I looked up my insurance and found Dr. Hsu's 5 star reviews and ravings about her and the office. From my first phone call I was so impressed. The staff took care of everything for me!!! Insurance, getting records from the 2 other dentists offices & getting me in immediately to be seen. The dental assistance there are amazing too, and they are also going to dental school to become dentist. They're extremely thorough, friendly and spend a lot of time explaining everything in detail. Then Dr. Hsu came in. WOW! Not what I expected from the dentist I have been doing in the past. She was not rushing around and going back-and-forth to other patients she came in and talk to me for a while. We addressed my concerns. She told me what she thought was best, but she also gave me other options. There was no pressure! I already knew from her reviews what a fabulous surgeon she was, but she is also a wonderful person!!! She is amazingly smart! She is kind, caring, patient, and very good at what she does!!! I absolutely love the one on one. You will not feel rushed or dismissed or pressured. This place is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to everyone!!! I've had fillings done here that have lasted way longer than what is expected and the one time I had the beginnings of a minor cavity, it was painless and easy to get fixed. Susan is seriously the sweetest and I actually look forward to my cleanings because I get to chat with her. They remember everything we've discussed previously and I always get a goodie bag with things to try out for my sensitive teeth. The office staff should have known immediately from the amount of damage and disruption to the business before scheduling my appointment. She seemed confused about why Roncone's office was trying to scare us so much with all of the treatments she wanted us to get. I'm guessing it was for financial reasons. Very sad. The stuff she wrote to me in emails was outrageous in terms of how dishonest and inappropriate it was. If you've gone to her and are now in a conflict with her over some aspect of it (many are) I recommend you use email only to discuss it with her so you have everything she says in writing. She will tell you her email doesn't work to get out of it, but it works fine. She also sent us a bill many months after we left her care, for "copies" of our records even though no paper copies were ever made, adding exorbitant amounts of interest! Like it went from $5 to $30!! She also threatened to send us to collections for that amount! Luckily I know how to handle this kind of thing and am not scared of her bullying. She is also actively trying to get unfavorable Yelp reviews taken down, making stuff up to do so. Dishonest and unethical. Do not go to this dentist!

I care more about a great hygienist than a dentist…read more Since 2015, I've seen about seven hygienists. Out of those seven, two have been absolutely phenomenal! One retired, and I found myself on the hunt, convinced I'd never find a good one again. And then I went to Pendleton Family Dental. I've seen the hygienist twice now, and feel like a complete jacka$$ for not knowing her name. Both times, my smile was restored to brightness! My coffee stains, gone! No judgment for what buildup I had (partly because of two gum grafts I had a mere 8wks ago). In finding this wonderful lady, I'm now able to convert all my care over to this office. Yes, you read that right! I would go here 2x a year (covered) and then off base 2x a year (not covered) to the office where my hygienist who retired worked. (That means, cleanings every 3mos but every 6mos at each office--it was a lot to keep track of.) Now? I get to book here every 3mos and save some money. $70 for my non-covered cleanings versus $120 off base. And, because my off base hygienist retired, I was seeing randoms in that office (not bad service, but not phenomenal or memorable). I am *THRILLED* to have set aside my fears of a contracted dental office on base. I will *ABSOLUTELY* continue my care here so long as we live on base, or in the area. (Although if my gal retires....) If anyone from PFD reads this, please respond with my hygienist's name and let her know just how awesome she is!

When I had an emergency during the holidays while my own dentist's office was closed, my husband encouraged me to call Dr. Carlson's office. They were able to fit me in with Dr. Stanton. Long story short, I was so pleased and impressed with my experience, I'm making the change! Gina and Michelle at the front office are wonderful...so kind and caring. Rocio, Dr. Stanton's dental assistant, has a big heart, sweet disposition and is very eager to insure the physical and emotional comfort of the patient. Then there's Dr. Stanton: He is THE BEST! I'm a challenging patient, but Dr. Stanton has such a gentle caring manner. He really takes the time to understand the patient's issues and makes every effort to waylay fears and anxiety. I felt he genuinely cared about me and accepted my quirks without judgement. He took ample time to explain everything in detail and insured I didn't have any other questions. He executed the treatments (I've been in twice now) gently and with concern for my comfort above his own. I'm very happy to now be Dr. Stanton's patient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was very anxious going to someone new. I first scheduled x-rays and and cleaning. Front office & hygienist were profesional and friendly. I had a concussion a few years ago that left me sensitive to certain sounds and I was anxious about the dental drills. Dr Stanton met with me after my cleaning and carefully introduced the sounds to me to see if removing the crown was going to need a special approach. Things went well and he was able to remove and replace the crown with no problems. I really liked that they were able to make the crown in their office that morning and I didn't have to walk out with a temporary. The appointment from start to finish only took a few hours and I was comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend.
