While you may have to wait a bit longer occasionally, this means the person before you is receiving the same thorough care and attention. Personally, I am grateful to have found such a dedicated and attentive doctor after years of feeling rushed through other practices. Dr. Lee takes the time to listen and genuinely cares about his patients. Everyone has bad days--we are all human, after all--but I have consistently found Dr. Lee and his staff to be professional, compassionate, and highly competent. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and his team. He is a family man and a family doctor who truly cares about his patients' well-being.

Updating my review. Am not coming back…read more My overall feeling here is that I'm overcharged on any medical appointment I have. And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

Steven Becker, MD, has been my primary care physician since 1999, and so too for my wife…read more Dr. Becker is medically knowledgeable, competent, incisively accurate in identifying problems and treatment solutions, approachable, and available. He is everything one could desire in a primary care physician. His availability allows for e-mail or text of a medical need, to which he responds, clarifies, and proceeds with sending prescription order or whatever is appropriate. Dr. Becker is actively and directly familiar with medical specialists and their competencies---not merely looking them up in a directory or online. He diagnosed my prostate cancer in 2003, and guided my choice of one of the most competent urologists in the Houston area. That same urologist treated the urologically related elements of my wife's cancer, and, in turn, directed her to one of the most competent gynecological oncologists in Houston. Dr. Becker has also served as primary care physician for one of my sisters and her husband, treating significant complexities with total satisfaction. In the last two months of my wife's life, Dr. Becker and HIS wife visited my wife during her final hospitalization, and thereafter they visited her twice in our home---not for medical treatment, but rather because they cared.

First, she was NOT friendly. I was taken aback instantly by how she answered the phone. She was very short, curt, and abrupt through our very brief conversation. Then, I realized she is only an answering service, and if I wanted to schedule an appointment, I would have to wait 6 days until someone else returned to the office to call me to get my information (and who knows how long I'd have to wait to be seen after that). If the first person I spoke to is any indicator on how the rest of my experience will go, I will easily move on and find someone else.

It was not lunchtime. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again several times, waiting several minutes between each call, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the doctor and had to go to Urgent Care. I had actually wanted to make Dr. Albritton my PCP from a while back, due to the positive reviews of the doctor herself. I was in the process of officially making her my PCP with my insurance when this happened. How incompetent can this staff be? No matter how superb of a provider Dr. Tiffany Albritton is, she is destroyed by the sheer nonexistence of her staff. If they do exist, they should be replaced with staff members who actually pick up the phone during business hours. If they don't exist at a certain point, fine. But for them to be absent for the whole duration of the period I incessantly called? I don't understand why any doctor would want to surround herself by staff that do nothing but bring her and her image down and create an aura of frustration and disappointment among her patients.

Our health insurance continued to keep him as an in-network provider and he is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine, where I work. The office staff and nurses are always attentive to requests for appointments, copies of blood test results, and other matters. I have also been of a patient of NP Carol Manning. She & I go back even farther. I will always remember when I overheard Dr. K on the phone sticking up for me with a specialist. I probably would have been sent home if Dr. Knafo had not insisted that something was wrong because she knew me so well. And that I was a good patient. So she sent me for some tests that same day & I had to be hospitalized for a week. I had developed an infection from a procedure I had with that specialist. I even had to have surgery because the fever would not break. I also remember one of her doctors calling my father on a Saturday to inquire on how he was feeling. We had seen Dr. G. Loya the day before. I was impressed & touched because she was so sincere about his well being. I see Dr. K or Carol Manning every year for my well woman exam & for any health issues during the year. I have not ever had any problems with the office staff. At my last visit 2 weeks ago, I had a sinus issue, my wait time was 15 minutes, the entire visit took about 40 minutes by the time I was back to my car. I don't think that was bad. I'm not crazy about the parking though. I usually have to park in a lot for $5.00.

This practice seems to bite off more than it can chew. I've been a patience for about 3 years,…read moresince leaving home for university. Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.
