The electronics department was impressive with a wide selection, and the children's clothing section was especially large, offering many options for all ages. However, there was one major drawback that significantly impacted my visit. Another patron and I did not have our physical Star Cards with us and needed assistance retrieving our accounts. We were told there was only one person on duty who could access this information at night. Unfortunately, we were informed that this associate was working another job, arrived 40 minutes late, and that we simply had to wait. We were also told that we could drive to another location if we didn't want to wait--but that is not a reasonable expectation for shoppers who are already in-store and ready to purchase. To make matters worse, when the associate finally arrived, there was no apology for the delay. This staffing limitation and lack of accountability was frustrating and ultimately spoiled what otherwise would have been an excellent shopping experience. It makes little sense to have only one individual authorized to handle such an essential function, especially during evening hours and the holiday season. With better contingency planning and customer communication, this could easily be corrected--because aside from this issue, the MCX truly excels in many areas.

I've gotten nice pieces of furniture for half off the sticker price. I've gotten name brand athletic wear for a great price. I always feel good when donating items to them, because I think it ACTUALLY goes to supporting the students of the Infant of Prague Catholic School. Which is very different than Goodwill or Salvation Army, where I feel like I'm just paying people's salary. Some of the ladies working there act kind of snooty, but it doesn't bother me at all, it's actually pretty funny. I always laugh on the inside...Lol The older, Catholic Ladies always act snippy with me, and I love it, as it reminds me of my teenage years when we had strict teachers, who would get on your case for every little thing...even though I'm a fully grown man, Marine Veteran, who's been in a warzone, Lol. Again, Infant of Prague Thrift Shop is nice, and I will always patronize!
