TERRIBLE PAIN RUNYON Tried one procedure that didn't work said there was nothing else he could do for me gave me opiates Jude carr PA. Saw him briefly after Dr Runyon left more opiates and ordered a MRI up until then they didn't know what was wrong with me! I went to Drl Liu. I had researched online and found lots of other procedures I asked her if I could get an epidural and got one right away only got real results from her Take away: Don't wait in pain so long change doctors I had my spinal fusion procedure in August and found Dr Liu in January I had almost given up I asked her to do a procedure that I had found online an epidural and she did it right away and I'm waiting for it to kick in after months of extreme pain. I didn't have any pain before the surgery surgeon was doctor Crutcher If you're not getting results search online that's how I found the epidural Jude Carr just kind of brushed it off. He encouraged me to call him at any time if I had questions. He actually returned a call while on a break during a lecture he was giving in San Diego!!!!!!! I felt horrible bcs I had a stupid little question but he reassured me it was fine. I love this guy. Dr. Chris Brown - I and my mother concur with his out of state patients who were in the waiting room - he is a miracle worker. He literally changes your life from one of misery and depression to one that is mobile, active, joyous and forward thinking. If you ask 10 MD's who they would send their parent to for spinal issues, they would all say Chris Brown. Karen weaver

This was my first time here. Unfortunately, my health insurance company is fighting with my normal…read moremedical group. So, I had to quickly find another provider. When making the appointment, the scheduler initially told me there were no appointments until after January 2026. She heard the desperation in my voice and found me an appointment with Dr. Michael Armstrong for a few days later. I went to my appt & his nurse, Angela, was so sweet. She was empathetic and understanding. I was able to get what I needed & didn't have to spend much time there. I liked Dr. Armstrong. He was a gentle & very friendly. I don't usually see male gynecologists, but I'm thinking of seeing him from now on just because of this experience. I didn't give them a 5-star because the waiting room wasn't clean and tidy, and my appt was early in the morning. I also had to wait for the young lady to get off of social media to check-out. I literally had to knock on the glass. That's unacceptable. Outside of that, all went well.

Warning: If you are coming to this location to discuss symptoms or treatment of TMJ…read more(Temporomandibular Joint Disorder), your visit will NOT be covered if you have a Cigna health insurance plan. I had to pay $256 for a brief visit with a physician assistant (not the doctor, who was on vacation) about my TMJ symptoms (my jaw locking up and not opening more than a 1/2 inch). There was a brief inspection of my mouth and jaw, along with a short discussion about my options (trying a prescription to help with jaw relaxation and purchasing an over-the-counter mouthguard to help with teeth grinding). Since the visit was coded with TMJ, my health insurance plan refused to cover it, as it was not surgical. And yes, I appealed 3 times, submitting documentation, and discussing this issue for hours with both WakeMed's billing offices and Cigna customer service. I am SO disappointed with how this whole process unfolded with WakeMed that I will never be going to this location again.
