DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IF YOU VALUE HEALTHCARE AT ALL!!!!!!!
BIGGEST NIGHTMARE EVER. Dr. Lee seems to be outright crazy for starters. Let's start with the fact that he did not read my medical history before he came in which was clear, looked at me and said, "What do you want?" I replied (I had my mother with me, so she heard all of this too and he had no nurse present on the room) "To establish a new family doctor." His response, "No, what do you want right now?" I needed medication refills. We started going over my medications, when we got to my pain meds I told him how many my previous doctors had me on and he got VERY defensive and said, "THAT'S TOO MANY! You need to eat right, drink water, exercise, and have epidurals done. You need to try one or two a day." That proves he didn't read ANY of the nurses notes or gotten any of my medical records even though I signed a release. I looked at him and said, "I've been taking this extremely light, lightest painkiller on the market for almost 10 years. I have lost 130+ pounds, right over there is my water bottle that I drink out of all day, I swim since I can't do anything else, and I've done steroid injections, epidurals, physical therapy 3 or 4 times now." He looked at myself and my mother and said, "Well I just made a complete and total ass of myself didn't I? Didn't I? I did, didn't? I just got told." Yes, yes you certainly did. Then he went on a totally bizarre tangent about how society puts the LGBT community in boxes and he said, and I quote, "I won't even go there with transgendered people because that's a WHOLE other conversation." HOMOPHOBIC MUCH? I think he may have thought I was gay, because I have a slightly radical haircut? He then proceeded (without knowing ANY of my medical history, dating history, for all he knew I could've just buried a husband) to ask me if I was single or married. I replied, "Single, by choice for 3 years, I'm working on myself, waiting for the right man and I'll do that on God's time". His response was, "That's not necessarily true, you can do it on your time, you need to make an eHarmony account and start dating. I think that needs to be the plan for you. Love really cures all ailments." And kept going on for about another 5 minutes about how love cures EVERYTHING. Well if I had known that I would've become a Disney Princess a long time ago and my best friend wouldn't be dead from cancer, thanks. Then he started talking about how he was seeing a psychiatrist or PSYCHOTHERAPIST and he's getting a divorce. Then he said he would write me 6 months of each of my prescriptions. I get the prescriptions and he's given me 2 months of one and 3 for my other two. I didn't notice until I got home that I only had 2 of my pain medication so I called the office (I also have all this recorded as I record all my business calls, because you NEVER know when people will be total flakes like Dr. Lee). Anyway I called he office and let them know that my RX Outreach program wanted a 90 day supply and he shorted me a month, they said that was fine, no problem bring the Rx's back in and we'll fix them, which I also recorded. Went in and got home and he gave me the SAME prescriptions back. I called the office (yes, I have recorded this too) and asked them to fix it again. She called back and said, "He's not going to do that." So I said, "Can I please get some clarification and integrity, because first it was 6 months, then it was 3, now he won't write one extra month so I can save money knowing I'm disabled and can't work at all?? Now going back on his word? I'm just confused as to why he would tell me he would write 6 months and now it's two?" I was very calm and nice because I like his receptionist. She calls me back this morning and says, "He's releasing you from the practice, because he isn't comfortable writing 3 months worth of meds." WHAT?!?!? I am most definitely turning him into the medical board and the attorney general and anyone else I can file complaints with and will post reviews on EVERY site I can find him on.
He also tried to extort money from me SEVERAL times for medications.
