Chose this shop for a second opinion primarily because they advertised a free diagnostic. The…read morerepair estimate itself was on the higher side compared to other shops, but I was told the work could be completed in roughly 3 days, so I moved forward. I waited 6 days before finally calling for an update, only to be greeted by what can best be described as one of the most unnecessarily abrasive reception experiences I've had in a long time. Defensive, passive aggressive, and somehow managing to sound inconvenienced that a customer dared ask about their own vehicle. Eventually I received the call that the vehicle was ready. I'll admit I should have reviewed the invoice more carefully before paying, but I was in a rush and trusted the shop. That was my mistake. After leaving, I realized I'd been charged an additional $281 for a battery and installation that I never approved. Important detail: the battery in the vehicle was working perfectly fine when I dropped it off. When I returned for clarification, the receptionist immediately insisted the repair had been authorized, yet could not provide a single text, signature, phone recording, or any proof whatsoever showing approval. Once I pressed for documentation, the attitude escalated from dismissive to outright hostile, and I was essentially told there was nothing I could do about it. Fortunately for me, there was. I removed their battery myself, returned it, and received a refund. Ironically, I purchased the same quality battery elsewhere for $185 installed. The tech at AutoZone -- free of charge, by the way -- also cleaned the battery terminals, something apparently too ambitious for a $281 install at this shop. The returned battery still had corrosion and debris on it when I brought it back, which says a lot about the level of care involved. At that point, it naturally makes you wonder about the rest of the repair work -- although unlike the battery charge, I wasn't about to tear open the engine to verify it. Maybe the mechanical work is fine. Maybe it isn't. But customer service matters, professionalism matters, and charging customers for unapproved work absolutely matters. The receptionist alone would prevent me from ever returning here. Combined with the unauthorized charge and the complete lack of accountability, I'd strongly recommend others think twice before trusting this shop with their vehicle.

I came here because I wanted an…read morealternative to the BMW dealership and, more importantly, I wanted to feel that I could trust someone to be honest with me about my vehicle. I paid over $3,000 to have my BMW's air-conditioning repaired. After the repair, I had to bring my car back because there was now a problem with the fan--something I had not experienced before bringing my vehicle in. I was then told it would cost approximately another $900 to repair. One of my biggest regrets was telling them what the BMW dealership had quoted me--close to $5,000. In hindsight, I feel that sharing that information put me at a disadvantage. Instead of walking away feeling like I saved money, I walked away questioning whether I had been treated fairly. When I returned, they did explain what they believed was happening with the fan. However, from my perspective, if the fan was already having an issue while the AC system was being repaired, I should have been contacted and told about it before the original repair was completed. That would have allowed me to make an informed decision before spending thousands of dollars. At this point, I honestly wish I had gone to the dealership. I may have paid more initially, but I would rather have paid more and walked away confident in the work than spend over $3,000 and then be told I needed another approximately $900 repair for a problem I wasn't experiencing beforehand. I waited before writing this review because I didn't want to post something out of frustration. Months later, it still bothers me. For me, this is about more than the money--it is about trust. Unfortunately, I left this experience feeling that the trust I placed in this business was misplaced. Based on my personal experience, unless you are a mechanic yourself or know enough about cars to question what you are being told, I would not recommend trusting them with your vehicle.

My family has trusted them for over 20 years--that's longer than some of my socks have lasted! Randall, Ryan, and Carl are automotive superheroes--helpful, informative, and always ready to save the day (or at least rescue your transmission). One thing I especially love about Roswell Auto is the camaraderie. Sitting in their waiting room feels like stepping onto the set of The Andy Griffith Show. Randall is our own Goober (with slightly better hair), and the rest of the crew--Ryan, Carl, and the gang (a.k.a. Floyd, Gomer, Barney)--always make you feel right at home. Believe me, even Santa Claus would park his sleigh here for a tune-up (and a cookie or two). They keep my vans running smoother than Rudolph on Christmas Eve! So, if you want affordable quality, service with a smile, and a generous helping of nostalgic humor, Roswell Auto is your ticket to Santa's "Nice List." Santa Steve P.S. Don't forget to ask Randall to top off your blinker fluid before you leave. *(For a quick laugh, check out this humorous anecdote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn2IaQ7ECUY)*

I immediately reached out to East Cobb Auto and they claim the rip didn't happen on their watch and I must have ripped up the seat in those two hours and brought it back for them to repair. Obviously it happened from Saturday to Monday while in their custody. They claim they do a four door inspection upon completion of work. Obviously that didn't happen either. East Cobb Auto would not cover the seat repair costs I incurred nor did they offer to cover any portion of the repair cost. We have been customers for over 30 years and this was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. Would not recommend leaving your car in their care.
