I have been to a half a dozen different dentist in my adult years and haven't felt like they had my best interest at heart. Most seemed like they just wanted to suggest things to keep you coming back again and again whether you needed to or not and regardless if it could be done same visit. I just about gave up on finding my dentist "home" until a coworker recommended Bahri. She had nothing but great things to say and explained that she has been going to them for years and even has her son going to them so it's a family dentistry! I thought, well, it's been 2 years since I last saw a dentist and, should probably go, so let's give them a try. I called to make the appointment and they got me in that same week! They were so flexible with my schedule and made it so easy. They even emailed me a link to complete my new patient forms online and took me maybe 5 minutes to complete. So simple! I will say that finding the place took me a hot minute. I had the address and found the right spot, saw signs pointing to Bahri Dental Group but it took me to a college. I soon figured out the dental group was inside the college right through the main entrance. It would have been nice if they mentioned that when I made the appointment but I'm pretty intuitive and just figured it out. I walked in and told them my name and they immediately asked me back to a room. No forms to fill out or waiting around! They made me wash my hands (covid) before doing anything. They dis xrays, cleaning, etc. in record time and really focused on making me comfortable while be efficient. After they were done, the doc came over and did his exam. Explained to me what I'm doing well and things to consider to make my dental hygiene better (without pressure) and the. Set up my next appointment. My husband then made an appointment and was booked the very next day. He needed a crown and they made the crown impression and then plugged it into a computer and then it made some noise and produced the crown just like that. Like maybe 5 minutes! They have some of the better and high tech equipment to make things so efficient and avoid needing to make duplicate appointments. All I can say it between me and my husband, we both had great experiences. Mine was more simple because my teeth has no issues or cavities but even my husband who needed a crown and had 3 cavities, if was still an efficient and good experience. I would highly recommend Bahri.

I came to ClearChoice Jacksonville with the hope of restoring my smile and improving my quality of life. A smile is personal -- it affects your confidence, your comfort, and how you show up in the world. Unfortunately, my experience as a patient has been extremely disappointing and stressful. After beginning treatment, I experienced ongoing pain and complications that significantly impacted my daily life. As my concerns increased, I made multiple attempts to communicate directly with the Jacksonville ClearChoice office and resolve my concerns privately before sharing my experience publicly. During my visits, I raised concerns regarding my care and the environment where I was receiving treatment. One of my major concerns was repeatedly having to remind staff about hand hygiene before gloves were placed on. As a patient trusting a dental office with an extensive procedure, I did not expect to feel responsible for repeatedly advocating for basic safety practices. I am also a disabled veteran and communicated my disability-related concerns to the office. During one of my visits, I noticed a dog present inside the dental office. I asked the front desk receptionist whose dog it was, and I was informed that it was the dentist's service dog. I expressed my concerns based on my disability and my need to feel comfortable and safe while receiving care. I requested consideration regarding my treatment environment. My concern was not about denying anyone else's accommodation. My concern was about communicating my own disability-related needs as a patient and requesting that they be addressed respectfully. Unfortunately, I left the interaction feeling that my concerns were not handled with the understanding and compassion I expected from a healthcare provider. As my pain continued, I requested my medical records and treatment documentation so I could fully understand my care and provide the necessary information for continued treatment. Despite multiple attempts to communicate and follow up, I have experienced delays and a lack of response to my requests. What has been most upsetting is not only the physical pain, but also the feeling of not being heard as a patient. I made every effort to communicate respectfully and provide opportunities for resolution before sharing my experience publicly. After exhausting those efforts, I am sharing my story because patients deserve to make informed decisions when choosing a provider for something as important as their health and their smile. Dental implant treatment is a major decision -- financially, physically, and emotionally. Patients deserve clear communication, compassion, safety, and trust throughout the entire process.
