He removed the front tires to show that the pads were not at the 3mm mark, as was indicated by the Jiffy Lube personnel. The amount of brake pads left on my car was indistinguishable from the new brake pads I bought. My rotors were also not in need of replacement. I phoned the store manager and shared my findings with him. He asked if I could wait while he talked to the person who originally inspected my brakes. He apologized and said that it was "an honest mistake". I suggested that maybe they put someone else's information into my file, but he did not think that was the case. I don't see how this is an "honest mistake". Until this incident, I was a contented Jiffy Lube customer. Now, I will have to find yet another service center for the recommended maintenance for my car. I do have a comparison photo of the old/new brake pads. See saved photos.

Upon working on the vehicle they found that a bolt was broken and needed to be replaced in order to complete the task. They "tried" to find the bolt but were unsuccessful, so they instructed my wife (who was 7 months pregnant at the time) to track down the bolt that they could not find. Crazy huh? Fortunately my wife was able to track down the bolt and bring it to them.. Upon return of the vehicle it was misfiring and running rough, of note, THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!! I was extremely upset with this so I took it to get a second opinion of the work. The results were unbelievable. One of the parts that I was billed for the purchase of and labor to install was, in fact, NOT INSTALLED. I returned to Gordon to tell them of my findings.. They indeed had the part they charged me for and did not install.. After some talking to the manager on duty they agreed to install the part.. Makes sense right? The service and integrity of this place is questionable AT BEST. I have NEVER been more displeased with any type of automotive service in my life. DO NOT BE ANOTHER VICTIM!!
