Rude phone customer service!! Asking a question about price. The response I get was "bring it to me and I tell you price." Then hangs up.

The dress is 3 layers, 2 outer layers are tool without a hem and an interior layer of polyester. We went in and my daughter was fitted, the woman and I decided on 3 inches off the bottom. This was 5 minutes of the woman's time. Then she wrote her notes about the 3 inches on a 3 ply receipt and told me I should pick the dress up in a week, even told me why I shouldn't wait any later that next week to pick it up because they would be closing the shop and going on vacation. I agreed to pick it up on the next Tuesday as she said. She took my name and number, then handed me the yellow carbon copy of the receipt. I did not ask her how much she estimated the work to be, she did not mention, in the slightest, how much she would charge. I assumed the work would probably be under $50. It is a child's dress and there wasn't much work to be done on it. So, the next Tuesday comes and I head in to pick up the dress. I am told the price would be $99.95! WHAT?!?! You can't be serious, the dress doesn't even cost that much! I ask to talk to the woman and she unapologetically told me that the dress is like a wedding dress, so it costs a lot and that she wrote the price on the receipt. (But of course said absolutely nothing about the estimated cost) I'm sorry but 2 layers of tool with no hem and a cheap polyester interior layer could not take more than an hour to do and that is pushing it. On top of the fact that it is a CHILD'S dress! It is not even close to the size of an adult wedding dress. No sense is made. All the same, I paid her and left. When I got home, I had my daughter try it on. The work was terrible! The tool layers were cut jagged and parts are longer than others. On top of that, the tool wasn't cut to the correct length nor finished with clean cuts, very jagged and poorly done. How was this work worth 100 dollars. I had fix the tool layers myself, it was still dragging the ground. Poor workmanship and poor business practices. I would never recommend this establishment.

Or I tried to. He interrupted me as I was starting to ask my questions and he said "Just bring them down here so I can look at them." Trying not to be irritated, I laughed it off and said, "okay, I will be there shortly!" and then I get hung up on. I get here and the open sign is on, so I walk up to the door and pull on it but it's locked. So I look down and see a "closed, please come again." I go back to my car and call to see why. "I had to make an emergency run, I should be back in about 15 minutes, does that work?" I said, "I guess it's going to have to, but I did call and say I was going to be here so it's a little ridiculous that you're not here." He says, "I left a sign, I should be back at 3, did you see my closed sign?" To which I responded with, "no, as your open sign is lit." He says, "no no no, the sign below it that says I'll be back at 3:00." I'm not going to sit here and argue over professionalism, so I stated "I will be going elsewhere. This is ridiculous that your open sign is lit, you knew you'd have a potential customer, and you're incredibly unprofessional." Why would I want to pay someone who can't even switch off the open sign if it was actually an emergency run? Thanks for wasting my gas and my time.
