Needing to purchase new boots because I can no longer tie my current ones with my arthritis, I reluctantly chose some shoes to try on. I told Jaydin about my issue and he said he'll work to help me find just what I wanted. When he came back with my selection, along with some alternatives, Jaydin was full of information and descriptions on each shoe. Immediately Jaydin's personality came out. He has a great sense of humor. He's very personable, as well as being very professional. I ended up feeling like I made a new friend. He is one of those people you just feel privileged to know. He really knew what he was doing so I ended up with a great pair of boots that I will have for a long time. I haven't had an actual shoe salesman measure my foot, use his shoe horn, and tie my shoes for me since I was a kid. Before stopping at Beck's I was at Macy's - I literally had to call out, "Is anyone employed here to take my money?"... no answer - so I left. It's a wonderful feeling to actually have customer service. Selection was great, I would have like more color selection in the particular shoe I purchased but that wasn't an issue. The foot analyzing pad showed supination which was corrected by orthotic inserts which instantly made my feet feel so much better. Overall excellent, friendly, and personal service by Patrick Marks! A waste of time. The store was previously called Johnson's Shoes, and it has recently changed ownership. ECCO was having a summer sale and I was in search of a pair of ECCO Track 25's. Becks is listed as an ECCO retailer so I called and was told that they had these shoes in stock. When I finally found the store (still listed as Johnson's on the mall's directory) there was one person working, and she was chatting with a gentleman about everything except shoes. After 5 minutes I picked up a pair of the Track 25's ($240.00) off the display table, hoping that she would cut the conversation short. Nope. Another customer walked in just as a young man walked out of the back, walked directly to them and said, "May I help you". I stood there, ignored. Another few minutes and, "We'll be right with you". Waited some more. When it was finally my turn, I was told that they only had two ECCO shoes in stock. Not two styles, but two physical pairs of ECCOs in the entire store, which were the two pairs on display, both size 10, neither of them on sale. She didn't even know that ECCO was having a sale, which didn't matter anyway because they only had two pairs of shoes in the store. Why is this store an official ECCO retailer? read more

Lola found the perfect shoe that I needed that would help me with my plantar fasciitis, Achilles inflamed, sore arches. My husband was blown away with the service Lola gave me. Fantastic shoe shop. Ms. Lola B gave me the best shopping experience i have ever had in a shoe store, and i left with two pairs of shoes (sandals and tennis shoes) that feel good and ARE good for my feet. Not only that, but she and the footprint mapper matched my foot a with an insole insert that makes a huge difference. Mind blown. The experience was thorough, she gave me so many shoes to choose from, and intuitively knew what to choose next! Logan is outstanding. I went in to just look around and see if they had any shoes for foot pronation and Logan got me onto the foot scanner and even before that Logan had a couple pairs in mind for me. He was attentive, sweet and detailed in his work. I, left with a pair of Hoka's and it's like walking on a cloud. My feet don't hurt and I can tell a huge difference. I was in need of thin, roomy socks. Kristina (I think) helped me locate some socks to check out while she continued to help another customer. Laurie walked over, asked me some questions, and had some great suggestions for possible socks. (I have really wide feet.). One conversation led to another: I ended up with a pair of shoes that fit great (a challenging accomplishment!) and 4 pairs of socks (buy 3, get 1 free) that also are roomy, light weight, and very comfortable! Saturday night right before closing our group of 4 walking into the store. We were greeted by Logan and asked how he could help. After a long day of shopping he got each of us to stand on the machine they have in store that tests your foot pressure. We all ended up with new orthopedic inserts. I personally tried on a pair of flip flops he suggested and fell in love with how they made my feet feel and the support they offered and then tried on a pair of shoes with the orthopedic inserts and walked out with those too. Logan was VERY knowledgeable and very understanding. He managed our crazy group on friends and got us all exactly what we needed. We were very happy with the professionalism and knowledge we received when Logan helped us yesterday evening. I went in looking fo a pair of closed toed sandals because my feet get very hot in the summer. I stand on my feet for ten hours a day and wanted something comfortable but airy. Logan had me step on the sole identifier and after discussing my needs he fit me in the exact soles I needed and the most breathable, comfortable shoes I've ever stepped in. I work in a shop and he thought of my safety as well as the breathe ability I was looking for. We also purchased insoles for my husband and within minutes his back was already feeling better. Oh my. Thinking I was going into Johnson's shoes, I was thrilled with the new ownership! The store had other customers and within three minutes, the woman at the counter asked Logan to come from the stockroom onto the floor and help me. And yes, he helped me! He was patient, incredibly knowledgeable, unrushed and kind. He had the inside scoop about the details of the three pairs of shoes I tried on. He compared these three brands to my feet, addressing their unique qualities. Logan helped me make the best match. He also suggested a specific sock, without pushing me into purchasing it. He was fantastic! Best shoe salesman I've come across in years and years. Who knew they still made them like Logan! Beck's shoes all the way!
