I HATE leaving bad reviews but I'M ABSOLUTELY PISSED, STEAMED & IRATE!!!! STUPID B!TCH can't cut…read morehair!!! SO UPSET & CRYING...Can't even look at myself in the mirror!!! Like a lot of people on here, the stylist Marcella did NOT follow my clear directions!!: NEEDED a Faded/Blended cut from a 2 at the base to a 4 on top. BLENDED!!! NOT HARD!! SIMPLE HAIRCUT!!! I mentioned that MULTIPLE times to Marcella because I am a new client and NEEDED her to understand EXACTLY EXACTLY what I need. I EVER SHOWED HER A FUKIN PICTURE FROM MULTIPLE ANGLES OF EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. My hair is MY IDENTITY!!! Gave me a FUKCING butch MMA grunt military cut. NOOOOO!!! I've had other stylists go a little longer just in case and then we can ALWAYS take more off. I don't want to feel like a fukcing jock ass male. Unfortunately, she was in a rush like who gives fukc about this degenerate I have a more important client next getting a more expensive style so f the cheap ass for under $50. She cut a single length on the sides that was too short and did not blend with the top. NOOOOO!!!! It was my mom's birthday too so she fukced that up as well!!! Perhaps the problem is that this studio books appointments in too short of blocks which doesn't leave time for quality and attention. DON'T FUGK WITH MY HAIR IF YOU'RE GOING TO RUSH!!! I am paying OUTSTANDING money for a QUALITY haircut. Do I have to physically fight your next client just to ensure I get the necessary time and day for a good haircut?!?!? It absolutely should not come to that. I'M SO PISSED!! In addition to demanding my money back and filing a dispute on my charges, I am at the precipice of filing a freakin lawsuit for emotional distress. I am dealing with a very recent onset hearing issue and have a VERY IMPORTANT engagement coming up where I want and demand to look FANTASTIC. Now, I feel like complete shit! No way should this be acceptable, ESPECIALLY at a boutique EXPENSIVE hair salon where QUALITY IS DEMANDED!!! The studio policy clearly had her rushed to attend to the next client who was probably more important because she had a more expensive hair job with cut, color, and otherwise. I just had a simple short haircut that should have been easily handled if she had followed my directions but she either didn't care or was otherwise too inattentive to give me the cut that I needed. I had to go back to have somebody else blend it in and was forced to have it cut shorter to blend in the top. Just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! If the stylist has a concern or unsure, please communicate!!!! This is especially true for new clients like myself. SOOOO PISSED because I thought that if I paid a lot for a supposedly prestigious hair salon, I would get top notch service that I paid for but sadly no. In addition to losing myself as a repeat customer, you lost the business of my family and friends. We are all dealing with a LOT of Stress in our lives. We should be able to go to a hair salon and RELAX!!! Nobody should have to be on pins and needles praying and hoping that they get the exact cut that they describe and showed when paying near top dollar. I pray that the studio takes immediate action to ensure that this never happens to another client.

I recently visited the Sabrina Salon in Rochester Hills, located in the same plaza as Trader Joe's,…read moreoff Walton and Adams. I was disappointed with my experience. My mother, who had recently been discharged from the hospital, needed hair care. I accompanied her to the salon and inquired about the cost of a hair color and layering service. The stylist quoted me $100 and estimated the service would take an hour and a half. When I returned to pick up my mother, the stylist was still working on her hair and asked for permission to dry her hair, which I granted. However, I was surprised to find that we were charged $170, excluding tip. When I questioned the discrepancy, the stylist explained that the additional cost was for the haircut, dye and drying. My mother, who prefers to avoid confrontation, felt uncomfortable discussing the issue, so we paid the amount. Given my mother's hair care needs, I believe the additional charge was excessive. I am frustrated with the experience and feel that the pricing was not transparent. I intend to file a formal complaint with the Michigan Better Business Bureau and write a letter to the state of Michigan regarding the salon's pricing practices. I am disappointed in the change in service and pricing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

I had been going there for 4 months. The whole purpose was to slowly lighten my hair a little. They…read moresaid you can't just color it lighter, you need to lighten the hair. The first visit I told them my hair goes darker than the shade so to please not put a dark dye on my roots. They also applied a glaze (I think that's what they called it) that would lighten my hair one tone in just a few areas. They said it wouldn't damage my hair. They ignored my knowledge of my own hair and dyed it too dark and it felt really dry and damaged once it dried They were nice enough to give me a conditioning treatment the next day to fix the dryness. I kept going back and on one occasion I went home with dye still in my hair because it wasn't properly rinsed. Stained my coat and had to jump in the shower to rinse it off. The last visit I asked my same stylist if we could go a bit lighter. She told me she would do 40% of the lighter tone. After my appointment I was horrified to see I had a very visible stained forehead and then noticed my roots were darker than the rest of my hair . I texted her the next morning and she said she would color over it with a lighter color. Huh? They told me initially that you can't do that, plus it's recommended you wait to color over color at least 2-4 weeks. So I wasn't feeling comfortable with doing that. Of course it was right before my birthday so I was pretty upset. I asked for a refund. The stylist was always very kind and professional which is why I kept going back despite all the incidents that were upsetting. The reason I am not going back and never recommending this place is because one of the owners was absolutely horrible when I talked to her on the phone. She displayed the opposite of serenity. Horrible customer service, lack of kindness, rude and didn't let me talk. Not to mention she didn't apologize once for dying my hair too dark. Instead she yelled at me for texting the stylist. And added that I wasn't charged enough for the services. Really? So I didn't pay enough for all the aggravation and mistakes? Being an owner it would be a good idea to be professional, kind, try to make up for the mistake and at the very least have some good manners and apologize for what happened. If you want a serene experience I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if something goes wrong. Which is when customer service really counts. If you don't mind careless mistakes, wrong hair color and unreturned calls, this place is for you!
