We needed the driver and passenger car seats of our 22 year old car reupholstered as the leather had torn terribly and was falling apart, and we were unable to find seat covers that fit properly. We asked our mechanic who works on a lot of classic cars, and he recommended Frankco Upholstery, which I believe used to be located on the same street as our mechanic (San Bernadino Ave. in Covina). They are now located in Pomona - not too far from our home. They were able to repair the seats using a vinyl material with extra padding. He even met with us to show us the material to make sure we were happy with the color and he made sure to make it match as close as possible to the original shade. The end result was great! Not sure if the price we paid was higher or average for what we got, but I wanted to support this local business, so it's ok. The only thing is that this shop shares a space with another auto body shop, and the area is kind of sketchy, so just don't be surprised if you come here. read more

My goggle search lead me here and man ohh man pleased with their work. Future customer fosho! We needed the headliner on our 06 Accord done and they matched fabric perfectly! Looks brand new!!! I didnt think to take before pics but it's ok the now pics speak for themselves! Only thing that was holding up our headliner was fixtures like lights oh snap bar and sunroof manual knob. Let me start off by saying I own a 1990 Honda Accord. I bought this car new one month before my youngest son was born and that makes the car 25 years old and him as well. In that time I have racked up 392 thousand miles. Lucky for me I have a good mechanic to take care of her and he has done a wonderful job of it. So when I was deciding whether I wanted to get rid of the old gal or not I made the decision to keep her and fix her up to her old glory state. So starting last October I embarked on cosmetically making her look like a new car again. That included having all the little dings and dents taken out and repainted her in the original factory color. They did a great job (took about 2 weeks as they had to strip parts down to the bare metal) and from the outside she looks brand new. Now the interior really wasn't that bad but I thought why stop now, so I set off to find a good person to restore the inside like I had done to the outside. I got a few recommendations and did some research on Yelp to see if I could find a good shop. I found Frankco Fine Upholstery here at Yelp and thought I would get a quote. Ernesto greeted me (the owner) and we discussed what color and fabric would look good with the existing side panels and dash. He quoted me a reasonable price and I thought I would take a chance and go with him. He was also extremely busy and I thought that was a good sign too. So he told me to come back in two weeks and he would start on the car. He told me it would take about 5 days to reupholster the front and back seats and the time frame was about right. So when I returned to pick up the car I was amazed. He had done a wonderful job and the workmanship was excellent. I couldn't believe my eyes as everything looked perfect. Ernesto is a master at what he does and I can highly recommend him if you are thinking of getting any interior work done. I also had my windows re tinted at another shop, but that's another story and review for Yelp in the future. read more

I had my 67 El Camino interior done by these guys and their work was great!!! They did the seat for me a year ago at the recommendation of my mechanic in Glendora, so I took my Elco here to have them finish the interior. They did carpeting, the door panels, a new headliner, and custom built a cover for the back of the cab in the same vinyl as the headliner. Absolutely nailed the whole job!! When I showed up on the day he told me to he wasn't there and his employees had no idea I was supposed to show up. When I called him he told me he didn't know why he told me to come because "we're really busy."
