasonable quotes and a 5-wk process time. sofas were picked up as scheduled. since we're trying to save some $ and matching the seat cushion, there were not too many choices of fabric to choose from. and It was hard/expensive to find trims that matched original design of the sofa. Oscar's staff explained and talked me into just doing simple piping along the base and around all the pillows. the day before delivery I called to confirm (I was really worried they won't make it for my party scheduled day after delivery), then again the morning of delivery and late afternoon. they finally delivered around 5pm on delivery day, 2hrs after their closing time. the sofas looked really nice and the simple piping actually enhanced the seat cushions. we really like it. Oscar was very responsive via text. the staffs were all very helpful throughout the process. I would have given them 5-stars if I didn't have to be so nervous the last 2 days worrying they wouldn't make it.

Went into Bernardo's shop here at Gomez Custom Upholstery and he talked over the colors and what he could do for cushioning and stitching. He made everything sound like not a problem. And it really wasn't for him as he really did do all the things I asked him to. Not only that, but he was adamant on having a same day turn around for me. Other places would be weeks. Truly a hard worker. Really good communication as he texted me on updates in a quick manner for material he has and he remembered everything needed to be done. Also worked with me on the time I could pick it up and was flexible. I had a minor issue with my chair when I took it back home and told Bernardo about it. The owner, Doro, is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had Doro quote us to reupholster our set of dining room chairs. He gave us a quote and an estimated timeframe which sounded good to us. We dropped off all our chairs the next day, expecting to pick them back up next week. Imagine our surprise when Doro called us later that SAME WEEK to tell us that all the chairs were done! We are very happy with the work. The chairs were about 30 years old and the upholstery on them was stained, dirty, and ragged and the cushioning was non-existent.
