Solid heroes there. Very nice staff. They also have nice size 14" heroes. Place was nice and clean.

    Pork roll, egg and cheese!

Great experience! I was looking for a place to take an out of state friend for pork roll, egg and cheese. THIS WAS IT! Best sandwiches ever! I've already been back twice and I'm hooked! The service was quick and extremely friendly!

Jovos Deli for a simple chicken salad on a roll with lettuce and tomato 11.95 . That takes greed to a whole new level

You really can't screw up the chicken salad so the quality was there but the quantity wasn't. Their sandwiches used to be enough for two now it's not even enough for one I won't be back.

Great little family owned Italian deli. Good sandwiches, subs, breakfast options. Italian subs, wraps, Italian hot dogs, Taylor Ham egg cheese on English muffin is the best around. Take out or eat at one of the 5 tables. All good!

Excellent Food and Excellent Service. Absolutely one of the better Deli's in the area. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. + Food is consistent and well priced. + Staff is friendly and attentive. - None.

I'm honestly not sure what was more impressive to me; the soups or the sandwiches. I guess I'll start with their namesake, the soup. First time I came here I tried the French onion, since what better 'simple' soup to judge a soup place by, right? Excellent, right out of the gate - utterly bursting with caramelized onion flavor, and just a hint of brandy, I believe? I later came back and tried the Thai coconut and "thanksgiving dinner" soups, with each one seriously cramming a ton of flavor into each bite. Never thought I'd be blown away by soup, of all things, but here we are. The sandwiches are just as good as the soups were, and are priced really fairly for the quality and portion you get. Most of their sandwiches are made on their homemade "pesto bread", which may be the moistest, softest bread I've had in years. If you can't decide, they seem to run specials frequently, where you can get a sandwich & cup of soup. The only 'negative' I can think of is that since sandwiches are made to order, it can take ~10-15 mins to get sandwiches and the like, but this isn't a McDonalds, so I feel like that's expected. Besides, your patience is greatly rewarded. Skip the chain food; there's some really inspired, friendly folks here cranking out some of the best stuff in town. Well worth a visit, imo!

I…read moreordered on the app ahead of time and scheduled for a later time than when I ordered which would be 6:30 PM, I immediately got a text that it would be 6:38 PM. OK not a problem. 6:38 passed and we waited 10minutes more, they said they needed to cook the food. They were slammed so this alone is not the reason for the follow up. We understand that. Most of the drinks were nearly empty with two of them being completely empty, the drink station hadn't been wiped down in a while, and there were no lids for the cups to take out that I had to go and ask. It seemed like they may not have enough supplies because when the one worker gave me the two lids for our drink so we could leave the other worker said that's just for us so I was a little surprised at that because how were we supposed to leave with the drinks? I don't blame the workers. They were all working very hard, but it's poorly managed then or understaffed or both. I think I might've seen a manager a woman with short hair that walked through behind the counter once. But the manager should be pitching in to help if they are understaffed. They left out a lot of things on our order. I should've checked before I left, didn't realize that that was necessary here, but it is. I did notice several people before me going back for missing pita bread. I did not realize I was also missing. That alone not a big deal because we ordered pita chips so we had that. Both salads contained grilled chicken and both were extremely oversalted compared to the last few times and the pita chips were so over salted that we had to dust them off just to eat them. Both salads were missing the pickled red onions, and it was on the order slip. My salad had no dressing and it was supposed to have Greek dressing again on the slip. We did eat the majority of the bowls, not all of it like usual because of the salt. It was so heavy. It was biting the inside of your mouth so we had to dust everything off and I just stopped eating it after a while. That much salt is a turn off even when you love salty food this was just biting and sharp, extreme salt and we could physically brush it off the pita chips in heavy amounts. Unfortunately, the chicken had absorbed a lot of it so it was just an extremely salty bite of chicken. The only reason why I'm still going back is, this is one out of 4-5 visits and if it indeed goes back to being good, that's it. But another visit or two like this and we won't be back.

Mind you I despise eating Greek as we travel into NYC 5 boroughs and have eaten at some incredible Greek establishments. The restaurant decor is clean and styled as if you are in Greece. Very light and pleasant. Service was excellent and I ordered the large Greek salad to split with wife, Gyro platter for myself and wife ordered Avgolemono soup. Salad came very fast, romaine lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, feta and olives which were above average and pepperoncini peppers. Salad was a solid 9! In season tomatoes would've clearly brought up to a 10. Gyro platter was served with fries, rice or potatoes which I chose and simply delicious. Also came with a small bed of salad and tzatziki sauce. An unbelievable portion size and quality another solid 9. Serving size I would give an 11! Wife's soup was also delicious and between half a salad and cup of soup, she couldn't finish and had to take home. A wonderful dining experience and this will be on our lists of stops. A true gem and the staff made you feel welcome and wanted! Can't wait to go back!!
