It is clear that the correspondence team is failing to contact the doctor, creating a dangerous gap in patient care. My husband has been without life-saving medication for 3 months due to these administrative failures. This is not a doctor issue; this is a systemic failure of Healthy U's communication. The lack of follow-through and poor customer service is putting my husband's health and safety at risk. I called at 10:18 in the morning to be told I'm 72 in the queue another time in November it was 80 something. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Making an appointment thru the portal was INACCURATE & UNACCEPTABLE soonest was March. I originally had an appointment scheduled for a Tuesday, due to construction it was canceled. I found out online when doing the online "prepare for your visit". IF you're going to cancel an appointment, YOU CALL THE PATIENT AND RESCHEDULE. I did get a hold of a person at 7:30am on he gave me an appointment time and date but it didn't show in the system. It was never booked. He is not only knowledgeable and skilled but more than anything, he is wonderfully caring. Dr. Kwon takes his time in assessing each kid and he talks to each kid to make sure that he or she is comfortable. Dr. Kwon then always spends a great amount of time with the parents in ensuring that the each parent is free of concerns and questions. I can go on and on about Dr. Kwon because he truly is amazing. THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. She's very thorough and will go above and beyond to make sure your care are as needed. Her panel is closed and I've had to wait even one or two years in order to be accepted to her practice. She no longer has her own office and she is retiring in September 2023. She will be missed, but I felt like she should get the recognition she deserves.
