I would not let anyone else do extensions on me sorry, not sorry... her pattern is perfect and she applies them and removes them without damaging hair... literally a hair genius. The salon carries the best products on the market too and the staff is all trained on each product line so they can make EDUCATED suggestions on what you should use for your hair type, etc. Oh! AND...they are the only place locally that carries NEUMI SKIN (Holy hellfire you all need this stuff...it's amazing lifts, tones, reduces appearance of wrinkles, pore size...greatest stuff ever AND THEY HAVE IT! Neither the hairdresser nor the owner reached out to me to see if I was okay. Side note: The day after this happened, I thankfully found a wonderful hairdresser in Clarkston with a referral from a friend Anyway, after I didn't immediately cancel my upcoming appointments here, they had the poor receptionist (who is very sweet) call to say I couldn't return. Ummm... did you really think I was coming back? I had no intention of returning. She also added in the same phone call (with coaching from the background) that "oh, and [the hairdresser] is independent". My guess is that the owner told her to say this. It is just so awful and disappointing how they handled the whole situation. All they ever did after scalding me was try to cover their butts.

I made two attempts to request a…read morerefund (since I paid in cash), and not only was it denied but I was threatened to not file a complaint with the BBB. Although it does not state it anywhere on their website or when you book an appointment, Jess shrieked into the phone repeatedly that they only offer re-do's not refunds. Seeing as how there is nothing to be re-done since Emma cut off 6 inches of hair instead of 2 AND Jess threatened me with her police officer husband to not come back there, a re-do doesn't seem feasible. When I brought up the BBB, which every consumer has a right to do, Jess threatened to take me to small claims court. So not only did her stylist ruin my hair and they got paid in full plus a $40 tip still, but I got left a fake 1 star review at my own business, and then threatened with small claims court. Update: after posting my review of my actual experience here, the owner went and left a 1 star review on MY business page. This isn't how being a small business owner works! How embarrassing and shameful. My hair was left un-fixable after my appointment with Emma today. I left in tears and can't even bring myself to look at myself in the mirror now. The color was completely different than what was discussed, but that's fixable. What is breaking my heart is realizing how much was chopped off and butchered. What was only supposed to be 2 inches turned into half of my hair being cut off and ruining over 3 years of growth I had been working on. When it reached the time for Emma to do the hair cut, I had my eyes closed tight to keep myself from crying in the salon over how disappointing my color turned out; I thought she was just adding layers but she maliciously cut off several more inches. I had nothing to say to her and just wanted to pay and leave. The owner kept insisting I could come back and they would try to fix it but there is no fixing this. My confidence is crushed and my gorgeous hair is gone. The lack of professionalism from Emma was appalling. She lacked basic customer service skills for a high end salon; maybe if she checked in while she was cutting my hair, I would still have my hair left!
