Ok, I have got two haircuts there. First one was excellent by Quinn. She was attentive, careful, patient, and takes her time to cut my hair. She also washed my hair before and after. She spent a good 45 minutes with me. Second time, Anetra cut my hair. She first refused to wash my hair before the cut. I have very thick hair and after a night's sleep, my hair was all over the place. So I asked her if she can wash my hair, but she said she only washes after.... Then I noticed her cutting skill was pretty rusty.... Given the cost of the haircut, I could have gone to any barber to get this type of cut... I was disappointed. The fade was mediocre and the blend between the fade area to top was very amateur level. I asked to point cut my hair to thin it out, but my hair was thick as hell after. Wife was not happy after this one. I guess depends on who cuts your hair, you can either get a decent one or shitty one. The ambience is ok, website design is attractive, they have drinks you can enjoy, but remember why you go to a barber - "to get a decent haircut". Don't think I will throw my money away like that. After 2 weeks, I urgently need a new haircut now. Will look for a new place. Feel like the place has gone down since early days. Disappointed. read more

Incredible service all around. I have been many times and never had any issues whatsoever. They offer complimentary drinks while you wait for your stylist and everyone is always smiling and friendly. I don't get my hair cut anywhere else. read more

Words cannot express how happy I am that my wife this place for me. The build out is beautiful and like an old world Gentleman's club. Abrianna is my style councilor and is amazing. I highly recommend the Scalp Treatment. Abrianna has a new world talent with an old world approach, she listens to what you are asking for and delivers it every time. She does not make you feel like she is in a hurry and the chair services are as close to perfection as you can get. Front desk is always welcoming and greets to with a beverage of your choice. Coming here is absolutely one of my delights for the weeks. Thank you Jonpaul's read more

Try to find a skin fade, or even a basic taper in the suburbs...you can't. Couple solid barbers and a drink in the middle of the day. Why go anywhere else. You're welcome. Ask for Angela. read more

First class business. They have been a fixture in John's Creek for decades when there was very little there, so they must be doing something right. I have been coming to them whenever I am in the area. Friendly and relaxing place. Customer service is top notch. Had a small problem with my appointment and they went above and beyond to make things right. Dino gives a great haircut - my wife says it's the best I've had in years. Highly recommended. They also do gift cards, if you are looking for something for someone you know. read more

Jonpaul's - Another flawless cut by the great Quinn. - Men's Hair Salons Near Me - Johns Creek, Georgia

Jonpaul's continues to be excellent. The reason for their success is excellent service and not being a chain like Great Clips or others. Little things matter and that's why most guests come here. The clientele here is willing to spend a little more to get who and what they want. Hope new ownership understands that and keeps the essence of this salon. read more

I'm a huge fan of grooming lounges and have been to them across the country, but Jonpaul's is something special. The decor is classic southern and warm. It has an antique feel with leather, dark wood, brass, and marble. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They all have that "southern girl who's going to take care of y'all" vibe. I got the one hour shave which had multiple steps and even different lighting during the process. She used the best products and latest technology in what looked like an antique barber's chair. I loved it. Jonpaul's is hand's down the best grooming lounge I've been to. It's worth the drive from Atlanta. Ladies if your man is looking a little rough he'd enjoy this place and it's manly southern style. Nothing pretentious or girly here. It's staff makes it a place where any guy can feel relaxed and taken care of. Oh I almost forgot to mention FREE beer & drinks! read more

Just visited for the first time for my haircut with Kelly. Was greeted when I entered and offered a drink while I waited since I was early. The waiting area is nice and the whole shop is very tastefully decorated. Kelly was great and discussed what I was looking for and made great suggestions so that I ended up with a great new look that my wife also loves. I am always stressed when someone cuts my hair for the first time but her confidence made me relax immediately The best thing about the experience is that you don't feel rushed and its a very relaxing time, as well as a great haircut! Thanks again Kelly! read more

This is the best. Period. Don't bother with Roosters. I tried them both. For the price, there is far more value at Jonpaul's. Exquisite service. Beautiful gals. Becca cut my hair/trimmed my beard. Best haircut I've ever had - ever - in service and in how I actually felt about my looks after the haircut. Sad to hear she has left. April gave me the greatest massage and manicure/pedicure. I don't care if I have to book a week in advance, I'm only going to Jonpaul's to get my hair cut in Atlanta from now on. read more

I've been going to Jonpaul's for over a year now, after receiving a gift certificate from my wife. They had me hooked, and I've even increased the frequency of my haircuts because I love coming here. Great haircuts, great shaves, great massages since then. My new indulgence. This is a very comfortable place to be. They also stock Truefitt & Hill shave products, which are among my favorites, so I sometimes grab some on my way out. read more

Went once and got hooked. So worth it! The hair cut is great but that's only the beginning. Hot towel, straight razor shave, eyebrow wax, neck and shoulder massage, and a glass of single malt if your heart desires. It is pricey compared to other men's haircuts, but you get what you pay for... and I don't mind paying for this level of service. read more

If you want your fade to be right and you want it to be tight, your choice is Angela. I have been seeing her for a while now--I honestly had some trepidation at first, since I was pretty sure I needed a dude just out of prison, or with a neck tattoo, or a Dominican barber--but this girl seriously knows her way around clippers, and she has the right eye and touch for smooth, even, balanced transitions. Just as important, she can keep you in a wicked beard game. There are only a couple other places in the city you might even bother. So pick Angela, she is dealing out the freshies--be sure and get an appointment since she books up fast. I'm sure if you have a lame haircut that looks like someone's dad working a corporate job she could tighten up your game too, but if you are looking for top notch work, this is it. Added bonus for actual man drinks being available with which to relax. read more

Consistently good service. Was sad to see Bre leave. Now going to Quinn and she does a great job.

Finally, a relaxing "guy-centric" salon. Too often my choices were "great clips" or go to my wife's salon if I wanted a decent haircut. I love the hot towel treatment during the haircut session. read more

This place is great. Clean, professional and efficient. Quinn does an amazing job and cuts my hair perfect every time.

I've been coming here for about a year now and haven't thought about looking for anywhere else. You will never be disappointed by your experience here. Drinks while you wait and comfortable chairs. I haven't been disappointed by my haircuts yet. I would recommend this to anyone, that wants a great haircut, and wonderful experience. I hate going to other places, due to the smell of all the products, but not here. Men come and enjoy a relaxing haircut. If you don't need one then come and relax with a message. read more

My previous barber shop went out of business. I google 'the best men's haircut' in my area and Jonpaul's was at the top of the list for good reasons. Best men's salon around. Quality service with top notch personnel.

Pretty good barbershop. I enjoy having my hair cut by Mary Ellen skills and personality. Received one bad hair cut from a blonde barber, never had issues before. Jon Paul did refund my cut. read more

This weekend was my first time and I will be going back often. The services they offer are some of the best (got waxed). I'll be going back in 10-days. This is the first, and likely the last review I'll bother to write. First, this place went above and beyond my expectations. I am never going to go to a different place to get my haircut as long as I am living in the area. During my first visit here, which was today, I got a haircut and manscaping. Second, if you're anything like me, you are hopeless when it comes to explaining what kind of cut you want. And even when you think you have a marginally good explanation going, the "chop shops" always get something lost in translation. When I went to Jonpaul's I just asked the fine woman cutting my hair, Mary Ellen, what she thought would look good on me, and we talked things out and she went for it. Hands down the best haircut I've ever had. The entire haircut took 60 minutes, and boy, it is relaxing as ****. I'll be honest, I got pretty smashed the night before, and was hungover for a good part of the morning. Taking advantage of these guys' complimentary beverages (2 espressos), as well as the extremely relaxing atmosphere of my surroundings (plus the relaxing nature of the haircut-you get a massage after it........yeah) my hangover was cured. I noticed some people enjoying a variety of beverages while getting their haircut, not one frown in that place I tell ya. I'll be coming back, I'll be letting my buddies know about this place too. Definitely going to see how their deep tissue massage goes next week. Long story short: * I came out of this place a new man. * If you value the way you look and feel, come here for quality professionalism. * Atmosphere, staff, and overall experience was spectacular. read more

I have been going to JonPaul's for the past year and their staff is simply outstanding. Caitlin is an excellent stylist and the owner is a class act. Make sure you're not late, I had an appointment at 2:30 traffic was heavy and I was at the intersection in front of the salon at 2:35. I was five minutes late and I got a call on my cell phone from the salon asking where I was, I told them I was at the intersection in front of their salon but they still canceled my appointment because I was just running too behind for her to be able to provide my services. I had referred four people as clients to the salon in the past and I was coming to the salon on a gift certificate from an existing client of theirs. I will never return. read more

A friend recommended Jonpaul's to me. I tried it for a massage first and it rocked. The next time I needed a haircut gave them a try and have been a customer ever since. This is the epitome of a man spa! The haircuts are a pampered experience...from the reclining leather barber chair to the neck massage to the hot towels on the face...well, you get the picture...not your average haircut. There is nothing average about this place. Willow and April are the masseuses and will leave you feeling on top of your game every time. Give them a try...you will not regret it!! read more

Just a phenomenal place....classy, classy, classy! I get my husband gift cards for every occasion - Xmas, V-Day, Father's Day, Anniversary and his Bday. Whenever he sees another JonPaul's gift bag, he lights up. He raves about their hot shaves and facials, as well as their overall service and attention to detail. Even the hand done wax seals they place on their gift card envelopes set the tone for First Class! We have to give a friend a bday gift this weekend, and it's definitely going to be a Jon Paul's gift card....perfect for any man who has everything and/or really takes pride in his appearance. I always thought this was a gentleman's clothing shop until I read about the "Best Hot Shave in Atlanta" from Atlanta Magazine one time. I was thrilled to find out that this is right in my backyard! Perfect for Johns Creek. When you go in, take a peek at the gorgeous antique barber chairs with highly polished brass.... really a gorgeous spa for men. Now, don't take up ALL of the appointment slots ... I need a few available for my man!! read more
