Don't waste your time. I emailed back and forth with this business on Yelp to set up a time for service. I called Tonya to confirm the service date we had emailed about the week before the service was supposed to happen. I never heard back. I called on the day of service to check in and never heard back. Totally unprofessional. I have a very small and easy to maintain front yard; they actually would have made money off of me if they bothered to deliver the service they promised. Ridiculous. read more

I needed to re-landscape my backyard and was referred to Jorge's Lawn Care from a friend. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate and Jorge came out just a few days later. I received the VERY fair estimate the very next day. Jorge's crew was able to cut down 4 trees, remove stumps, till existing lawn, condition the soil, lay new sod, barriers, weed block and black mulch within a week and a half. Jorge's wife, Tonya was extremely helpful and was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. They even took my dogs into consideration and offered to bring treats on a day I was unable to be at the house to keep them occupied and out of the yard :) I am VERY pleased with the quality of work and the outcome is beautiful. I hired Jorge's Lawn Care to perform weekly maintenance on my yard. I have been using them for about 1 year and have had several discussions with Jorge personally about the poor service related to how the plants in my yard are maintained. I've provided specific requests and even asked him to leave certain plants alone because I didn't trust that they would trim them correctly. I realize that no company will do it the way I would do it, but I at least expect the yard to look professionally maintained and for the company to listen to their customers requests. They're approach is to get in and out as soon as possible ("Mow and Blow"). They use the weed whacker for everything including roses and bushes. It doesn't matter how it looks, how long it will take to grow back of if it will kill the plant. I paid $120 month for my yard to look professionally maintained and unfortunately, that rarely occurred. read more

Called to get a quote. Well, at least tried to call. Each time, no answer. Response to calls happened the next day. Finally arranged an appointment to get a quote. Jorge does not use a cell phone so any fine tuning of the appointment not possible. With an unreliable office number, they make this quite a challenge! Jorge showed up. He is a very quiet guy. We went over the work needed. He said he would send me a quote in 4 days. Never heard from him again. I can't speak for his work but the way he runs things ... very frustrating. read more

I have to say, I had an email exchange with Tonya, and she seemed very nice. Unfortunately, however, I had the same problem with flakiness that others have had. Missed appointments with no warning, maybe an email the next day ... finally a no show, and no one followed up, and I gave up. I think that because I have a small yard with no need for more than once every few weeks service, I wasn't worth their time. C'est la vie, I wouldn't recommend them but they are probably fine for jobs that they consider worthwhile. read more

We had an appt for Jorge to come out this morning, between 8:30-9:00am to provide an estimate for one time yard cleanup and a landscaping consult. He was a no show, and when we called the office (several times), no one answered the phone. We left a message so we'll see if we hear back. But so far, I give this company barely one star. For any service, reliability is extremely important and my experience so far indicates Jorge lacks this quality. I am still hopeful and am assuming a family emergency came up or something, so if we hear back and he proves me otherwise, I'll update my review. I used Jorge's landscaping for 1.5 years. They are reasonable priced and the service was reasonable for 12 months. After that the quality of service greatly diminished. Weeds everywhere, lawn was not being mowed regularly. It was as if we were no longer on their route. It was hard to get a hold of them. Asked several times to pay for extra work like tree removal, and the emails and calls were rarely answered. Usually would get the monthly bills right at the end of the month or early into the next month with a reminder that there would be a penalty if not paid by the 1st. Not pleased at all. I scheduled my initial appointment which was to identify issues with my sprinkler system and determine rate for monthly lawn maintenance. I paid 30$ deposit and was told that a few sprinkler heads needed to be replaced and that the deposit would go towards those replacements on my first lawn maintenance visit. The crew showed up (not jorge) for lawn services but the crew had no idea that sprinkler repair was needed. One of the gentleman contacted Jorge and he said I'll be back to do that on the next visit. I chose bi-weekly maintenance of the lawn but that 2nd appt was suppose to be last week and no show. I been trying to contact them daily but no answer for a week and I have tried to call multiple times a day. So my question is do they ignore calls because they know the service is poor? I would have more respect for the business if they could just answer or call me knowing they missed my service day and have yet to repair my sprinkler heads. I've seen previous reviews where there was no answer to calls and missed service dates so for those of you that gave them a high rating.. you are the lucky ones. Very disappointing! read more

Jorge is amazing. We are preparing to sell a house and needed a fast sod installation for our open house. Not only did Jorge complete the job on short notice, and as promised but also checked the sprinkler system and repaired several sprinkler heads that were not working. I was so impressed with Jorges' quick response and thoroughness! I needed a local company to aerate and de-thatch my large front lawn so that I could apply special water saving granules. Jorge stepped up to the plate and came out within two business days. They checked all the sprinklers to make sure their work wouldn't break pipes and did a wonderful job raking up the entire lawn afterward, instead of leaving all the plugs in place like many services do. Then, Jorge volunteered to apply all the granules at no extra cost, something I was not looking forward to doing myself! I would reccomend using Jorge for any job, and I'm seriously considering using his company on a full time basis. Good to know that great customer service still exsists! read more

I hired Jorge's service to clean up my yard on my new house. The previous owners just through mulch over everything, so when it rained, weeds came up every where covering almost a 1/4 acre. I found Jorge via Yelp, made an appointment with Tonya in the office to get an estimate. Within a week Jorge was here and the weeds were gone. His crew was incredibly professional, the job was outstanding, and I hired them to continue to do the maintenance work and a few extra jobs in the backyard. Jorge's Gardening Services were recommended to us by a friend. We wanted pavers installed, and hedges and an orange tree trimmed and two trees removed. He installed the pavers, removed the trees and did some trimming of the hedges and the orange tree. We paid him in full but told him the hedges and the tree needed additional trimming. He said he would be back to finish the trimming and that he would return with his blower to clean up. This was in early July and he still has not returned despite numerous requests that he do so. In addition, two of the pavers now have cracks. Needless to say, we won't be calling him back. read more

I had recently moved into a house that had 7 years of weeds growing in the backyard. It was out of control. Jorge and his crew came in and completely demolished in just half a day for a decent price. Communication could be improved, however, I probably would have gotten faster replies if I called instead of emailed. I haven't used them for maintenance, but they were great for a clean up! I had Jorge's Gardening Service out to do a leaf clean up for me. Our neighbors tree had dumped too many leaves for us to handle cleaning up. They gave me a reasonable quote, showed up in the given time frame, and cleaned and hauled away all of the leaves within an hour.
