Extremely disappointing experience with JP Flooring. Run, Don't Walk Away. We hired them to extend and match our existing hardwood floors but were only shown a small handful of prefinished options that did not truly match. After installation, we later learned there were many post-finished/custom options available that should have been discussed from the beginning. Unfortunately, the installation quality was also very poor: * Damaged boards * Incorrect cuts * Damage to our original threshold board * Incomplete trim work around the fireplace * Uneven floor boards * Poor communication throughout the process We even paid for furniture moving, yet only one installer initially arrived, and I ended up helping move heavy furniture myself while recovering from triceps surgery. To JP Flooring's credit, the inspector they later sent acknowledged many of the problems. However, even the written repair summary initially left off one of the biggest unfinished items until we called it out ourselves. There are also uneven areas in the floor, and even JP Flooring's own reviewer stated they "may" settle over time because the baffles do not always line up properly, not exactly reassuring for a newly installed hardwood floor. At this point, we are still trying to get the situation corrected properly. We moved into our fisher home in 2022. Our carpet upstairs looked like it has been in our house for 15 years. Very warn in and looks like crap. The seams on the carpet have separated and the carpet looks warn down. We had paid for the upgraded paddling and the carpet looks horrible. I would never put this carpet in my home again. JP flooring has been nice on replacing other issues, but I would not recommend their carpeting. I hope they reach out to fix this issue. read more

I thought I should rewrite my review when calmer, so here is something more informative. We have been working with JP flooring for about 3 years. First we made our flooring selections about a year before our build started. Then we had a year of build and install of our flooring. Now, we have been in just over a year and are dealing with correcting issues with the flooring. There are some wonderful people at JP Flooring. Our sales person Sally was the first person we spoke with there. She has been wonderful the entire time, making choosing our flooring a great experience. Alicia works customer service - always kind and helpful, she helped us coordinate service visits and is always there to listen. And the team currently working in our house, led by Andre, are master craftsmen. They are talented and considerate. You will not find better. Unfortunately we have had not so good experiences too. Half of our first selections, made a year before the build, were never ordered by a JP Flooring employee. Fortunately we still had our paperwork (though some of our choices were no longer available) and were able to reorder. Rather than admit the mistake, however, an employee thought it better to blame our builder instead. I did not appreciate that. When our flooring was installed, the hardwood was scratched up during the sanding process. There are arcing scratches in patches all over the house, under the stain. And the stain was applied unevenly everywhere, leaving patches of darker and lighter color. We have shown this to many people, yet each time it's like JP Flooring had never heard of it before. And our shower was poorly installed. Patches of grout everywhere over the tile, as if it was used to wipe hands on then never cleaned. The drain was tile covered, but the tile was hanging off of it - damaged before we even moved in. The shower pan seemed sloped improperly - a puddle formed well before the drain. Final insult - A year after bringing these issues up, they wanted to present us a quote to fix their poor work! We are currently having the shower redone - The current installers are amazing. I'm sure it will be beautiful. And JP Flooring wants to set an appointment to come look at the wood floors (after my last review). I know they can be fixed, but I am tired of living in a construction zone. So in the end, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Yes, you may get lovely results. But, if you are unlucky, those results may take years and many headaches to arrive. read more

Worst flooring installation Ive seen. Builder used JP flooring and the LVP was purposefully cut on the seams that connect the flooring near edges for a quicker installation. Unfortunately this voids the warranty from the flooring manufacture because this is not supposed to be done. A few years later and I have gaps were my "water resistant" floor is no longer water resistant because they are not installed right. I called JP flooring and because it was over a year since the install, it was a year and a few months later they made me pay to have someone come out. When the flooring tech arrived all he did was apply glue and now another year later and its worse. I do not recommend this flooring company as they are lazy and cut corners. read more

My wife and I have now had flooring replaced in two of the rooms of our recently purchased 100 year old home. The whole process was great and JP Flooring could not have made it easier on us! We scheduled an appointment with a sales rep and brought in pictures of the rooms along with some of the things we had been looking at for inspiration. The salesman was able to find a variety of floors that matched what we were looking for and were within our budget. The install teams (two different teams for each job separated by about 6 months) were respectful of the property, knowledgeable in their field, and handled the fun surprises of a 100 year old home with a calm clarity that we both really appreciated. The first room was an LVP, which is still holding up great with no issues whatsoever. The most recent room was our kitchen which got some nice new tile. The team educated us on how to clean it and how long to wait before using anything abrasive so that the tile would last. Not knowing much about flooring, the guidance and advice was very appreciated. Overall, we are extremely happy with our floors from JP flooring, and look forward to continue working with them in the future for more projects! read more

We built our dream house in Long Cove 4 years ago. Since then, we've noticed stains appearing on our carpet runner. Instead of addressing the problem, JP Flooring refused to take responsibility despite multiple consultants who agree the staining is caused by hardwood topcoat. We also called to have carpet re stretched in another room & they would only do it for an additional free! Bottom line: they have a nice showroom with a variety of selections but that's where their competitive advantage ends. Servicing the customer & maintaining customer loyalty is not a priority. Drs. Bought a new house from Drees Homes (don't buy from them if you don't want to face any issues with your house and have a good customer support - that's not only me, 4 other neighbors that bought from them are having issues), anyways, JP Flooring is their contractor to install the flooring of the house and the tiles on the bathrooms. The job was so poorly done and all tiles are so uneven that it's frustrating. The caulking is cracking and coming off in less than 2 months of a new house!! The floor of the house squeaks in many places. They are redoing the shower floor for the fourth time and I don't even have expectations that it will be fixed. I had reached out via their website to start the process of getting an estimate. I was told that I needed to come in to see what products I would like before they send someone out to estimate - this seemed backwards to me. So, I went to their showroom in West Chester and it's a huge facility. I spoke with a lady there and there was confusion at first as to who I was supposed to work with because my original contact was off that day (which I knew before hand, but was told to come in anyways). Once that was squared away, the lady who worked with me was very nice. We spent about an hour or so looking at a couple products in various colors. We didn't stray very far from one little corner. I am curious what other products they have and would have been intrigued to just take a walk through, but it wasn't that type of showroom. Once I settled on two selections from my limited options, I took two large samples home to match coloring. These things were big - not just your small samples. The guy who came out to measure was very... Odd. He didn't seem to like what he was doing and talked negatively the entire time. I tried to keep it to small talk, but he did chat my ear off. He took the measurements and told me that I'd get a call back from the main store. And that was that. No dates or pricing were given to me at this point. This all took place within a week from my visit to the store and about a week and a half from my first email. I did receive a call from the store about a week later, but my plans had changed and I decided to go against getting the flooring replaced. The slowness of making contact, having to physically go to the store, then wait a week for a measurement, only to have to wait some more before finding out a price deterred me continuing this project. I had worked with another company a few days before reaching out to JP Flooring just to get a second quote and that company was out to my house and gave me a quote in less than 2 days. read more

Bought new MI home, picked a higher level of carpet for bedrooms and steps, after 8 months the carpet in master walk-in closet was wearing. I called JP Flooring, sent them picture of carpet, they were surprised how bad it looked. They replaced all the carpet that was the same in house so no dye lot issues. I was able to pick out a completely different style since I was worried about same problem. The installers very professional and did job quickly and well. Very happy with service. read more

Dave Fischer was nice but inefficient and Blake is just HORRIBLE. we had another quote that was more expensive but I wish we had gone with them instead. This last experience was beyond terrible! We have been customers of JP Flooring for many years. The initial install was done so bad, it had to be completely ripped out and started over. It took over 2 MONTHS of unanswered calls to get someone out to fix it costing us 3 extra days to take off work. To top it off, NOT ONE single call, text, or email to apology or see if the work was completed- just a charge to our credit card for the full amount WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION without even seeing a final invoice! I have never experienced such unapologetic bad service in my life! We had Pat as salesperson, Blake- VP of Operations have yet to even respond. Unbelievable. read more

We got a referral to JP Flooring from the cabinet company we used to remodel our kitchen. Our flooring installer told us he would be at our home to install between 10 and 11AM. He did not show. We called JP who responded by saying he was held up on another job, he would be there around 12:30. No show. Another call to JP, put on hold for ten minutes. We finally hung up, called again and left a message. Message returned half hour later, truck leaving at 1:00. At 1:25, installer called, on his way. 2:00 PM he shows up. Says, "The truth is, I overslept." Over. Slept. So we were lied to all day by those on the phone and their installer can't get up in the morning. Never again. read more

We had JP Flooring install our LVP in the entire lower level of our new house. We already have parts of the flooring coming up from the subfloor! We have left 3 voicemails over the past week and have not gotten a call back. Also, when you try to reach the operator the phone rings for a few minutes and directs you back to the mailbox again and again. After 10 minutes of this cycle today, I gave up. We WILL NOT be using JP Flooring again! After seeing all of the horrible reviews on google, I am thinking of reporting them to the BBB. read more
