Good time with good sights! A very reasonable amount of effort over the course of 2 hours. Thanks Logan and Dash for the tour!

We said we were t late, we saw them leave but then he rushed to the bathroom. So after some back and forth, the boss told them to halt and for the attendant to take us to the group. Boss went above and beyond for us. Mind you, I also booked for wrong date and the boss changed it for us as there were no refunds and we were only driving through Oregon. It was a nice adventure.

You'll definitely have to work together to peddling the bike even though its only a 1-2% grade. There are 2 take off points so be aware of which tour you booked else you may miss your reservation. The two launch points are about a 24 minute drive apart. Bay city takes off: 5400 Hayes Oyster Drive, Bay City Oregon Wheeler takes off: Hemlock Ave and Highway 101, Wheeler Oregon On your tour, you'll have 2 guides - one in front and one in back. They will help direct traffic and keep the pace (sort of). Otherwise just enjoy the view and peddling through nature for 2 hours. Complaint: I was distraught that you will sign a terms & conditions form not once but TWICE with one statement that says "I will not intentionally bump other Railriders" and yet our car was full steam rammed into by the car behind us which ejected the back seats and ended up leaving all of my family with various bruises (legs and arms mostly). Luckily there were no serious injuries, but it could have turned out really bad. Our guides were very apologetic and took the time to check on us but there was nary a warning given to the car behind us who continued to banter us the whole 4 miles back to our starting point - at one point, even blaming us for the incident "they deserved to get hit because they didn't put up their fists". Yo, do you even drive bro? Do you willingly rear-end cars for fun? While we took the blunt of the force, his crash was very much also felt in different intensities through to the front (~4 more cars). Keeping a safe distance is very key - make that VERY CLEAR to the car behind you. I strongly believe that ORR needs to change their rules from "love taps and pushes are okay" to "keep a one car distance. if you happen to love tap or push the car in front, please slow down."

However, on this particular day, there was a special cruise up the river that allowed dogs. It was actually part of a larger corgi dog event that was happening at the RV park we were staying at. When we found out about it, we signed up. Our little pup loved the boat ride, kinda like a dog who likes to stick his head out the window, ears blowing back, when you're driving down the road. I had a firm grip on her though, and she wasn't going anywhere. You get to see a lot of great wildlife and beautiful wild land scenery.

What an excellent way to end my summer break!…read more One Thursday morning, my partner and I sat in the living room with our coffee and began discussing adventures we could have before returning to school. He suggested Jerry's Rogue Jets in Oregon, recalling how much he enjoyed it as a child. So, we looked up the Wilderness Whitewater Tour and found four tickets available for the next day (Friday) at 11:30. He booked a hotel, and we drove to Oregon that Thursday afternoon. The tour, which departed from the Port of Gold Beach, took us through the scenic Rogue River Canyon. As we rode, the captain shared fascinating stories about the river's history and wildlife. He executed many fun, quick turns and dips that splashed us with water. Luckily, we were sitting in the back, so we didn't get as soaked as those in the front. Our first stop was in Agness, where we switched boats and were entertained by Captain John. We also had to wear safety vests during this second part of the tour. This time, we got thoroughly drenched, but I still enjoyed it. I just wish I had brought an extra set of clothes. Our daughters, who were sitting in the middle, complained that they didn't get wet enough, even though their hair and clothes were soaked. I guess they were hoping to be completely drenched. After returning to Agness, it was time for a meal at Cougar Lane Lodge. It was convenient that food and drinks were included in the price! While alcohol cost extra, we didn't feel like having cocktails or beer. The lunch was surprisingly excellent! The adult meal had a variety of choices, and my partner opted for the BBQ plate, which included ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, along with a muffin, beans, and coleslaw. Delicious! I chose the cheeseburger with fries, which was also tasty. I regretted not selecting the BBQ plate, but I was satisfied with my burger. Fortunately, my partner couldn't finish his meal, so I was able to have a few bites of the tender meat. After our hour-long lunch, we returned to the boat. This time, the captain did fewer quick turns and dips, but it was still enjoyable! He continued to share information about the area, himself, and the animals in the wilderness until we made it back to the Port of Gold Beach. It was an incredible boat ride!

I attended this forest retreat expecting a peaceful and grounding nature experience as advertised…read more Instead, I encountered a situation that felt manipulative, invasive, and lacking in transparency. At no point in the online description was nudity mentioned -- yet it became part of the experience in a way that was not clearly disclosed or consented to ahead of time. While some may be comfortable with this level of vulnerability in a private setting, I was not. The way it was introduced made me feel unprepared, pressured, and ultimately violated in my sense of safety. There were subtle and not-so-subtle ways boundaries were pushed. Emotional openness was encouraged in ways that felt more like a setup for crossing personal lines, not true healing. If you're looking for a safe, professional, and clearly guided wellness retreat -- this was not it. I'm writing this review to warn others who are vulnerable or sensitive: this experience may not be what it appears online. I left feeling shaken, exposed, and misled. I would never recommend this to someone seeking genuine healing, connection, or nature-based wellness. Please do your research, ask detailed questions, and trust your gut. A peaceful retreat should never involve unexpected nudity, blurred boundaries, or unspoken intentions. I hope this review saves at least one person from the confusion and pain I experienced.
