They have very comfortable chairs and a refrigerator full of water. They even had little mints and chapstick that you could take. I think it's the little touches that really make an experience great. Even their bathroom was well equipped with toothbrushes that already had toothpaste in them and mouthwash for you. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and although they told me to plan to be there an hour and a half because I was having a dental sleep apnea appliance made, I was in and out of there in about 30 minutes or less. The girl that took all of my pictures and scanned my mouth was very nice and set me up for my next appointment before I saw the doctor so she was very efficient. The doctor was great, he asked me questions and was very thorough in explaining everything to me. I was super impressed with every single person at this practice which is very rare to find. A crown came off my molar a few weeks ago, but I had lost my dental insurance a couple of years ago…read moreso I didn't have a trusted dentist to go to. I have United Healthcare Medicare insurance for medical and it includes a UHC Dental Discount plan. I called local dentists listed on the plan until I found one who could see me. He was horrible, a total scam artist. He said I needed to have the tooth pulled, which I had expected, and a bone graft and he could do it that day for $2848 with no sedation. I am extremely dentist-phobic and wanted sedation and Dr Scam Artist said that would cost $5581. When I got home I logged onto Nextdoor, the neighborhood app, and asked if these were reasonable prices and if not, who people would recommend to pull my tooth. Several people recommended Dr Raymond Ngo so I called his office. Haylee explained his pricing and answered all my questions. The removal and bone graft cost $1100, complete sedation was $980, and Dr Ngo could see me the next day. I made the appointment and I am so glad I did. I got there early because we didn't know how long the drive would take, but Haylee signed me in and the tech took me back for x-rays. Dr Ngo came in a short time later, made sure I understood everything and had no questions, and a few minutes later he said he had the IV needle in my vein and asked if I was feeling groggy. I said no, not yet, and the next thing I knew I was waking up and everything was finished. I was so relieved! My antibiotic and pain meds were waiting at the drugstore near home. I took the antibiotics for the infection, but I never had any pain, fever, or swelling. Dr Ngo called me the next morning to make sure everything was okay, even though he was leaving for an out-of-state vacation! I have done this 4 times for the current bill. I have even mailed them to try to get it fixed when i got a bill on Friday and they were closed. i sent them all the supporting documents and names of who i talked to and dates i have called previously. One month later, the same incorrect bill! Same thing happened last year and it took months for them to fix it then also. Their phone message gives you the hours that they are open and then tells you that they are closed even though you are calling during those hours (and not during a lunch time). You would think an office this expensive would hire a better support team! Done with this office, time to move on!
