I don't know about THIS location.. but if you order online, their customer service is atrocious. The shipping company JD Hunt held my piece for two weeks with no info. I contacted Joybird multiple times and only received canned answers. No one would investigate. When they the shipping co finally contacted me with a randomly selected time, I was unable to be home for the 4 hour window. Trying to work with that company was undoable. Joybird customer service said there was nothing they can do... so after 6 weeks of waiting for my ottoman - I had to cancel. Joybird needs to step up and take responsibility for their partners. Save hours of time and choose a reputable company. The site reviews are fake. They should be shut down by the BBB. Horrible business with no customer service or honesty. Forget their logistics. Once a piece is out the door, they have no way to track it. Once it did show up 2 months after the expected date, it was missing half of the sectional. I took the day off to receive it too. After calling, texting and emailing support with no luck, they begrudgingly offered $90 back to cover what was paid for shipping, yet still only half a couch. "Must be on a different truck, we have no way to know for sure" ... They didn't document the compensation during our call and it was never processed. Fast forward a month, the one half of the couch squeaks with every move. It was all finally delivered but we are very disappointed in the quality, logistics and disaster of a support team. Unfortunately my experience with Joybird has been completely horrible. I understand the Corona Virus is impacting everyone and perhaps Joybird's staffing is therefore under additional stress, however the entire ordering process has been plagued from start to finish. I ordered two nights stands, a dresser and bed in June 2020. The dresser and nights stands arrived in July however one night stand was completely damaged and had to be replaced. The replacement came in August. I am overall very happy with these pieces and the damage may have occurred out of their hands. I didn't get any build updates on the bed until I inquired in August. Only after that did construction and assembly start, so I assume the order was forgotten. The bed finally arrived at the end of August after a 3-4 week delay. When it arrived it could not be assembled because the head board was missing threaded screws. I waited an additional month for a certified Joybird repair company to fix the bed. After it was repaired the side board did not match up with the food or headboard - there is a 2 cm step off on each end. I am currently waiting to hear about from Joybird about a replacement (6 days and counting). If not I will return the bed, and I find it unlikely to ever order from them in the future. I spent the majority of my gifted wedding money on my joybird sofa. The most expensive thing I have ever purchased for my home. I was so excited to have something top quality. Their options are amazing! Reality is that every day I sit on a 4k dollar sofa with deep regret. The cushions are tufted and after a very shirt time the covers began coming off of the buttons. I have never seen any couch do that! The cushions slide off constantly. I have had a good experience with their customer service but feel I should never have even had to contact them. Chelsea sofa was ordered on 1/14/2020 and came on 2/21/20 with legs defective. The delivery service told us to just reject delivery and Joybird just had the couch redelivered the next week, telling us they would send out a repair service. Joybird told us that the repair service would come with new parts to fix defective legs. On 3/13/20 repair service came to take pictures and send to Joybird (no repair occurred and not contact from Joybird). I had to submit a claim with my credit card and that is when I received a call from a customer service manager. I had the replacement parts mailed to my house around 4/3/20, but no word of repair service. 3 months later, I still have a defective sofa in my house. They are currently offering me a $265 refund from a $2,200 purchase and a $200 gift card so I can spend more money at Joybird. I am also being pressured by Joybird to make a decision within a day to either take their offer or have the couch collected for return! Stay away! My story is similar to most other reviews. Don't believe their website and positive reviews, they are only selecting the positive ones! My couch (sectional) had a slightly broken leg and also didn't fit together correctly. I lived with it for awhile, and decided to return. They offered to send a new couch, ok fine. After 2 months, the furniture delivery comes and there was a completely different middle section to the couch (different style and size) and 4 wrong legs. Really? I ended up keeping the middle section of the old couch and taking the new end pieces. Still don't fit together but have decided to take their offer of a small refund and run since I don't think they will be in business much longer. It's super comfortable seems to be made well. I've had it for 6 months so far. The delivery people were fine. I purchased the Elliot sectional sofa a few months ago, now that I'm unemployed and home I've been on this sofa quite a bit. That said, this sofa is not worth the price. It is at best a glorified IKEA sofa at 3 times the price. The ottoman is loud and squeaky, the seat cushions constantly slide forward and need adjustment. This sofa is a looker and everyone says how nice it looks...but when it's time to perform this product falls short. I cannot even begin to explain how sad, angry, disappointed I am regarding my experience with Joybird, er...POS-garbage-hasbeen La-Z-Boy Furniture - let's just call it for what it is...once La-Z-Boy brought this company it went in the toilet. Don't waste your time or money. The biggest issue is the absolute lack of accountability and customer service. Our furniture was delivered without the holes drilled in the wood for proper assembly. I tried to call customer service during the delivery for support, but there is no one who ever picks up the phone, or calls you back. NO dial zero for the operator or please hold for someone, NOTHING! Delivery suggested they take it back with them and get it touch with CS regarding next steps. After a few days, someone from an island off a coast somewhere called and said, "My appologies, someone from our claims department will call you in a few days..." a week later...I get an email saying they can either refund me or they can redeliver and then have a "medic" comeout and fix the issue. Essentially, no one who actually gave AF that I spent way too much money on a bed or the fact that my new mattress was laying on the floor...ever called or offered anything other than a complete heartache for me. Despite my head and heart telling me to get the full refund, I decide to give them a chance to redeliver my bed - I spent way to much time and money on this project, ordering and selecting fabric and dropping $2600.00 is enough for one to stay committeed. Joybird offered to deliver and have some bs furniture "medic" come out and put the bed together. Delievery was scheduled and confirmed. The day before delivery, I get ANOTHER MF EMAIL, not a call...AN EMAIL. Stating that the delivery warehouse cannot locate my piece and delivery is cancelled, another someone will call soon. GRRRRRR Five days later, no call, no nothing. At this point, I am done. I'll give my money to Room and Board, or Article or CB2 or West Elm...I'll give my money to Overstock and Wayfair companies that don't JACK their customers around. It pains me to write this review. I think I have written maybe two negative reviews in my entire life.... and one of them was for United airlines. I ordered a set of chair cushions from Joybird on July 13th. They were estimated to be delivered between August 9-15. I understand this is estimated. So when I called on August 15th to find out what the progress of the order was (I checked the online tracker and saw nothing had changed in a week or so), I was told they would ship sometime between August 19 and 23. The woman I spoke on the phone with was very nice. I felt fine knowing they would arrive a week after the estimated date. When I had not received a shipping notification by this morning, I called in to customer service again to check the status. I was told the items are expected to ship hopefully by the end of next week, possibly the week after. That gives me a date of August 29 - September 5. What worries me here are two things 1. That date will continue to be pushed back, as that seems to be the pattern 2. The actual ship date is drastically different from the estimated ship date. Thinking from a business perspective, and looking at other reviews, wouldn't it be better to give a more accurate estimated ship date, or even tack on an extra week or two to give the team breathing room. No one is going to be upset if their order turns up a week or two earlier than expected! But orders coming in weeks past the estimated ship date will surely have the opposite effect. I have yet to see the quality of the pieces as it has not arrived yet. But I am hoping the patient waiting will be well worth it. I may also add that as a gesture to clients whose pieces are delayed for quite some time, you may offer expedited shipping? That kind of customer service often turns a would be non returning, bad reviewing client into a may return, "hey this happened, it wasn't great, but their customer service response was awesome" reviewing client. They failed in pretty much every way possible. For a company that sells themselves on their ongoing updates into the production process, they have the worst communication I've ever seen from a retailer. ***** The updates are a facade. They don't correlate with actual progress and are simply a cheap marketing ploy to make you feel engaged. The photos included of the production team are boiler plate, and have zero to do with your item or order. ***** I ordered a media console in the beginning of March, with a delivery window of mid-May. The window came and went with zero communication or update from Joybird. Crickets. I called their customer service and was told there was a material delay and that the delivery would be shifted back to mid-June. Not awesome, but I'd already waited 2.5 months. It was odd that I had to call them to find out what was going on, though. Next month same story. The new window passes and there's zero communication or update AGAIN. I called customer service - again - and they have no idea what's up. No movement on the order in their system. They said they needed to call their production team in Mexico and would get back to me in 1-2 days. I received an email 2 days later that said the order needs to be pushed back again to AUGUST. That's almost 6 months after initial order date. To "make up" for the delay they offered a $75 gift card, where a previous customer service rep stated that we'd receive, at minimum, a $250 refund when it was pushed back to June. I cancelled my order, and was fully refunded within a few days. So there's one thing they were able to do in a timely manner! Updated Review from June 14, 2019: Ah Joybird.... Everything started out great. We would be moving soon and wanted to replace our worn out sofa-bed with something a little more stylish, comfortable and durable. Joybird seemed to have what we wanted... good lucking mid-century style furniture at prices that wouldn't throw us deeper into debt. But best of all, the had an easy to access showroom where we could try the merchandise and talk to human beings. We visited the recently-opened Albee Sq location in Brooklyn and were attended by a really nice, helpful and knowledgeable sales representative. He advised us on the size and style, the materials and even explained the process from purchase to delivery. After this, we were more than happy to place an order for "lucky turquoise"-colored Hughes Reversible Sectional Sofa. After all, we were about to move and had decided to get rid of our old rickety couch. We wanted a bright-colored and comfortable new sofa for our new living room. What could possibly go wrong?! We knew, and expected, that it would be around 6 to 8 weeks before the sofa would even be on its way to NYC since it had to be custom-built in Mexico and then moved cross-country by train. We made the purchase at the end of March. About two months after our purchase, end of May, we got the notification that our sofa would ship and were told that JB Hunt would be handling our delivery. But first, the sofa needed to arrive in their offices and then they would contact us to schedule a delivery. Another week and a half went by. That's when things started to take a bad turn... First, JB Hunt, was inflexible about their delivery window. Our building, which is a co-op, only allows deliveries of large-sized furniture to happen between 9 am and 5 pm, so that deliveries do not block common areas like the elevators and stairs during times when residents are leaving for work/school. JB Hunt insisted on saying the could come at any time between 8 am and 6 pm, and that it wasn't up for discussion (Wow, really?). Then, when we asked JB Hunt if they could provide a COI (Certificiate of Insurance, something a lot of co-op buildings require) they also refused to provide one that included the building's name and address (without that information the management company that manages the building considers the COI to be essentially useless). Contractors and movers regularly include that information in their COIs. Ok, so, we weren't getting our sofa that week. We reached out to Joybird to ask that they convince the contractors to do a pretty simple thing and get the sofa delivered or replace the contractors. Joybird told us they would identify another company willing to complete the appropriate paperwork and deliver. By the first week of June, we'd still hadn't received any news about a potential delivery date. So we reached out to Joybird's customer service. 48 hours later were were told that they were contacting their Shipping dept and would let us know. A week went by... and then the following week we contacted customer service again and were told that they were STILL waiting on news from their Shipping dept. Is their shipping department in another continent? Or in the same office building? Finally, I decided to take reach out to JB Hunt on my own and ask them for the delivery history of our sofa. A very nice customer service person there informed that another company had picked the couch up over a week ago. So, using my order # and zip code, I looked up said company and used their tracking system to see if they had our sofa. They did, and they'd had it for a week. So instead of continuing the back and forth with Joybird we called the shipping company ourselves, coordinated completing a COI and then scheduled a delivery date. That's what it took. While we were already making progress, we got an update from Joybird saying that our sofa had arrived at the shipping company's warehouse (yeah, like a week ago!) in NJ and that they would contact us to schedule delivery. Finally, yesterday (June 13, 2019) our sofa was delivered. Victory! But wait... ...because this is Joybird.... everything couldn't possibly just have ended well. Once unwrapped and assembled we noticed the sofa came with a dark stain on one arm and with the ottoman, for the reversible sectional portion, missing a leg. Joybird customer service has promised to reimburse us for shipping, send us the missing leg, and is supposedly scheduling an appointment for someone to come spot-clean it. I hope they keep their word.... I sense that the people who work there mean well and are doing their best but as an operation, they are a disaster. Joybird makes some nice looking furniture, and the custom-built options are great. However, after going through this ordeal with them, I can't in good faith recommend them to anyone. Do your research before purchasing furniture, and don't let appearances fool you. read more

Waited 2 months for our chair, and received the wrong legs for it. Waited four days for customer service to respond to emails or voicemails, only to be told we weren't putting the legs on correctly. After sending photos, we finally convinced them they'd sent us the sofa legs (the spare leg was a clue). They're supposedly sending replacement legs, but I'll believe it when I see them, probably in another 2 months. What fun! I'll be shopping at Article for furniture from now on. Everything was bad - bad service, horrible quality. Ordered a sofa online. Got an email that it was shipped, but the tracking number didn't work for 2 weeks. After I emailed, I was told that it hadn't arrived to the warehouse yet. Anyway, finally got it, except it was horrible quality. The bottoms of the cushions are cheap black fabric, so you can't flip the cushions. The seams were crooked. The bottom of the sofa was stapled on. I emailed requesting a return, and they ignored me for a week. I pestered, and they said they would set up a return. I had to pester even more to get the return done. So disappointed and feeling as though this company has utterly no respect for its customers. We had one successful transaction with Joybird last fall (hence the one star) and received our two chairs without incident. We then ordered a desk and have had a nightmare experience since. Ordered in April, promised delivery by late June, no "updates" and no delivery yet. Their "supplier" either is sending them inferior wood, or is having serious delays with their wood; hard to tell which, as the story keeps changing. Absolutely NO attempt on their part to reach out to me and let me know that there was a problem and that things were delayed! I had to contact them every time. Original completion date was missed. Secondary completion date was missed. I've just been given a third (late August) but when I really questioned the ahem... "manager" he admitted that this was a projected date based upon another projected date from the supplier sending their factory (in "North America" BTW (meaning Mexico!) the wood. I couldn't believe he gave me another date with such unsubstantiated information. I will be speaking with his supervisor tomorrow and cancelling my order but not until I let her know what a poor excuse for a business she works for and letting her know that I will be going on every review website I can find to tell potential customers the REAL STORY. Note: I guess I could see myself improving the rating by a star if the furniture is good when it gets to me but so far, I don't really have anything in hand to review, despite ordering it almost 2 months ago. -- I ordered an ottoman in early June and as of a few minutes ago, have been informed by customer service that it's still not done being built. This was my second call to them after they missed the first shipping date (early July) and it's been about a month since they stopped updating the Build Progress on their website. They were supposed to finish the build and ship the ottoman by July 9th. For a custom couch, I could understand a longer-than-normal waiting time. But for an ottoman (whose only customization is picking between two leathers), I'm not convinced it's reasonable. Especially when their own website said upon order that it would ship out in 4 weeks. I'm waiting to hear back from the production team to see when (if ever) they plan on finishing the build. If it's looking like another several weeks, you can bet I'll be canceling my order. A Joybird ottoman isn't so special that I'm willing to wait 3 months for it. They assure me that they'll issue a partial refund once I receive the ottoman (presumably based on just how late it is) but I have my hesitations on how long it would take to get that refund, if their furniture delays are of any indication. To be continued. All I can say for anyone considering this company is that so far, it's not worth it. If you don't need furniture within 3 months of ordering it and have no emotional investment in what you spend a lot of money on, sure, Joybird might be great for you. Won't sell me replacement cushions I bought a Joybird sofa 4 years ago from a furniture store in Portland. Had never heard of the company but looked at website and planned to order more in the future. Contacted them a few years later about replacement cushions and they said they could sell me inserts. I figure mine had a bit more life left in them so kept using. Just contacted them recently and now can only get replacement cushions with cover at $200 a piece, Ok with that. But when I tried to order, they said I could not because I didn't order originally from their site and I had to go back to original store. I mentioned that what if store was no longer in business since so many businesses have closed due to the pandemic? They said I would just never be able to replace my cushions. Manager told me that all warranties are void if you purchase from a third party? I did not ask for any warranty coverage. I did not complain about quality. I simply wanted to replace cushions so I could keep using my couch comfortably. Going to keep pursuing. I've loved my sofa. But I would never purchase another one if this is how they treat customers. There's one reviewer who speculates that all the bad reviews for Joybird are from "the competition." My story is indeed very similar to others', not because we're shills for "the competition" but because Joybird is so consistently incompetent and dishonest. Ordered chair. Waited. Waited. Waited. Called customer service, was told they would call me back. Never did. Now repeat this cycle ten times over four weeks and that will approximate my experience. Every call resulted in either a promise that it would be shipped a specific day (it wasn't) or a commitment that they would call me back with an update (they didn't). That they continue to take money for furniture they absolutely cannot deliver in any kind of reasonable shape or time outright fraud, in my non-legal opinion. We ordered several items of furniture for our new apartment in The Keys. When we first ordered 2 beds, 1 sofa bed, and 2 chairs, we were told they could be ordered and held until we wanted delivery. That proved to be false and when we wanted delivery, the 2 chairs were seriously back-ordered. So, we eliminated the chairs and took delivery of the rest. The two Hughes beds are good since they are bed frames; we ordered mattresses from Tuft & Needle. The one thing I do not like is the slats that are rough. When I make the bed and tuck in the sheets or blanket, I always catch my nails. They should provide a smooth insert of some kind but do not. Then the sofabed, which is also the Hughes, looks good but is extremely uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. No one has used the sofabed to sleep on yet, but for us to use it as a sofa, we are very dissatisfied. That is the risk of ordering online and what seems to be a fair price is not so good when you want to replace it so quickly. To compare, we ordered our first Tuft & Needle mattress several years ago for another apartment, ordered two more for our primary residence, and then two more for our apartment in The Keys. Their service and return policy have been phenomenal. Joybird is just a good price for fairly decent furniture. I wasn't going to write this review until I read someone accusing the competition of writing negative reviews. Here goes... I've purchased 3 items from Joybird... -The first was a sofa about 3 years ago. Within a few months the springs started to squeak. Customer service was fantastic. A furniture tech came over and took care of it. Since then, I've had several buttons pop off when I have the sofa cleaned but didn't ask Joybird to fix it. I just turned the cushion over for now. -Second purchase was a chair. I waited 2 months for it to be built and delivered...it looked beautiful. My 17-year old daughter (120 pounds) wanted to be the first to sit in the chair. She sat down (didn't jump, wasn't rough) and the frame broke and she landed on the floor. Read that correctly....a leg didn't break...the FRAME broke. That chair went back. -Third purchase was a coffee table. Looks beautiful. It arrived with a few small scratches. I complained and Joybird offered to send a tech over but I decided to live with it. I've had the table for about 6 months and it scratches so easily that it's not usable. I can run my nail very lightly over the finish and get a scratch. Last month, we had a small sized EMPTY laundry basket on the table and my daughter moved it about 6 inches with her foot. The table has about 8 new, long scratches. I complained and Joybird sent a tech over. He said he could sand the scratches out but because of the finish, the only way to prevent scratches is to buy a piece of glass. Long story short...I sent it back. I love their furniture and I've never had a problem with customer service, but their stuff is hit or miss in terms of quality. read more

My ordering and delivery experience two years ago was generally fine, as was the overall initial customer service, BUT... We are around two years into our tenure with our Hughes sofa and we HATE it. It looks decent enough but the comfort level is miserable and the overall quality is poor. Specifically, the cushions are literally a block of cheap, poorly cut foam and are jammed into the sofa (because they're slightly oversized) so that their edges are now folding over onto each other due to lack of space, which just looks terrible. Worse, from day one the cushions have had ZERO structural support, such that it hurts my wife's back to sit on the couch. I recently contacted Joybird customer service to ask for advice/help and was given a very bland "unfortunately there's nothing we can do." I wasn't asking for a refund of any kind, just some help with making my sofa functionally usable, but they had no interest in keeping me as a future customer. Your loss Lamebird! We're now shopping for a new couch that is actually worth the money, and a few other pieces of new furniture, and will never purchase anything from this company again. I'm torn between 1 star and 2 because in the end, I chickened out and canceled my order. I ordered 2 chairs back in early April. They were scheduled to be delivered last week. I hadn't heard anything and the nifty "build update" online showed no movement (but let's be honest, it never showed any progress). Concerned, I called them. When I asked for a status they said (basically), "oops we meant to call you but we forgot - we have supply chain issues and don't have the wood we need; your new delivery date is mid-July." That would make it a 16 week lead time for 2 lousy accent chairs. But hey! They did offer me a company credit if I called them back when my stuff was delivered. Ya know, so I could order more furniture that probably won't be delivered properly. So after thinking about it for a couple of days and reading other horror stories online, I decided to cancel the order. I explained to the woman why I was cancelling and she expressed absolutely no interest and didn't apologize or anything. We purchased a modern style entertainment cabinet. We will never buy from this company again. When it was delivered, we had to supply our own washers because two of the pre-drilled holes were incorrectly drilled. Additionally, there was no stop for the cabinet doors so they simply closed into the cabinet and were not flush. The drawers did not close well, had strings hanging from the inside on the pulls that were very odd and had no functions, and there was a strange sticky substance on the underside of the inside of the cabinet. There were other issues, and Joybird did replace the unit after we filed a complaint. But all of this was unacceptable for the price that was paid. Lastly, they use a 3rd party for delivery who really didn't know anything about the product. Not recommended! read more

Update 11/4/19: 3-6 business days for Jb delivery department to submit a return to the delivery service. Also, 3-7 business days for the delivery service to call with a date and time. I'm currently stuck with an unraveling sofa and wobbly chair and a missing ottoman. ________________________________________________ Ordered a couch, chair, and ottoman on 9/11/19 and barely received the couch and chair on 11/1/19. Joybird swapped labels on the ottoman before shipping so the delivery guys had another item in the box. Never received the ottoman. Jb wanted to file an investigation which could take another 2 weeks. The couch, seam is unraveling and the wood frame came with dings and scratches. The chair is unbalanced and very wobbly. 7 weeks and $2500 later and everything is a mess. Called for a full return and refund. They said now I have to wait up to 10 business days for them to come pickup their disfigured furniture. 1. Waste of time 2. Frustrated 3. Lack of quality control 4. Lack of information was provided during building process. 5. CS was not empathetic to our frustrations with this huge inconvenience this has caused during the holidays. read more

Update: it's been about six weeks and the front frame of one wing of our sectional just collapsed. We have the Briar sectional with bumper. We're pretty pissed because despite claiming online that it's a hardwood frame, the frame of this couch actually appears to be plywood. As I said in my original review, we wanted to invest in something that would last a while and clearly this ain't it. We've reached out to their warranty team about having it replaced and I'll update as we see how they handle it and how quickly the issue is resolved. Assuming the replacement ships quickly and we don't have to request a full refund, we also just bought new sofa legs from a third party - we suspect that the tall thin legs on this couch aren't enough to support the weight of the wings as they shift against each other. We bought thicker sturdier legs that will hopefully prevent this from happening again. Original review: My boyfriend and I just bought our first couch from Joybird - it arrived last week and we love it. We were definitely hesitant to buy from them after seeing all the reviews about issues with inaccurate manufacturing and delayed delivery here, but we really wanted a quality sectional that was comfortable, stylish, and would last a while. We visited the showroom in Brooklyn (if it's possible for you, highly recommend this), really liked what we saw and sat on, and since they were having a sale we decided to give it a shot. We ordered online, but through the showroom with the help of one of their sales reps. While the website didn't auto-update with my delivery status, it was always really easy to get in touch with customer service who could give me an accurate update and get the answers to any questions I had. Responses were always prompt and helpful. We ordered on July 16th and the couch was in our home by August 22nd - no missing or mismatched pieces. The delivery team said they were from La-Z-Boy, so I wonder if they are now fully integrated into the supply chain and that's resolved the issues with manufacturing and delivery. My partner and I have been long-time Joybird customers, and we were so excited to order the Hughes sofa for our new home. It arrived after 3 months which is pretty typical nowadays for delivery times. When it arrived, the yellow sofa was completely stained in parts with a blue color. Also, the legs didn't fit onto the couch properly, so we had the delivery men bring it back to the warehouse. After WEEKS of emailing Joybird, we finally got in touch with customer service. Their solution was to have that same, stained and broken sofa sent back to us for a "professional cleaning and installation." What is this - IKEA? We have spent several thousands of dollars so sending us back the same couch just to have it cleaned was simply not good enough. After several more weeks of back and forth, we decided to just get a refund and buy a couch at West Elm. The best part? The customer service rep FORGOT to send us our $4,000 refund. We emailed him and he admitted he forgot to send us our refund! Had we not followed up, we never would have received our money back. We are so disappointed. Going to use our money at West Elm! Gave up trying to use website because of persistent pop up ads asking for my email to enter a contest to win $1000 in Joybird credit. Maybe try asking AFTER I'm able to scroll for more than 2 seconds so I can pick something?? Sorry but I'd rather not sign up for more spam until I at least know if I'm interested in the product. They are impossible to reach if you have a problem. They came to deliver my stuff -- I'd paid for white glove service -- and then they said they couldn't actually unpack the stuff because construction was happening inside the house (but not that would impact their safety or anything). I'm trying to get back the money I paid for white glove but it is basically impossible to reach anyone. I tried emailing and got a bounceback saying they don't answer it. I tried the webform and it produced an error. Now I've been on hold forever (after it previously hung up on me). If they could get their customer service together I'd considering ordering from them again but man, it's brutal! (still on hold...) read more

I was excited to receive my new bed and love the look of it. After only a few weeks, the lower railing legs broke due to poor design. The legs which support the bed are not positioned properly to hold the weight of the bed, let alone anyone on it. When I notified Customer Service, they graciously sent me a replacement board and legs to what was considered a "custom order", and the replacement took twice as long to deliver than the original bed itself. After over 2 months of waiting for the replacement part, I was sent the wrong one. My new replacement part is now back in the production queue with zero sense of urgency to resolve this ongoing issue immediately. Customer Service is extremely slow to reply via email and when you call and ask to speak with someone in management, they conveniently are "not available" and will not return your calls. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be part of this companies core values. I would think twice before considering a purchase from this company. read more

When you can get a hold of someone, the customer service is nice. Our new couch is nice. But PLEASE just save yourself the hassle. We have had soooo many problems in the process and it is impossible to get in touch with customer service. If you order a couch and love it and everything goes perfect that is great. We love the couch we finally ended up with. But the amount of drama that it took to get our couch was crazy!!! The first couch that we bought we did not like so we decided to exchange it. This is where all the problems started. It took 3 weeks to connect the orders with customer service and make sure we could exchange. Then we waited 3 months for the new couch to be built. Once it was complete and the delivery was scheduled, I contacted customer service to make sure my delivery/exchange were connected. They confirmed. Then when the exchange happened, the delivery company said they couldn't take our exchanged couch because they weren't connected so we sent back the new couch that took 3 months to build. Rescheduling the delivery/exchange AGAIN took another 3 weeks. Then the delivery company couldn't fit the new couch in the elevator and they refused to carry it up to our 6th floor apartment. They said they could only carry it to the 3rd floor!! So we carried it the rest of the way from 3rd to 6th floor. Then we couldn't fit it through our door and unscrewed the arm to fit it in. Why the responsibility of figuring out how to get our couch into our apartment fell on us and NOT the delivery company blows my mind. Basically all a big nightmare. Save yourself and just buy from another company. read more

Furniture is nice enough but be prepared to have long waits and extremely poor service on delivery. We ordered multiple pieces at once. If we had tried one item first we would have shopped elsewhere. First delivery had damage and the delivery guys rushed in and out and even installed the legs on the chair incorrectly! It was eventually replaced and the replacement also had legs incorrectly installed. At the same time we had a couch delivered, I had to make the delivery guys reinstall the legs. Had to show them the website photos to demonstrate how bad the install was. There answer was they are just delivery guys they get no training on installation and had never even seen a picture of the couch!! Also delivered a credenza,... It's damaged and a month later what should be a simple repair, broken drawer fronts, hasn't been fixed. The way it was packed there is no way this is a "delivery issue" it clearly left the factory like this. So much for quality control. Luckily they have a no questions asked return policy. I might end up using it on the credenza.. read more

We ordered our Chelsea sofa in Royale Forest on August 21st and received it exactly on time, on September 22nd. It was delivered with all parts and the Lazyboy workers assembled it for us. Unfortunately, the area where the middle front leg screws into was stripped on the inside, and so that leg was really wobbly. We contacted customer service and then panicked after stumbling on these Yelp reviews and reading everyone's horror stories. After contacting customer service via the website, I was able to get a hold of a person by calling the support number on our delivery confirmation email, 323-736-5400. This is different from the regular customer service line. The woman was very nice and let me know that I would hear from customer service within 48 hours. We did! What a relief. We heard from customer service a few times - to let us know that they were looking for a technician in our area and again to confirm the repair appointment. They were able to get someone out to us within one week which seemed very reasonable. He was timely, professional, friendly, and he repaired the leg in about one hour. He did mention that it is possible that the wood used to construct the frame is a softer wood and that that is why it had this issue. He said it is possible that this would happen again, but that it is fixable. He said he would write a detailed report for Joybird for our warranty. Although this situation was not ideal, we were happy with how quickly Joybird responded and resolved the issue. We would purchase from Joybird again. The couch is not only gorgeous but COMFORTABLE and sturdy with nice stitching. Also, it helped us realize that the floors in our newly purchased 95 year old home are not level - we had to move the couch to another spot in the room in order to get all 6 legs (almost) flush with the floor. Felt dots on one leg solved the issue. This is something to think about if you live in an old home. We were thankful we could move it to another wall, but had the floor in that spot been unlevel too, this couch might not work for us. read more
