When we called The Construction Guyz, Jay actually came to the house discussed what we wanted to do and said he would send us a quote and that it was a good time as he was between jobs. He sent a very reasonable quote the next day, a Thursday and started the job the following Monday. The materials were delivered Monday morning and we met Jay's crew Geraldo and Trini who went right to work. These guys are master masons, Geraldo leveled each block and measured the spacing. The half blocks were all sawn not broken with a hammer. Geraldo said he worked with Jay for 17 years and I can see why. They are proud of their work and go about it without music blaring, offensive language or griping and left my yard neat and clean every day. The work included scrapping of all the debris and having it hauled away, installing additional drainage throughout the yard to tie into the existing drain, installing rebar and pouring of the concrete. They finished off with brushing of the new concrete to blend into the existing concrete we already had. I did some research, and their products seemed to be exactly what I needed for a low traffic area. When the sales rep came for the estimate, he discussed a 5 year company warranty if the product started to chip. They did the job, and unfortunately within about 2 years, some started coming apart and lifted (see pics) in a low traffic area/corner. I reached out several times, one being almost a year ago when a female individual informed me they'd get back to me. Never did, I reached out again a few weeks ago, and same "we'll get back to you," and never did. Their marketing is incredibly convincing, and they seem to be the local shop that will back their work if issues arise, but evidently they don't. This was not a cheap service, and I did some heavy vetting of companies. But learn from my mistake; With the variety of companies available for flooring services, I'd encourage anyone to look elsewhere and make sure you get any warranty documented.
