They were thorough and they listened to what I needed as this was a double move, meaning half the items to storage and the rest to the new place and many other little necessary details that I needed, for example certain items in storage needed to be in front for easy access etc. I have moved MANY times while living in Southern California (and even there the movers were always at least 2 hours late) and have had either ok or bad service from movers, but these Rockstars here in the Valley worked like a well oiled machine and got it done! Also, even though I was leery at the price, it actually turned out less than what I expected with the double move. These guys worked fast! Not only would I recommend them to friends, I will be using them again whenever I move!

I wanted to share my recent moving experience and provide a recommendation for RGV Home Solutions…read more We had originally scheduled our move with Garcia's Moving Services 12 days in advance. Despite multiple confirmations, the team failed to arrive on time. After being told several different arrival times and waiting over two hours past the scheduled window, I decided to look for another moving company. I contacted Robert C. Barrios with RGV Home Solutions at 11:40 AM. Robert and his team arrived just five minutes later and began working immediately. They completed our move from Brownsville to South Padre Island in exactly three hours!! The team handled our furniture and boxes with great care and precision. Their rates are budget-friendly, and the payment process was simple and efficient. RGV Home Solutions is a masterful, Veteran-owned local business, and I highly recommend their services. They got almost our entire 3 bedroom house in one load - I was shocked! Fast and efficient, which was impressive in this current heat. The second load wasn't full so they were kind enough to add a handful of items that I had in the garage that weren't even packed yet. They even helped set up a few items in the new house and offered to help with anything else we needed. The entire move took 3 hours, which was less than they estimated. Bother Robert and his guy (I forgot his name even though he told me, so sorry) were friendly, professional, and respectful. I would absolutely not hesitate to use them again. Thank you Robert!

When our movers failed to arrive at the promised time, I called the business to make sure…read moreeverything was okay, and was told the men were running late. A few minutes later, I received a call back informing me that one of the movers couldn't make it to work. The company eventually called me to say they found coverage and would eventually arrive almost an hour later than scheduled. My appointment was for 9AM and this business is a ~5 minute drive from my residence, according to Google Maps. Moving is stressful enough. There are deadlines that have to be met involving multiple companies and people. For instance, the U-Haul truck I rented for this move had to be returned in another city by a certain time. My family who volunteered to transport my car needed to be back in time to rest for their jobs. Showing up on time is part of being a professional. Or at least that's what I was taught. I decided to ask the movers to leave after the 1 hour minimum, even though we had more boxes to transport. They failed to follow directions and even took apart my table without asking. It just wasn't worth the trouble. When it was time to pay, I was initially billed for the wrong time. I'm not sure if the man was trying to rip me off by playing stupid, but from start to finish, it left a bad taste in my mouth. It would be like me showing up to work late, then asking my boss for a raise for the work I didn't do. If you need moving help in the Valley, I strongly recommend Rockstar Moving. They are dependable, professional, honest, hard-working people. I hired them to move in the exact same furniture into my residence (see my previous review), so it's easy to make a direct comparison. Had they not been already booked, I would've chosen them again.

Reggie and Raymond worked with each other in such a positive manner it was impressive... especially as the late evening hours approached. The movers in Germany did a fantastic job, the shipment through all points was great until, Gulf Moving Systems got my shipment. First, I had to contact them. They never initiated any contact, even though they had my information because they had just delivered one crate from a in state shipment the previous week, also delayed an extra 10 days due to their lack of scheduling. Back to my current issue. My house hold goods shipment was delayed from July 23,to the 27th, and then to August 3. When August 3 came and the furniture didn't, I called Mandy at the San Benito offices of Gulf Moving Systems. She let me know that the shipment of six crates had arrived and scheduled delivery for August 9th. Again a delay, but OK. We changed our departure back to Germany from August 10th to the 13th to allow us time to unpack and inspect the shipment, based on Mandy's promise that the shipment would arrive on the 9th. This change cost us $1200.00. Today, August 6th, we were contacted by the transfer agent asking why we hadn't scheduled our delivery. ???? We called Gulf Coast and they denied scheduling for the 9th, then admitted that they had penciled us in, but canceled because of paperwork issues. They can't deliver now until the 17th and still are asking for paperwork. Very unprofessional, and unacceptable, non responsive behavior. I do not recommend this agent for anything even a local move.
