When he came back with my selection, along with some alternatives, Jaydin was full of information and descriptions on each shoe. Immediately Jaydin's personality came out. He has a great sense of humor. He's very personable, as well as being very professional. I ended up feeling like I made a new friend. He is one of those people you just feel privileged to know. He really knew what he was doing so I ended up with a great pair of boots that I will have for a long time. As I walked toward the exit of the store, I noticed that the original Beck's shoes was in Denmark and I'm of Danish heritage. It turns out that this whole experience was meant to be!

It's a wonderful feeling to actually have customer service. Selection was great, I would have like more color selection in the particular shoe I purchased but that wasn't an issue. The whole ridiculous experience cost everyone involved money and time, and frankly made no sense. Unless they just don't care about keeping customers.

After reading "from the business" on Yelp, this is an independent store. Family insisted I get another pair because my other pair was disintegrating. I was lucky to find a perfect pair and in the clearance section! Total win! Plenty of mall parking. Open 6 days a week from 10am to 5pm, closed Sundays. Service - Excellent. Only 1 person was working, and there were like 10 customers. She did a GREAT job managing the crowd. When the daughter talked about the latest shoe designs she saw at the International Shoe Show, I got a little misty. You know that commercial on TV about the "Mystical Island of Shoes." I ended up with a new pair of sandals from a company called Zumfoot, which is an off-shoot of Birkenstock, since they were running a great promotional sale. I've stopped by this store for years since they carry some of my favorite lines including Dansko (now Sanita), Keen, Naot and Beautifeel, but now I might even take advantage of their free shipping offer and order shoes on-line (http://www.lithiaparkshoes.com/prostores/servlet/StoreFront). They usually have a cat in residence at the store, so you can say hi to Lolita while you browse. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that during my subsequent visits they rarely have items on sale or just a very small assortment. Gayle looks pretty fabulous in most everything she wears, so I wasn't worried about having to validate any of her wise choices. However, she does need to take me shopping, because perhaps on a few levels, I don't have a clue. From my perspective, Earthly Goods is a very attractive store that consists of a main floor and 2 mezzanine areas. There were also a couple of nice "male seats" available along with reading material. Gayle liked the selection, along with many of the styles and how they looked on her. However, she was not quite ready to "pull the trigger" on any of her choices. Big Mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now." I also had a two year old in tow. The bathroom policy is the stores, I think, and not the salespersons. I have tried to supporth this local business even though many people I know will not shop there because of the salespeoples snarky and condescending attitudes towards people they think are "tourists". I will not be shopping there anymore. Everything there can be found online. I think many people will follow my lead based on the huge response the post above received on Facebook.
