Most of the alterations I have gotten have been fairly good…read more This time I took my 2 duty pants in, to get button hole stitches in the bottom of the pants and a string tie inserted into the bottom. I brought in one of my already altered pants to give them a guide. When I dropped off my pants, it was only the husband working, I told him specifically what I wanted, but if I had not gone in the next day to make sure the message was relayed it would have been wrong. The wife dry cleaned my pants which I did not ask for. When I explained what I had wanted you could see she was upset at her husband. I apologize for not waiting until she came back, to explain to her what I wanted. But I did again specifically explain what I wanted and yeah, I've included pictures. Let's just say I did not get what I paid for. I paid $36 dollars for something that I could of did for less. I'm not bashing this place but if you do go here make sure you tell them several times what you specifically want. And honestly I'm not mad or upset, I am the kind of person that believes: If you don't do it right the first time, why take it back to you to fix it the second time! I'll just take it to someone else!

I wanna start this off by saying that Edith is a very sweet woman, I had my wedding dress altered…read moreby her. It looks really amazing, I'm only giving three stars because I felt there was no communication with her outside of being physically in the shop. I made an appointment with her for July 11th. At my first appointment, we talked about what I wanted done hemming in the front, added bustle, and a modesty panel behind my corset back, and she also recommended what she would like to do to my dress to make it fit better. After she had put all the pins in she gave me my receipt and said to come back in three weeks on August 1st and it would be finished. She messaged me on July 30th asking me to come on the 2nd instead. I agreed. Now when I had went three weeks later, I expected the dress to be done since she never told me otherwise. Only the hemming on the bottom of the dress was done, but then a she started to pin the underside of my dress for my bustles again. My mom was with me at the appointment, she asked her if she needed to redo the pinning for the bustles she said yes. After this, she said to come back in one week on August 10th and it'll be done. Again. We were on our way (mind you my mom lives an hour away, and I live 30 minutes away), we hit some traffic and I messaged to her let her know we'd be a few minutes late. She didn't respond until we were outside her building, she said the dress wasn't done because she needed to order the bustles and they were arriving until Thursday August 13th. She did apologize for not letting us know, but at this point we were already there. She said it would be done on Saturday August 15th, this time it was done and it looked amazing. She did give us a discount for the inconvenience of coming to Visalia since she didn't let us know the dress was not done on August 10th. She was apologetic for that, and a really sweet woman. I would just say to try and over communicate with her on your end and ask plenty of questions so pickups and what you're needing done is clear.

I get here and the open sign is on, so I walk up to the door and pull on it but it's locked. So I look down and see a "closed, please come again." I go back to my car and call to see why. "I had to make an emergency run, I should be back in about 15 minutes, does that work?" I said, "I guess it's going to have to, but I did call and say I was going to be here so it's a little ridiculous that you're not here." He says, "I left a sign, I should be back at 3, did you see my closed sign?" To which I responded with, "no, as your open sign is lit." He says, "no no no, the sign below it that says I'll be back at 3:00." I'm not going to sit here and argue over professionalism, so I stated "I will be going elsewhere. This is ridiculous that your open sign is lit, you knew you'd have a potential customer, and you're incredibly unprofessional."
