The hygienists are experienced and so friendly- and the fact that my kids never complain or have any fear about going to the dentist here is a sure sign that they are awesome (they have had other dentists that they were nearly kicking and screaming not to go). The receptionists are so welcoming and efficient as well. Despite not having dental coverage for insurance at the moment- I will gladly pay out of pocket (very reasonable fees here) as I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth!

I use Golden Oak Dental for all my dental needs now. They even offer a discount program for people, like me, that don't have insurance. You pay $250 a year and get 2 cleaning/exams, plus you get 17% off any additional services. The entire staff is amazing. My son has had to have 2 teeth pulled and 6 cavities filled. This is was completely missed after going on a regular cadence every 6 months. The same goes for my 8 year old son as well, completely missed my son left side with Xrays that resulted in a root canal, this is after just being at the office for a cleaning 6 months ago. I have never been so upset watching my two boys go through so much pain that could of been avoided with the proper care.

Prices are fair, they have a great program for those who don't have insurance. I have needed quit a bit of work done. The work that he does is top notch. He's way better then old dentist... even cleaned up some of my old fillings. The building is so clean and up to date. Nice , super clean atmosphere. The staff here are always nice and kind. Very easy to work with. I would recommend this dentist to anyone. We drive 30 minutes just to get here... even though there is one 3 minutes from my house. Happy customer!

I have been made to think that my employer is giving me false information and I have no active insurance. I would have been happy to give over all of the information again or even have them get in contact with my insurance agent or my employer directly because this has been an issue but could not make it to that point before I would get interrupted or told I was wrong. Instead, it was suggested that I would keep paying cash, out of pocket unless I wanted to file my own insurance claims on my own. This is unhelpful and proves they are not willing to look into any of this further but still want my trust and money. However, the office was wonderful about fixing it, and eventually gave me a new one. The hygienists are easy to talk to, but I sometimes think the material they talk to me about is borderline unprofessional. When my youngest was an infant, I brought her to a quick appointment. It was supposed to be a fast check. She was asleep in the car seat, and they asked me to put her in a small room alone while they did my teeth. It really rubbed me the wrong way, and I sat through the exam grateful to have glasses on to hide my tears. I recently had to cancel an appointment (I'm a teacher and had a parent meeting night that fell on the same day). My appointment was on a Monday, and I canceled right when I noticed the conflict. However, since I didn't give 24 hours notice, I was charged $30. I was crushed. When I explained that I was a teacher with another conflict, I was told "sorry". I understand the policy, but was hoping that as a client for so long an exception would be made. I am a mother of (almost) four kids, and I need an office that is a bit more flexible with busy families. I caution others using their service to be aware of the policy. I'm disappointed that Laska did not help out even a long standing patient. I have always been very anxious when I go to the dentist, regardless of which doctor I see, and Dr. Bitner and his staff always are very reassuring and comforting throughout my appointment. They consistently make sure you are feeling well and that you are okay. During a cavity filling appointment I was having a very hard time staying calm during the first fill and they kept checking in to make sure I was okay, that I wasn't in pain, etc and between the first and second fill they numbed me for the bottom tooth and instead of rushing me like most places tend to do with patients, they let me take a break until I felt like I was ready to continue. They are a great office with great doctors and staff and I will definitely be returning and recommend them to anyone!

When I called and wanted the explanation of a charge that was not estimated. I was sent to the billing department. Where the lady kept talking down to me, without listening to me. We had a seven minute conversation and she started to accuse me of yelling at her which I told her I was not doing. She then placed me on a 4 minute hold. When she came back she said that the doctor was not in she talked to his Son. Who said that when I come in for my next appointment I should discuss it with The doctor. (No resolution) If this is a portion the insurance did not pay. It should be labeled that way. Not as an additional line item labeled something else.
