Much more in stock in my size plus their prices were decent. I also found a cute spring purse I had to have for 25% off . The gals at the register could not find my info for the rewards points, so they signed me up again , which made the checkout process a bit longer than I am used to. But overall , I am happy with my purchases and I would consider going there again in the future.

I've been going through a lot of shoes lately so while I've been in the malls around Western New York I've checked out a bunch of shoe stores in the past few months. Famous Footwear has better prices than most, but a much less extensive selection than the shoe stores that I like to shop at. I mean it's great to find cheap stuff but what's the point having cheap stuff if you can't find anything that you really want to wear. Nice service though, and definitely a credit to this mall.

While they seemed overpriced, they ended up being on sale (by 20 bucks!) and the assistant manager gave me 5% off for a bit of fraying on the stitching (nothing that will affect the quality of the shoes). No complaints over the customer service at all! If they just had a better selection and more sizes in stock, I would give a higher rating!

The very next day he said, "Do we have time to go look for sneakers?" followed by, "Where does one even buy shoes around here?" Enter DSW, my hero. Not only did we find him a pair... we found two. Their selection is fantastic -- all the good brands, tons of styles, and prices that don't make your eye twitch. Men's, women's, kids', athletic, dress, boots, casual -- if your feet need it, they've got it. They even have enough socks to support a full-scale sock-puppet theater troupe. My only tiny complaint? They could absolutely use more benches. One per aisle would be dreamy. Because when you're trying on shoes like it's your job, you need a place to sit. In a world where everything is online, I love that DSW is a real, fully stocked, walk-in store with fair prices and instant gratification. And yes -- there's a rewards program.
