I called the owner explaining to her that I shouldnt be responsible for the remaining balance of $130 because of the horrible customer service and my dress being messed up several times. I read all the reviews online and decided it was worth a shot. I was nervous because I have a totally custom, beaded lace Justin Alexander gown and it was ordered when I was in my best shape. Then I had a baby. With my *destination wedding* only 3 weeks away and needing all kinds of changes made to my gown, it was a tall order. I made an appointment, Yeon pinned me and made note of all my requests (including having a piece of my mother's gown sewn into the lining of mine, and adding a custom embroidered monogram dress label) - a complicated alteration since it needed to be delicately treated in order to not disturb the pattern of the lace and beading - and still make it fit like a glove. I left that appointment feeling sad about the way my dress looked and unsure that Yeon would be able to make it look good on me again. When I went for my fitting just a couple days ago, I was floored. All the things I thought would be too difficult to do, were done to perfection. The dress and patterns didn't look the least bit disturbed - everything laid flat against my body with no drooping, sagging, or tenting, and she gave me a waistline and a curvy silhouette. She also added a 9-hook French bustle that is absolutely perfect. She is quick, pleasant, expertly skilled, AND very reasonably priced - all in all I spent just over 10% of what the dress boutique wanted to charge me! I would absolutely recommend Yeon and Fashion Stitch to ANYONE looking for expert alterations.

I then messaged the owner on Instagram, and she indicated that appointments were available at certain times. I said that was great and proceeded to fill out the online appointment form, selecting one of the available times she had provided. My mom and I both took time off from work to make the trip to the store. We arrived 15 minutes early, only to be told that we did not have an appointment for the time we had selected. I explained that I had filled out the form and selected an available appointment time. I was then told that we had actually been scheduled for a different time slot. The problem is that I never received a confirmation email, phone call, or any other communication indicating that our appointment had been changed. This was extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, very unprofessional. If appointments are limited to specific days and times, the website and booking system need to accurately reflect availability and properly communicate confirmed appointments to customers. Unfortunately, after taking time off work and making the trip specifically for this appointment, we were left feeling that our time was not respected or valued.

I ended up finding a really cute shirt for St Patties Day that was on sale for $5-- so that was neat. They have hit or miss sales. Merchandise is hit or miss as well. I typically don't buy any female V necks or plain T shirts from Old Navy in general because they fall apart and fade after one wash.
