I had an…read moreappointment booked for tomorrow morning, but received a text this morning that a stylist I didn't book with no longer works there. I said I didn't book with that stylist and received back the name of the stylist I did book with instead. I asked for the contact info of the stylist I had an appointment with and was not given any information. When I spoke with the owner, Miranda, she became belligerent and assumed my being upset at her unprofessional behavior, was loyalty to the stylist! While the stylist I saw was lovely, I don't know her! I just wanted to pay for her exceptional skills! Miranda was incredibly disrespectful and full of assumptions. I'm stunned and appalled by the behavior of this small business owner. I will never go to the salon again and will discourage others from doing so. I hope she has the life she deserves.

Everyone I interacted with was pleasant & polite. However, I had been growing my hair out for a year after a disastrous cut at a different salon and explained my fears to Ashley, the owner. We spoke for quite a bit and I felt like I was being listened to. She said she understood the trauma of a bad haircut and was very empathetic. Ashley suggested Brooke would be perfect to take care of my needs and give me the look I wanted. Fast forward 2 weeks to my appointment and I find out Ashley didn't book enough time for me to get a cut, color, & style (even though that's what I asked for), so I had to be fit in around the following appointment. In addition, Brooke was running late from the previous appointment so I got even less of my "allotted" time. It made me feel like an afterthought and not a valued customer. It's not a bad haircut, it's just not what I asked for in ANY way. I couldn't tell how wrong it was until the next day since she curled it. I have to fuss with it quite a lot to look presentable as it flips out in different directions if I don't use flat irons and lots of product to tame it. Now I have to wait at least 6 months to grow my hair out and roll the dice again at another salon. I don't understand how someone who cuts hair for a living didn't understand the basic concept of layers. Also, I don't know how the owner could've been so off target about her stylist's skill set. The overall feeling in this salon is clickish and if you're not a regular you're left out.
