Another place we've passed countless times and never went in, until today. We were a bit concerned when walking in and the place was empty at 4pm on a Saturday. But looking at the fixins bar (Chipotle-esque), everything appeared fresh and clean so we chalked it up to a lull in business and freezing weather. I opted for a gyro bowl, my wife got a bowl with falafel. The lady at the counter really didn't speak English well at all, it took a few tries to get our order in. Once it was in she did tell us to sit and she'd bring it to us. As we sat we looked around, the place is cool. Decorated nice with a few tables. Lots of evil eyes all over. The food came out, nice and hot, good sized servings. We were pleasantly surprised as our expectations were low. For our taste they went a bit too aggressive with the feta and red onions. We decided to give this place a try before going to Costco. When we got here, there were a couple of tables occupied but they left soon after and we were the only ones left. We came here about an hour prior to closing. We ordered the following: Trio of spreads, which came with Santorini hummus, spicy feta, tzatziki and 2 sliced pitas. Hubs thought that the 3 spreads were all similar and tasted the same. If anything, they should've made the texture all different. Overall, there was nothing outstanding about it. Beef and lamb platter, which was served with fries, pita, tzatziki, tomatoes, red onions and parsley. We thought this order was big and we couldn't believe that this was only for one person. The 3 of us couldn't finish it. Hubs thought that the salad was nice and clean and the fries were good while hot. We thought that the meat was a little dry. Thank goodness, there was plenty of tzatziki to dip the meat. Lemon potatoes- this was very salty and difficult to eat. Chicken and rice soup- we didn't like this. The soup was very salty. Hubs thought that the chicken was from the gyro or shawarma and that it was obviously added on to the soup base. He doesn't recommend this soup. Sriracha garlic parm wings- this was the best item of the night. The wings were nice and meaty, the exterior was nice and crunchy. The inside was nice and juicy and it was a nice order, overall. You have a choice of either 6 or 10 wings and we chose 6. Service was friendly and quick. They answer all our questions, but I doubt that we will be returning. read more

Good spot to come and grab a quick bite to eat. Started with the spicy feta dip. Not the best I've ever had but very serviceable. The pitas given with it was lackluster. The lamb on the bowl mixed with all the other toppings including feta, pickled onions, lettuce, tomato, and olives were great. Everything tasted fresh. The rice was bland and didn't add anything to the bowl. It isn't the greatest meal I've ever had but if I'm in the mood for a bowl I would not mind stopping in and eating here. Some of the best local food around. Easily the best Greek spot in Brick I have been to. Food is well priced and you have enormous portions. Most is enough for 2 people. Food has always been top knotch. You can get anything and be pleased. The only complaint is sometimes theres too much food to eat but thats a good thing. The establishment has a cozy and modern atmosphere and is pristinely clean. The employees were constantly cleaning the whole time I was there. Staff is accommodating. This place is in the same plaza as turning point, christmas tree shop, and costco. I wanted to get something to eat that I havent had in a long time and this place was near me. The inside looks very casual like the same as chipotle layout. Got an order for pick up which I placed through their online website. It looked clean inside. Food was ready when we picked it up. We ordered the greek and the al pastor. The greek had a ton of tzatziki sauce so creamy and delicious. We got no tomatoes and onions with the greek but it does come with it. It is what it is expect nothing more. It's good and if it's not "authentic Greek Food" it's still good. Is General Tsos Chicken authentic Chinese food? We both had to go bowls with chicken, nice veggies and sauces. Reasonably prices, quick service, and close by. $50 for 2 people. Good enough for a weeknight when you're tired of pizza and Asian. Been going here for a few months now and the food is so dang good. My wife gets the gyro bowl and I get the titan gyro and village fries are so freaking good. Also they have organic drinks that are perfectly crafted. The place is always clean even the bathrooms and the staff and owners which is family owned are awesome people. If you're looking for great food at a good price that is also healthy then this is the fast food you should be eating. What can be said? The place seems nice. Available parking. Staff seems nice. BTW, the three stars is actually more like 2.5. Gyros are almost 10 dollars without fries. It was average tasting and an average to say smallish size for the price charged. A portion of plain fries albeit somewhat plentiful and tasty were $4.50. Why? They should offer a smaller portion at half that charged. In all and my opinion, look elsewhere for something costing less and with flavor. read more

You pick your meal cafeteria style like many of the newer chains, playa bowls, poke ramen etc. you know the routine only with Greek fare. You can order a bowl, pita or a plate. The bowl: choices of seven over greens or rice $9.5 The pita(yeero) seven choices $7.75. The plate: seven choices with a pita(yeero), ,potatoes &saffron or brown rice $11.5. Choice of 9 sauces and top it off with Red onions and parsley, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, crumbled feta, Aegean slaw....your pick. The Kataifi was excellent as dessert. For a fast food Greek restaurant the food is decent. They cater to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy free diners. They say they have an authentic rotisserie. Hubby and I ordered in tonight, as much as we love to eat out, sometimes DoorDash it is! We each ordered the create your own platter, options of rice, lemon potatoes, beans, and quite a few proteins as well. So, we ordered the traditional gyro meat with lemon potatoes, saffron rice and the little salad with hummus and taziki sauce. WOW!! Our meals arrived, packed and prepared very well, tasty and for me, enough for a sweet little lunch tomorrow. I work close to this place and I've been dying to try it but my boyfriend never wanted to go... but SUCKS FOR HIM!! I'm not a huge fan of falafel but I'm glad I tried it here because it gave me a fighting chance lol I really love the chicken .. it tastes like they pull it out of the oven or grill and just cut it fresh every time. We love this sort of food, especially falafel, so took a 30 minute detour for lunch. Service was friendly, and no other customers were there. We never saw any outdoor seating, not as much as a bench out front(not sure why it says they have outdoor seating), so we ate on the grass near the parking lot. There are a lot of sauce choices, in particular. I would have liked more lettuce, but my pita was tasty. The most notable thing was that we did not like the falafel - it was pasty, wet, not crispy, and had an odd flavor. We get falafel whenever we can, at many different places, and this is not a good one. The empanada was good but it was quite small. read more

I loved the Shrewsbury location and now there's a new location in Brick! Great casual Greek food. My favorite is the Yioti's Way wrap. It's marinated a marinated chicken Yeero with tomato, fries, onion and Tzaziki. Yum! Their packaging, utensils, napkins, cups and straws are 100% comparable packaging ! Nice touch! Is it fair to write a review of a restaurant if you haven't actually eaten the food there? Well, who said life is fair? Lol. Full disclosure: I chose not to eat here due to reasons outlined below. I gave this place three stars; IMO, that's giving them the benefit of the doubt. Given the issues here, it would literally be INcredible, and surprising if the food was better than my rating. So you can discount my review, take it with a grain of salt, or just skip reading it all together. This place presents itself as a Greek restaurant or bistro. However, if you look at the menu, a copy of which I've thoughtfully provided (I spare no expense or hardship in bringing first rate reviews to my Yelper friends, as you can tell), you'll notice that this place is yet another one of those not-so-well-thought-out *build your own* type restaurant, offering a mish-mash of various disjointed pre-prepared food-like items. The ones intended for warm consumption kept in warmer trays, a la Chipotle Mexican Grill and a slew of cheap Philipino dives. Add to this the fact that some culinary Michelangelo, after apparently giving great thought to how he can drive an even bigger wedge between what's offered here and authentic Greek food, decided to go the route of the abomination that exists here, which can perhaps best be loosely described as Greek/Mexican/South American fusion food - I guess. The only positive that I could find here is that they use the traditional vertical rotisseries for the gyro meat, or "Yeero" as they spell it here. There's three choices: beef, pork, and chicken. You'd be surprised at how many places cheap out on this, and simply pan roast the meat instead of using a rotisserie, because "it's just as good". However, that vertical rotisserie, while a prerequisite for authentic Gyro and Shawarma, can also backfire on the chef. It is akin to a balancing act on the cutting edge of a knife blade. The spit has to be continuously turning, as well as the meat being cut off at fairly frequent and regular intervals. If these simple rules are not followed, the meat will dry out and be chewy. The build-your-own concept is a clever idea if your goal is to please everyone, and/or your clientele consists entirely of.... people... of people who are experts at figuring out what foods go together, what foods complement and play well with each other, as well as identifying contrasting flavors and textures that heighten the experience of eating... You know... those people commonly referred to as... No, not gourmands... Nope, not precisely connoisseurs...No, not epicures or foodies either.... OH!! OH, I GOT IT! I remember now. They are commonly referred to as "Chefs". That is the word I was looking for, Chef. I don't know about you, but when I go out for a meal, generally part of what I am paying for, is (hopefully) someone's superior knowledge as to what foods, condiments, and even drinks, pair well together. To give you an idea of silly this has all become allow me to recount my visit from the point at which I thought I was ready to order. In addition to my own table, I only see two others occupied, totalling 3 or 4 people at around 8 pm on a Wednesday or Thursday. So I immediately decide against the Gyro (remember the frequent rotisserie carving rule from before?). I tell the young lady, who was very pleasant BTW, that I wanted something simple, like a falafel. However, I didn't want it in a pita since it was to-go and I didn't want the bread to get soggy. So I asked for some suggestions. She thought a good idea would be to get a "plate", substitute "three small falafel balls" (her words) for the meat (which I assume is included) in the plate, have that over lemon potatoes and rice (i assume served separately), and top it all off with Chipotle Cremona (whatever that is??). Can you see my reluctance to eat here? Can you see why it may have looked like an attractive alternative to leave and go to Falafel Bros., 5 minutes away on the next street over? It's possible that I am wrong and the gyros are awesome, but with this many red flags, I felt like I would be purposely sabotaging myself by eating a sub-par meal to confirm what I already know. read more

Stopped here on the way home from cape May, I was craving a salad and something more hearty after a few days of eating more fried + sugary foods than I usually do. Decided to stop here after seeing on the menu there were good vegan options and customizable quick options. The way this place works is you tell the cashier what you want and then they make it for you behind the counter. I thought it would be more like a chipotle style method of ordering but this works too after asking a few questions and clarification of a few things. I decided to get a plate (comes with choice of rice, beans, protein choice, topping/sauce choice, a side "greek salad" and pita on the side) I got the saffron rice as my choice, it was not the best saffron rice I have had for sure but it was still good, next time I would probably just opt for the brown though! The beans were decent maybe just not as fresh tasting as I would have wished. Potatoes were good but once again I have had better lemon potatoes before. Same deal with the hummus and falafel but once again it was still good. Just not the most "authentic" tasting. But I understand every place has their own take on traditional food! I made the salad vegan by removing the feta and chose the lemon herb tahini as my dressing (should have asked for the dressing on the side, they added a lot) the pita was also good, very soft and a little on the sweeter side than expected.
